Good point.

Its not even a case of us having to hope we dont win anything because the fact is, we just wont. As for the media, do they feel sorry for Grant? are they worried they'll get done for abuse of geriatrics? has his missus threatened to visit them? just don't get it really. Maybe the difference is Jose had a personality, he made the headlines every time he opened his mouth, Grant just makes a puddle of saliva when he opens his. What is there for them to write about? Grant's useless - thats hardly news is it? He'll get the sack - again, not exactly ground breaking is it? I can see the media going on the attack with some of our players instead though, lets face it, they're Jose's.

Of course players like Ben Haim, Sidwell, Pizarro have to go. Sadly Sheva just didnt get either the support or the luck and it aint gonna happen for him now so he's another. SWP has never been good enough imo, Jose worked his arse off to get him to fulfil his potential but he's inconsistent and downright sloppy on a bad day. Malouda, I dunno, looked good when Jose was around but for a player to lose his motivation as dramatically as him begs the question 'how much does he really care?' Just looks a complete pussy to me, talking of which.....Kalou. Just not strong enough and about as consistent as SWP, which really dont bode well. Ballack? think he's been a different player this season although looked a lot better before Lampard came back. One dreadful performance against Barnsley wouldnt change my mind. Would imagine Lampard and Drogba will do the off as well, so could be a 'new look' Chelsea next season. But first to go has to be The Clueless One, at least we're all agreed on that now.

Absolutely, Jose did something very special - faults and all he remains the best manager we've ever had - sadly Grant's slowly dismantled all the hard work Jose put in and thats reflected not only in recent poor form and embarrassing results but also in the players faces and body language. The 'team' who never knew when they were beaten, now look a shadow of their former selves. Whether that 'team' still exists and can be resurrected will be down to Roman. Either he appoints someone who knows how to really manage a squad in our position or we'll be losing a lot more than just the odd FA cup tie.
-
Are you kidding me? limited transfer fee? How much money did he spend before Roman tightened the purse strings?
-
Cant have it both ways. Roman was slated for not handing over money in January so he cant be slated when he sanctions transfers as well. Fact is, Jose was not a master in the transfer market, bought us some talent, no question there, but my god he bought us a lot of shit in his time as well. Was it just Roman who put his foot down over Alves or was that agreed? they were trying to take the right royal piss out of us over him and we had to have a cut off point. Belletti was by no means Jose's worst decision. Someone said to me the other day that Jose inherited a much better squad than Grant and I think Id have to agree with that overall, but the fact is, it doesnt really matter - Grant is not good enough. FACT. As for Roman, it would seem he wouldnt know a good manager if he was bitten on the arse by one.
-
Agree with most of that, but to be fair it isnt just about what happened to Chelsea is it? that was football all over really. Thatcher did everything possible to take the passion out of the game and without the passion, you lose the hardcore fans. Yeah ok, the crowd trouble wasnt to her taste, but thats because supporters used to give a shit - take that out of the equation and what does it leave us with? Bland, sanitised grounds full of bland, unemotional fuckwits.
-
Tbh, it'd take a very brave man to tell Keane what to do, lol. Seriously though, Im not gonna get all romantic about Jose - he wasnt perfect, particularly in the transfer market, but then in comparison to a few of the better managers he was relatively new to it and has time to perfect that. In terms of motivation and man management though, he was up there with the best of them. We need that again, we need a manager with those skills and we need him to be left alone to do his job. Roman needs to step back and remember he's the owner, nothing more, and if he hasnt sussed yet that his money doesnt qualify him to do anything else but own the club, then he never will and we better get used to what we're feeling right now.
-
I'll never despise Chelsea but I really dont like what we seem to stand for right now. For all the good Roman's money has done us, things have never been the same and they just seem to keep getting worse.
-
Why the fuck has he not been sacked yet? Are we really expected to suffer the indignity of that twat dragging us down even further before Roman rectifies the howler most of us knew he was making at the time? I dont expect us to replace him straight away (although I hear the tea lady's up for it), lets just leave Clarke and Ten Cate to salvage whatever they can for now and appoint someone worthy of managing the squad in the summer.
-
Yeah thanks for giving everyone the opportunity to take the piss out of us again!
-
But surely thats the whole point, why piss about with the squad in a quarter and a final? Suicidal management.
-
Preferably with a 12-bore.
-
Not from the minute he paid it into the account it wasnt. It was said at the time it would not need to be returned, his way of showing committment apparently. Then he went and got us Grant just to prove he'd got a sense of humour too.
-
Its got nothing to do with bottle and everything to do with being obsessed to the point of being deranged. Either he's sacked tonight or them death threats are going to start looking a whole lot more rational by tomorrow morning. If I'm forced to go to work with a hangover tomorrow and that twat is still in charge, it'll be me thats sectioned, I swear.
-
As painful as it is, Im actually watching SSN in the vain hope that his departure is announced.
-
Why all the changes? because he didnt respect the opposition? didnt respect the cup? didnt have a bloody clue? By all means rest players, but whats wrong with having them on the bench just in case? What exactly was his plan B? Pizarro again? do me a bloody favour, I could do better than him in my wellies. And yeah of course the players have to look at themselves, they didnt perform yet again, but lets be fair here, it must be bloody hard playing for a manager who constantly pisses about with the side, hasnt got a clue who to play in what position never mind what bloody game and is about as motivating as a bout of depression.
-
I'd like to apply some pressure right now...............to his head with a bloody great crowbar.
-
The only way I can accept that defeat is if Grant is sacked tonight. Sod waiting til the end of the season, the season's over for us anyway - just let Ten Cate and Clarke see it out now and save us any more shame. And if anyone says "we're still in two competitions" I swear I'll lose my fucking mind. We couldnt win the Conference League right now never mind the Champions League.
-
Grants taking the right piss if he thinks thats acceptable. And as for the Russian twat, let Jose go so we could lose out to Spurs then Barnsley ffs? Fuck right off. The club is being turned into a bigger joke everyday and we have to suffer the consequences. Totally sick of this.
-
An in form Drogba??? You sure? He looks lazy and disinterested to me.
-
He'll send them all out with machete's then? You can rely on Mourinho to be as subtle and understated as ever. The man's just one of the true character's in management and the PL is a much poorer place without him. Can't wait to see him back and wish him only the best but I have a feeling his next job will be much more of a test for him.
-
Its not you, hasnt looked like his heart's in it lately. Really aint impressing again tonight either.
-
Bloody right, it was 25 degrees this weekend, great stuff. Probably not the best season to have joined Milan though, struggling to even qualify for CL football next season.
-
LMFAO I'll just shut up about Kalou shall I?
