Another angle of that Totti stunt.. Legend.
-
The branding should always be consistent. Apple don't release a new macbook with this on it..
-
New Monaco Away kit..
-
Hugh?, what do you mean by that.. Mata was on the road to becoming a Chelsea legend, but Mourinho proved he had all the power by selling him. Mourinho got rid of him, not the club, not the higher ups.
-
There is no protection from the 'higher-ups', Roman sold the back to back Chelsea player of the year because Mourinho didn't fancy him. It really is a very simple case with Torres.. no club in world football will match his wages.
-
We got £18m for KDB, who signed for £6.7m and had only been at the club for 2 years prior. Not to mention what Alex mentioned about the loan fees we received.. And what do you mean by 'youth academy'?, to have them at our academy isn't costing anything on the FFP books, it's excluded.
-
It's very new, no club has ever operated like this before, not on this scale. As Fernando has rightfully mentioned, those Porto & Ajax players were part of the team and grew within the first eleven. The difference is that we stockpile youths, who are Chelsea players by 'technicality only', the numbers don't lie. It's clearly a ploy, as madmax mentioned we had to find some way to combat FFP, and this was it.
-
It has nothing to do with transfer fees or clubs wanting him, it has everything to do with the substantially high wages he earns as a Chelsea player. It's the Torres situation, on a lesser scale.
-
Similar situation with Torres, his wages are too high, he won't take a pay cut.

PSG's 'Rumoured' 3rd kit..
-
PSG away kit.. Nike are great at 'presenting' the shirt with glossy pics, but when you see them up close they don't look so great. They've gone for red shorts, which look a bit out of place..
-
On paper it looks good.. but not really, we'd still have the same problems with Mata in a Mourinho system.
-
What the fuck do you expect him to say?, he's shit.. I wish there was a club able to match his wage demands? Jose is being diplomatic.
-
^ I always remember what Gary Lineker said in regards to this... Every young player thinks they are the exception to the rule, they needed that self believe to make it in the first place.
-
'Chelsea' hasn't even entered the lexicon of the FFP regulators.
-
Stockpiling talent on the fringes of the squad - putting them in the shop window through loans - selling them for profit The club sent 27 players on loan last season (no club has ever operated on that scale!), only 9/27 made an appearance for us. If you break down the actual youth products and highly rated youths we’ve signed, the numbers could never add up, these guys are Chelsea players by technicality only. Bertrand Traore, Christian Atsu, Mario Pasalic, Cristian Cuevas are one successful loan away from making us a substantial profit. Have we found a niche?, are we going to start seeing City, United etc following our blueprint?, is this the FFP killer..
-
£28m... fuck me, great bit of business.

There are quality tiers in regards to attackers, how far they will get career wise. You compare Adebayor & Drogba's career and there is a stark contrast, for example. Some players, whether it's attitude or ability, you just know what tier they will slot in. Like Adebayor, he doesn't slot into a top club, Everton is about Lukaku's level and the ceciling isn't that high.

Is There One Big Signing Left In Us?
Term-X replied to Special Juan's topic in Matthew Harding Stand
Nah, nothing reliable from them, Sirigu is a top keeper, kept a clean sheet for 775 minutes, a PSG record breaker. Monaco however, that's different, from the moment Alves failed his medical they will have had their eyes on Cech's situation. -
Good move from Costa, clap louder than your singing.

PSG are not in the market for a keeper, Sirigu is the main man over there, no problems in that area. Monaco are the club who are looking for a keeper, they signed Victor Valdes but he failed the medical. -
In the grand scheme of things, 'status wise'... he'll be in that Adebayor-category, in terms of his level, nothing more than that. The fact the club are letting him go to a domestic club, shows how much confidence they have in this decision, otherwise we'd push for the lower bid from Wolfsberg.
