  1. Fact is we'd strung a few surprise wins together and got giddy, so losing comes hard and trust me, no-one's more pissed off than me. But let's be honest, we were kidding ourselves werent we? Hand on heart we havent got enough in our squad to compete anymore. That performance tonight - against quite frankly a poorly performing City side (and thank fuck because on a good day they'd have embarrassed us) - shows us it wasnt about AVB or 'player power', its about an inadequate squad up against the United's, City's (and right now, even Arsenal). We've had a slow puncture for so long now we're lucky the wheels havent come off completely.
  2. As if I'd actually tell anyone what my rituals are before a game - they'd lose their power. Not that I'm remotely superstitious....
  3. Sturridge only got away with being selfish because Torres was quite the opposite. And how the hell was there not a thread all of its own celebrating Torres scoring?! Personally, I'm surprised I wasnt sectioned at SB - I was a complete basketcase
  4. When he managed Liverpool, I used to think Rafa had a bit of a screw loose but with the stuff he's coming out with now - knowing how much the vast majority at CFC would rather shove a poker up their arse than have him at SB - its apparent he genuinely is completely off his head.
  5. Cech was pissing me off a bit yesterday. Whether we were camped out in their half or not, I dont see a need for him to stroll quite so far out of his area - Stoke obviously picked up on it and could've scored with that lob late on. Bloody irritating
  6. We didnt wipe the floor with Stoke but I don't think we were shit today. We looked in control for the most part and I couldnt see us conceding at any point - and anyone who knows me would know I'm rarely confident.
  7. Looked almost too comfortable to me, so we got a bit casual. Stoke never offered any real threat and we've got a big game midweek so a fairly gentle game made sense. Be interested to see if it looks the same on MOTD. Oh and sod sitting in the tourist stand, drives me mad
  8. Worth a few extra beers before KO I reckon
  9. Surely RDM int daft enough to play Bosingwa?
  10. oh, oops. Looks like Europa League is just too tough for the Mancs
  11. Anyone read the crap in The Sun about RDM being hated more by the players than AVB? Embarrassingly desperate for a story
  12. I reckon that Messi is worth a punt - looks like he can play a bit
  13. We'd better win, this one's gonna cost me a fortune!
  14. Why would we even need to discuss new managers? Right now RDM is the manager, we should just put all our effort into supporting him in that role until the end of the season. We can think about whether or not we still need a new manager then
  15. So five live confronted Rafa with Chelsea's singalong tonight - penny doesnt appear to have dropped for him though so we'll have to hope Roman isnt as stupid
  16. I defy the press to pick fault with RDM. Classy, respectful and proper Chels! Stepped in perfectly tonight.
  17. Jim sent me into a cupboard a couple of years ago - he only let me back out last night. Miss me?
  18. I'll give you a clue - It's in the same paper who have splashed 'welcome to hell' all over their back pages tomorrow
  19. Deja vu - I'm sure last time I was here we were picking new managers.....and the time before that..... I hear Sven says he's game if we are
  20. There is, or at least there was some sort of connection between Chelsea, Rangers and Linfield - around Loyalism weren't it?
  21. Embarrassing anyone lowered themselves far enough to follow Citeh's example with the t-shirts nevermind to turn on a player whose shown nothing but respect for Chelsea. I'd hoped our supporters were better than that - obviously there's an element creeping in to the Bridge that clearly aren't. Great article.
