  1. I'd go with that, although theyre a lot better than last time we played them and we're slightly worse.
  2. Actually I cant even comment on this one because I couldnt fit enough F's on the page.
  3. Our result was only marginally better against QPR and that wasnt because we were the better side on the day either, thats what worries me. Everton are a good side, Moyes knows how to play us whereas Grant's pretty clueless on the tactics front. It doesnt bode well.
  4. Yeah Alex has settled really well, we're certainly not in the same sort of position we were in last season with JT out so he can afford to make sure he's fully fit before he comes back.
  5. He's done himself no favours in the past trying to be superman and he's got to realise no-one's invincible. Thinking back, its pretty unprofessional really and it takes its toll in the end. Hopefully Grant won't pull any more ridiculous stunts playing unfit players just because he hasnt got a clue how to adapt to injury situations.
  6. Im undecided between 0-0 and 0-1, just havent been confident about this one since the draw.
  7. Free? The way he's played, they shouldve paid us to take him ffs.
  8. Gotta wonder what Jose ever saw in Ben Haim, he's seriously shit.
  9. We know Grant's shit, but someone would have to tell him this sort of thing would be managerial suicide surely? Not only a decent and much needed LB who'd walk into any first team in the country but the idea of letting him go the that bunch of tossers as well? Couldn't happen.
  10. Couldnt see Berbatov coming. Great player but I think Anelka would do better out of the two for us.
  11. Grant couldnt read a Ladybird book never mind the riot act ffs.
  12. And you Mike. I still aint had one.
  13. Well, well, what a surprise. Someone else does all the work while the retard does sweet fuck all and then reaps the credit for it. What a totally spineless shithead he is. Just when I thought I couldnt hate the saggy necked twat any more than I already do yet another 'revelation' hits the headlines to ridicule the club even more. If we dont get rid soon I'd be sorely tempted to shove a cone up his arse and kick him into next week myself.
  14. These stories about players declaring undying loyalty to the club and supporters are usually the kiss of death for a player, but that aside I wouldnt blame Frank if he wanted to move on. He's got a shit manager he never banked on having and a country full of absolute arseholes ready to hang him for daring to breath the same air. Besides, he still hasnt signed a new deal.............is Roman even planning to offer him what he wants? Letting Frank walk wouldnt be the first bad decision he's made would it?
  15. Hows that going? Im still off them but had to go and get patches yesterday because I was struggling a bit.
  16. Maybe we'll get to see how well we do without Lampard after the summer because I for one think he'll be going.
  17. Hope you all do yourselves proud and get plastered. I know I will. Happy 2008 all, hope it treats you well.
  18. Absolutely nail on head there. Not quite so sure about this bit anymore. Ok, they still battle but is it as convincing? Do they still look as solid as a unit? I think its slowly slipping away tbh. When Jose was around we played from the back, not sexy but bloody effective and the players knew what his expectations of them were. As long as we were sorted defensively we could play the game from there as a unit - and it worked. Now though, theyre being asked to play in a totally different way by a manager who clearly has no idea how to implement that change so the result is a defense thats losing its solidity, an attack thats nowhere near potent enough and a confused midfield. In short, our play reflects our manager - "dont know what you're doing" - ring any bells?
