Not going to sit here and say they won't challenge for the title next season but it's nonsense how people keep on falling for their good performances. Lampard is not Lampard for me anymore. He's just an ex Chelsea player who performed really well for us in the past and gave us good memories. Football is so popular because there are people like us, the fans, spending time and a lot of money to engage with the club and players. Without the "love" aspect football could be quite a boring game. On paper Lamps did nothing wrong but from the sentimental point of view, he made a mistake.
