  1. You're right of course, they just prefer to be dominated.
  2. Thanks all. And getting paid well for it. You're a cheeky sod. They have to promote women because the men aint good enough.
  3. Of those linked in the press I'd say Ronaldinho is the one I really don't want to see at Chelsea.
  4. If he really needs that sort of money to persuade him to stay then I'd have to say he's more committed to his bank balance than the club.
  5. There's nothing in his statement that confirms he's staying. He's playing it safe just in case imo. Great player on his day but his attitude since Mourinho left has been appalling, just not the same player - in fact if anything, it was his mouth that did most of the work last season.
  6. Holy shit. Announcing it in the middle of the tournament's a bit off innit? Can only think its because no-one was willing to sign for us/sort out contracts until they knew who they'd be playing for.
  7. Hard to say really, moved away from London years ago so my accent's not pronounced now - unless Im drunk.
  8. Psychiatric nurse. Got a promotion from Senior Nurse Practitioner to Crisis Team Manager.
  9. I got a promotion today. Bit excitable so thought I'd share it with you.
  10. I wouldnt trust Scolari, seems to me he's just keeping us hanging anyway - similar situation to England - and look who they ended up with once Scolari messed them about then backed out.
  11. He's one of the players I'd really hate to see leave. Definitely our best CB.
  12. Cant believe him and his agent are still fighting this. Pair of tossers.
  13. But you wouldnt say the same about Empoli and Udinese and he turned both of them around big time.
  14. Gutted we let Hughes go to City but the more I look at what Spalletti's done, the more potential I think he's got.
  15. Roman's stepped it up from the cone man. I reckon they'll announce a new manager tomorrow - he's been interviewing the ground staff all day apparently.
  16. Mancini's a dick. Two of the titles he won buy default and he did his best to throw this years away. He's well known for falling out with the players constantly - there's no ego as big as his in the dressing room. Who wants his style of football anyway? I'd go for Hughes, think he'd make a right good job of it, in fact, the more Ive thought about it, the better I like the idea.
  17. Anelka had 'miss' written all over his face. But its not the fact he missed that was such a big deal, but more his attitude afterwards that really pissed me off.
  18. The only thing Terry spat at him was a bit of abuse, big deal. Tevez was looking for it. If there was even the slightest chance that JT did anything untoward you can bet your arse Utd wouldnt be playing it down.
  19. Whatever the rags have to say, Chelsea really needs to put the last 8 months behind them. Jose will always be an important part of our history, but he's history nonetheless. Its time to move on.
  20. Thank god the nightmare is finally over. His appointment should never have happened. Yeah things went better than I had imagined with him in charge but his appointment was one of the biggest farces in football. Lets move on.
  21. The officials were shocking last night, I wouldnt say they necessarily favoured either team but they couldnt even get the basics right. The fact that this was the CL final and they couldnt even tell a corner from a goal kick was a bloody joke. As for the game itself, instead of the cagey bore fest most expected, it ended up a really good advert for PL football. The player who surprised me the most was Ballack - its the sort of game he should have thrived in and he just didnt impose himself on it. As for Drogba - no surprise at all, he's treated the lot of us like mugs all season and doesn't deserve our support. The prick aint fit to wear the same shirt that JT would happily die to have on his back. And JT? fancy slipping over, the silly bugger! Obviously I'm kidding. I cried like a baby for a couple of hours, drank myself stupid then after 3 hours sleep, went to work still over the limit this morning. Roll on next season (with a new manager preferably).
  22. Well he's probably on a bloody good contract for doing sod all so its hardly surprising he's in no hurry to leave. We've persevered with him but he's too inconsistent and he's never gonna be the player we need him to be. Time to give up on him I reckon.
