Usually look out for Peterborough's result, watch most of AC Milan's live games as well but don't lose any sleep over either of them.

Wayne Bridge Or Ashley Cole 4 England Left Back Slot
misschief replied to oxfordblues's topic in Matthew Harding Stand
Bridge is a much better crosser of the ball and better offensively. Totally agree if you're looking at defensive play then Cole's better, he puts players like Ronaldo in his pocket. Not sure I've ever really accepted Cole though so my totally biased choice would be Bridge. -
Of course they put their own slant on it and colour it up a bit but he has to have made the odd comment to start with. If he hasnt said a word of what they print, I couldnt see either him or the club letting them continually get away with it.
-
He's had no luck really has he? Finally starts to get games, looks good and gets bloody injured. As sad as it is, Shevchenko and Chelsea just werent meant to be imo.

We all know what Drogba's done for us but ffs how many more times are we going to hear him talk to the press about his future without Chelsea? He's a Chelsea player atm, its us that pay his wages right now so we're what he should be talking about it anything. Don't think Anelka would have much sway tbh but I think he's spot on. I don't think Drogba will have what he's got now with anyone else. He wasn't confidently banging in the goals when he came to us (although I think his contribution at that time often went unrecognised) and to start with he was whingeing to the papers about wanting to leave because nobody loved him. He was given time and his manager's support and total belief, even to the point where the game was played around him - making him truly believe he is the centre of Chelsea's universe. In short, he was given everything he has now - money, adoring supporters, a much higher profile in football and an ego the size of a house. End result? He feels he's outgrown us.

Didnt kill your winter bug. Seem to have had a permanent cold for months with the odd fairly well week thrown in now and then. The germs you pick up in hospitals these days are shocking.
-
More realistic scenario for 2007: Jeffrey's mum phoned every five minutes to be told 1) her son's been placed in isolation 2) to come and get him because he's "too much trouble" 3) they shouldnt be expected to get to know him as an individual because "there's 30 other kids in the class y'know", so they'll just treat him as if he's a "bad child" 5) yes, they know they forced you to get him diagnosed against your better judgement but who cares? they'll just pretend he hasnt got the diagnosis now anyway 6) they wont tell you they have certain responsibilites because it costs them money and frankly, its too much hassle 7) they'd love to expel him because its the easy option and will threaten it at least once a week, just to keep your stress levels up. I remember those looks. Bloody shame the only response to that these days is either "whatever!" or hysterical laughter.
-
Is that because the usual suspects havent been playing?
-
Course I remember it and I remember thinking what an arrogant bunch of tossers they were. I'm not saying no-one else ever does it but its getting a bit too regular with us. Ok, we've had some shocking decisions and its hardly surprising players react but thats no excuse for doing it for every decision. I used to excuse it as player unity, fighting for each other, whatever, but Im not always so sure now. Its getting harder to complain about refs being anti-Chelsea when we keep giving them ammunition tbh. Thats not to say the FA aint arseholes because that goes without saying.
-
Well that's progress for you. More embarrassingly uncontrolled rants to look forward to - splendid.
-
Don't anyone actually think we have a bit of a discipline problem then?
-
Way too much info there. Im getting yet another bloody cold, really need to sort my immune system out.
-
Thank god he's injured then.
-
A Utd supporter was saying on another forum Vidic rates him highly and has been chewing Fergie's ear off to sign him.
-
Got as much football know-how as well apparently.

Potential 2007/8 Honours Update
misschief replied to Fulham Broadway's topic in Matthew Harding Stand
I know stranger things have happened but I really can't see the title going anywhere else but back to Utd. The luck Grants had has been unbelievable at times and just bloody funny at others, but the title's stretching it too far. I've a feeling we'll take second place because I can see the gooners dropping more points than us before the end of the season but thats as high as we'll get. Trophies............said from the start we'd win nothing this season. We are looking a lot better than we were for sure, but Im a stubborn bugger so I'll stick to my prediction and get a large spoon ready for that humble pie. -
If ever a club knew how to royally fuck up its Newcastle. The term "shit for brains" was clearly penned with them in mind. Shearer would be great, he's every bit as charismatic as Grant - and Gazza, the resident tourette, could do the post match interviews- fantastic stuff.
-
Agree with Ollie him and Duff were awesome to start with, mustve frightened defences shitless to have them running at them. But once he'd had an injury he turned into a right pussy and never got back what he had. In flashes yeah, but he was never consistently that good again. He could trip over a blade of grass and be out for weeks. And sulk? FFS he was like a petulant child, permanently needed a good kick up the arse imo. Dont even get me started on his dad. You'd think Robben was a 3 year old unable to make his own decisions the way his dad carries on. We did the right deal at the right time, their physio's bench is welcome.
-
I think Utd could definitely be on the cards in the future but Fergie's going nowhere atm. Liverpool in the summer? Possibilty if AC don't snap him up. Of course he owes us nothing but he does owe Roman a bloody good shafting. Is that his style? You bet your arse it is. It'd break a few hearts though, mine included.

Standing ovation for that man. Last bit sums it up perfectly. What he actually said - in front of the watching world I might add - when asked how he felt about closing the gap on Arsenal with them dropping points, was "Uhh?" Profound eh?
-
Personally I hope they get knocked out as quick as possible so they can get their arses back. Why is anyone bothered anyway? no-one gives a shit when its England - and the players dont even miss games for that.
-
Refs are consistent.............they make consistently shit decisions when it comes to Chelsea.
-
Its looking less and less likely he'll get the chance to score tbh, Anelka looked head and shoulders better than him today even in the short time he had and not yet having actually trained with us.
