  1. Truth hurts. It still amazes me that the vast majority can't open their eyes to the fact that Roman and Kenyon arent god's gift to the footballing world tbh. We are in debt to the tune of over £500million, to one man - and that really isnt the safest position for any football club to be in. We were going out of business before Roman turned up and yet we didnt have anywhere near the size of debt we have now. United might well spend but they were a big enough club in their own right, having earned their money through football way before the Glazers turned up. Arsenal have certainly spent on a shiny new stadium but they'll make their money back eventually and they don't persist in throwing money around they dont actually have in the meantime. As for Liverpool, if their spending really rivalled ours, wouldn't the Barry deal have been done and dusted already? We might not be splashing as much cash in the transfer market the past couple of seasons, but we're still maintaining the same players - on ever increasing salaries, as all the 'new deals' are signed to keep the players at the club. Add to that the fact that whether we like it or not, these players are heading towards a less than desirable age group whilst we're paying £75,000 a week for younger players to play elsewhere, and you've got to start thinking there's better ways of doing business. As for Kenyon, he's got to be the slimiest, most arrogant, two-faced prick ever to get involved in the football world. From the minute he walked into Chelsea, our reputation hasnt stood a chance. I read an interview with Ranieri - Kenyon's first victim - apparently where Roman was concerned, Ranieri didnt have a problem yet the moment Kenyon's name was mentioned, the reporter reckoned Ranieri actually flinched at the mere mention of his name - and little wonder. Didn't he then break his arse to bring in Mourinho, only to stab him in the back as well? Hardly a surprise given he came to us off the back of stabbing United in the back anyway really. He'll think nothing of doing exactly the same thing to us. Oh, and someone shouldve pushed the fucker down them steps in Moscow imo.
  2. Yeh, that's what all the lads say about you. You bitch.
  3. I definitely thought it'd be an apology for making us endure a season of Grant.
  4. I'd like to see Robinho come to Chelsea, if only to stick two fingers up to that arsehole of a club now.
  5. Sounds like a really grounded young lad, hope he stays that way. Great to see the youngsters getting a chance.
  6. Lets be honest, Jose's last few signings were shite. No loss.
  7. They must feel like all their birthdays have come together after the dick they had to put up with last season.
  8. On a good day he's great on the pitch, its his attitude and negative effect off the pitch that bothers me. Its bad enough that he resorted to diving all over the place last season, but the disrespect he showed the club and supporters just grates too much.
  9. I really liked Ballack playing last season and his little dig at Drogba and Lampard put him even further up in my estimation. Do we want a player who seems to be doing everything he can NOT to commit to the club or would a player who's made it very clear he'd be proud to spend his last two years in football be better for morale?
  10. Whether or not he will give it all up in two years or not, we'll have to wait and see. I always admire players prepared to retire before they're completely past it though. Loved his dig about wanting a five year contract though. Class.
  11. Roman allowed us to become a much bigger club than we were. Mourinho turned us into a title winning club, amongst other things. Lets just wait and see what Scolari does before we give Mourinho any more credit than that eh?
  12. That's good because these 'old codger's' need a rest eh? Oh and I voted nobody because we should play 6 up front.
  13. Made me choke on my beer. I wouldn't say no to anything a bit less dross than Grant served. Fuck the CL, I don't want my heart broken again, title would be nice though.
  14. Carvalho? To be fair, Giggs and Scholes have all but been replaced and Neville didnt even see the ball last season. Out of our players, Sheva's the only first team doubt surely?
  15. Given his ridiculous demands, he clearly thinks he's worth more than anyone else at the club I'd say.
  16. Can you see us bringing in really good young players for realistic amounts of money once they know how much we pay our 30 year olds?
  17. They're not doing much of a job of running the club either if their policies and 'take it or leave it' stances are anything to go by. They need to stop letting players dictate their transfers for them before we go into free-fall. He can sell as many shirts as he likes, the longer Kenyon stays at the club, the more of these embarassing situations we're going to face.
  18. Spot on. He's got it coming and for the first season ever, I won't be defending him.
  19. Express: Im pretty disgusted at the club's lack of backbone over this if its true.
  20. I hope Frank Lampard has taken note of the fact Essien's happily agreed to play for us for a mere £80,000 a week!
