  1. Personally I think he would absolutely thrive in the PL in the right system, but I'm not sure that system is Chelsea's. Would probably score loads for City.
  2. I see years and years of pain ahead as long as he is here. Like Kalou, but without the goals - meaning he's completely useless. I just hope we don't suffer next season for having such a poor back-up player. Let's all hope Hazard/Willian stay fit...
  3. Not sure why so many are underrating him. He has a slightly better record in the PL than Bony (in a much poorer team) and if I remember correctly a lot on here were practically wetting themselves at the prospect of Bony replacing Drogba at the end of the season. He is way too good to play second fiddle though. He will not want to risk losing his place to Lukaku for Belgium, even though he naturally offers a lot more to a team.
  4. I know we probably have a better chance of signing both Bale and Pogba than getting shot of Cuadrado, but I can dream! I just think that we should have no weak areas next season and I think Cuadrado could really jeopardise our quality if Hazard, or even Willian, got injured. Think of 06/07, we couldn't retain it because JT was injured for nearly half the season and we had the brilliant Khalid Boulahrouz to step in. Not to mention Steve Sidwell...
  5. Full back: Clyne or Rodriguez (If the stories about Luis leaving are true) CB: Varane CM: Schneiderlin (if Koké or Pogba are unattainable, which they probably will be) ST: Bamford as 2nd choice. We will be champions next season and I think we need one marquee signing to solidify our position, but I don't think we'll get one of Bale/Pogba/Koké etc. due to FFP. The only way that will happen is if the PSG fools (who are more concerned about having a good team to market instead of a good team in general) come in for Oscar with a stupid offer. P.S. Out: Mikel if we get a new CM and Cuadrado - I've no hope for him I'm afraid. I would be ruthless and ship him out now before his uselessness negatively affects next season. Just imagine if Hazard got injured and we were left with that...
  6. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2771516/Chelsea-striker-Patrick-Bamford-turned-Harvard-chase-Premier-League-dream.html Was said at the start of the season. Hopefully it still hold true and we're waiting for him at least, just like Courtois!
  7. Jesus, just sell Cuadrado already. It couldn't get any worse for him
  8. Yes, all based on two videos of him dribbling past no one, getting dispossessed easily and passing sideways and backwards...hmmm, the bolded part is quite worrying though. At least there was a good chance of Schurrle scoring when he came of the bench. Right now: Bosingwa as a winger > Cuadrado.
  9. Officially my favourite José quote ever! Any more of a blatant dig at Pep he would've showed a picture of his face and laughed! How I love that man, he says everything we're thinking!
  10. Sadly, I think you're right...which is quite depressing!
  11. Just thinking after hearing Costa might not play again this season, we need a striker who is reliable and who is always fit and I do not think it is Remy (who I really like). It seems like whenever Costa is injured, he is injured also and we have to rely on a very aged Drogba. I think if we get an offer for Remy it should be seriously considered and put Bamford as our number 2. Hell, I would give Didier an extra year if it meant Bamford would be ahead of him. The boy was born to put the ball in the net and he's fit as a fiddle. Not to mention his fantastic attitude and the fact he can even play wide if push comes to shove. If he can't break into this Chelsea team, let's face it, neither will Solanke, Brown or any other future Chelsea prospects for that matter. It's about time we showed a little faith, especially to those who have proven themselves time and time again, at whatever level they've been put at.
  12. I've come to the conclusion in the past few weeks that I'm just going to put my neck on the line and, sadly, call him a big floppy stocking of s**t and that we've been completely mugged off on this one. It seems like he has the mentality of a youth player and just isn't cut out for adapting to a much tougher league. Not to mention the fact of his age and his record before hand is, let's face it, pretty stark average. Below average even. One good season in Serie A and a one good WC does not a good player make. Just look at Willian tonight for fuck sake, Cuadrado is currently a million miles away from that level. He couldn't be any further from him if he tried. I can see why there was talk of Mourinho wanting to bring back Moses before going for this guy. I hope I'm completely wrong, and everyone here has the right to shove it down my throat if I am, but the future looks bleak...
  13. Looks like Didier was told to wake up! Well done Brana and Didier!
  14. That's what you get when you 'play it safe' and start a pensioner.
  15. Cambiasso you old bald sack of fucking shit. Hazard better not be fucking injured you fucking cunt.
  16. How discouraging for them it must be to look and see that for the past 2 weeks and not even be on the bench...
  17. Blatant shite from Clattenburg. So obvious. I mean, the FA want to get the most out of the league as possible. Longer title race = more money. How they would love a Leicester win.
  18. Pattern so far: Build up a good bit of play. Falls to Didier. Momentum gone.
  19. Didier can't be here next season...not on the pitch at least.
  20. Hazard: More influential in matches overall.Effective in any system, not just counter-attack.Never gets injured.Younger.More goals than Bale this season - in a better league and weaker team.Literally just signed a new deal.Clearly this 'straight swap' talk is some sort of sick joke.
