As long as we dont take our foot off in the second half we're looking comfortable for the win. Still never understand playing Ferreira ahead of Belletti and Kalou winds me right up, but apart from that its all good.

I'm surprised Terry hasn't approached Grant if everyone's that unhappy - then again, maybe he already has?
-
It needs to be someone who's used to handling big ego's - Rijkaard is one who doesnt seem to be going away. Can't stand him personally but right now I'd be prepared to put up with him - and I really can't believe I'm saying that. Hiddink's another possible. Another one out of a job in May will be Ancelotti, but I just can't see him fancying Chelsea somehow. And then of course Rafa'll be available as well...... What will become of the Clueless One? he'll go back to shuffling.........cones.
-
He says he was doing it to show support for his brother - like his brother would have the Everton game on live in his cell? Big mistake publicly backing him up for something like that, complete twat.

Went to Milan v Lazio on Saturday night and he was one of the few to play from the first team. Definitely stands out as a player with massive potential. In that game though, he was a little like the old Ronaldo - too many of the tricks and stuff that didnt come off, but he'll learn when not to do it in time. Great player to watch and they absolutely love him over there already, there's Pato gear everywhere you look. Mourinho was very keen to sign him, think he got pretty close at one stage but the minute Milan waded in Pato was only ever going to sign for one club.

Is no-one going to question the players here at all? Don't get me wrong, I really can't stand Grant and its clearer everyday he hasnt got the first idea how to manage a squad of players. But shouldn't we be just a little worried that some of them are starting to think they're bigger than the club? If they've got concerns about the manager, is holding meetings of their own the right way to go about it? He's the manager whether they like it or not and surely the way to change that is to approach Roman? They cant run the club on their own no matter how they feel.
-
There's more chance of me managing Chelsea next season than Grant. Roman's made some really bad decisions but he wont make the mistake of believing he can do anything other than appoint a replacement in the summer imo.
-
I don't believe he's really bothered about any serious threat from us, he's a seasoned pro and knows full well Grant's no match for him. Grant hasn't got the experience or the bottle for this, plus his job's under threat and Fergie's just piling on enough pressure to make sure. The other side of that is, by counting Arsenal out and saying he's more worried about us, he's winding up his nearest serious rival into the bargain.

Chelsea To Contest Lampard Red Card
misschief replied to PaulHopkins's topic in Matthew Harding Stand
Once the ref admitted he was wrong the FA had no choice but to rescind it. I was away at the weekend so didnt see the incident but having watched it earlier today I couldnt believe he was sent off in the first place. The card was a bloody joke and for a change justice has been done. First time for everything I guess. -
Chelsea Owner Abramovich Backing Grant
misschief replied to love cfc's topic in Matthew Harding Stand
I remember when Mourinho's job wasn't in immediate jeopardy - he'd just won a couple of trophies. No worries for Grant then. -
I wouldnt say we've looked exciting this season but its obvious things started to go wrong as soon as Grant had choices to make. Up until that point, injuries and then ACON meant the team pretty much picked itself. The minute he has everyone available, we get to see the real Grant - a clueless fuckwit who really hasn't got the first idea how to pick his nose nevermind a first eleven.
-
Yeah, except we didnt exactly overwhelm the significantly Olympiacos last time out. I'm not saying we wont beat them in the return, but there's a lot better than them who won't just sit back and defend. And as soon as we meet Utd in the FA Cup that'll put an end to that cup.
-
Why shouldn't the press have an opinion? He didnt deliver the sexy, attacking football he was supposedly going to this season, he's clueless tactically, we lost against Spurs of all people in the CC, players are unsettled and unhappy and we're having punch ups in training. Didnt worry him when it was Jose's back they were on did it? What goes around comes around.
-
Realistically I dont think there's a chance of us winning anything now, regardless of what happens. Statistically yes, but realistically no. And as for the players still having the desire to win, even thats debatable now imo, looks more like they're just going through the motions and can't wait to see the end of this season tbh.

Abramovich Holds Another Crisis Meeting
misschief replied to Fulham Broadway's topic in Matthew Harding Stand
Of course. I like nothing more than having the piss taken out of me on a weekly basis, its character building. Y'know what? It didnt even take me that long to make my mind up about him. It wasn't really the mumbling and dribbling either, he just didnt look good in a suit. -
Abramovich Holds Another Crisis Meeting

Was talking about that on another forum. I agree if he's not gonna admit he made the mother of all cock ups putting Grant in charge then, for me, thats a sign he really doesnt give a shit less and he should call it a day in the football world. I mean, he's paid off our debts and put a few quid in the bank, so as long as there's an investor out there somewhere, would it really be such a bad thing? Not that Im not grateful for the money he's put in, but no-ones money can buy the sort of success he craves with decisions like that. Employing someone like Mourinho was a great business decision, because he started to see a decent return for his money. But I guess all that silverware got a bit boring and Jose's insistance on having a personality must've been tiresome. So in comes.........a geriatric, dribbling nobody. But hang on, the clueless, head scratching retard look must surely be a facade, because we were told he was the man to "take Chelsea forward". Isn't that what the very loyal and devoted Peter 'I love Utd' Kenyon told us? And of course good old Brucie backed him up. Both squirming with excitement.......well, I'll assume they were excited, they certainly looked a little uncomfortable in their seats at the time. And why wouldnt they be excited indeed? I mean we were trying something completely new to the PL, we were going to take the PL by storm with a brand new style of manager. Groundbreaking indeed. Just imagine how exciting the season ahead was going to be - a manager without even a clue, never mind the right qualifications was going to show the likes of Fergie and Wenger what sexy football was really about. And what about the players? How excited they must be as well. Not only do they get a great new 'leader' to listen to JT's team talks but their very own sparring partner for training sessions as well. Stroke of genius on the 'manager's' part introducing wrestling as part of the big game preparations. No wonder they needed a rest on Sunday after all that fun eh? Even the cleaner's happy these days.....no extra dusting required this year. Don't know what we're all moaning about really. -

If in doubt throw money at it eh? -
LMFAO. Oh dear god, its really come to that?
-
Can't make up my mind whether I think its embarrassing or just bloody funny. I'd have loved a ringside seat though. I guess we were warned about Ten Cate's temper at the start, so this isnt really so surprising. As long as it doesnt become too much of a regular occurrence it might not be such a bad thing. For a start it might sort out the attitude of any big time Charlie's and if nothing else, it shows Ten Cate's got a bit of fire in his belly - gotta be better than the mumbling retard dribbling his way through a training session.
-
You admit it was an accident, then say its unforgiveable, why? If it was an accident, there was no intent so there's not much he couldve done about it. The death threats are just pathetic, taking it way too far. He's got a broken leg, ffs get a grip.
-
I'm not sure its the transfer market thats the problem, I mean lets face it, even Jose wasnt the best at that. Then again, at least Jose had management skills to fall back on.
-
Y'know what? I mustve been half asleep or something when I posted that. Firstly, I dont actually remember posting that and secondly, its a terrible idea, my mother knows sod all about football............then again....
-
But its also come out that there was a lot of truth in the stories as well, there's no smoke without fire and all that. Its been on SSN all day as well and its yet to be denied by the club. Im not saying it hasnt been exaggerated, but something's happened for the story to break in the first place.
-
Didnt we all say the same thing about all the stories last year though?
