Marginalising?, in the grand scheme of things Mata & De Bruyne are irrelevant, Jose priortised his philosophy over individuals and that's how it should be. ^ Also, even IF we were going to 'go down that route' and compare 'individuals' (I haven't been), Mourinho is one of the greatest managers in sporting history, Mata is nobody compared to someone of that calibre, absolutely nobody.

Think about this for a second, there are actual Chelsea fans invested in the demise of the current team, because it means they can moan about Mourinho, Gilvorak & lionsden have wasted their lives as football fans. Sulking in the corner as we lift trophy after trophy because they were wrong.. You were against the sale to a rival.. yet United were the only club interested in Mata, thus.. you were against the sale (as it doesn't exist without UTD). Mata is the most unwanted 'supposed' high profile player since the inception of the transfer window. Since when were they reserve players who rotted on the bench?, if Gotze had fallen out of favour at Dortmund and wasn't required anymore then I'd understand the comparison.

You need to understand the psychology of it all.. The cold russian had to really swallow his pride to bring Mourinho back in the first place, because it means he was wrong. Mourinho decided not to 'cater' to our superstar or weaken his own vision for the club by doing so, because he had full control, like Ferguson at United.

Mourinho sold Mata himself by benching him, and because Roman has full faith in Mourinho, it's the player that leaves and not the manager. Player power is dead, there isn't a coach in charge either, we have a manager now and his decisions have consequences because he has the full backing of the club. Chelsea was a revolving door, a carousel for coaches, that era has ended.

Mata is the most unwanted man in football, people say he'd walk into any side, yet United (a club in termoil) have literally zero rival bids to deal with.

Who's actions?, what madness?, the two biggest mistakes made in the Roman era was sacking Mourinho and signing Torres. What's going on now isn't madness, we are selling a reserve player who doesn't fit into a system the greatest manager in our clubs history is implementing.
