Discipline has been a problem for a while now and its getting worse. The players seem to be constantly losing their heads and that smacks of a lack of good leadership to me. With the injuries we have already the last thing we can afford is to lose players like this. Carvalho has let himself and everyone else down here and there really is no defence for that.

I have a good feeling about Ballack this season so I hope he really is going to repay Chelsea's faith in him.

Considering both Carvalho and JT are hard acts to follow I think Alex has done a pretty good job covering for one or the other of them. Hardly surprising he's a bit slow, he's a bloody big lad but he's improved as the season's gone on and I'm a lot happier to see him covering than anyone else.......after all Ben Haim hardly inspires confidence does he?

Hmmmmm. Let's hope he hasn't got a reason to change his mind at the end of the season.

Terry and Carvalho injury saga aint ideal granted, but Alex has done a good job imo. The foul on Cech didnt look too bad so i wouldnt expect him to be out long really. And the mancs and gooners both getting away with injuries? you sure? How big a difference did RVP being out last season make to the gooners? and the mancs dont really suffer quite as much because they usually have a minimum of ten strikers anyway.................I wonder if they only pay Saha part-time?

Took us a long time to get going but played some decent football towards the end of the first half. Always a bloody nightmare to see Hilarious brought on, one decent save and the rest of the time doing a spectacularly close impression of sammy the seal. Looked like we were holding on at times in the second half but thats pretty much to be expected. Job done.
