Never seen so many poor passes from Cesc in the one match.
-
Cahill having a great game to be fair. Two big interceptions at goal now.

1970s afro wannabe wanker.

Brana getting murdered now by Shaw.
-
Excellent from Cahill there to win that head against mop head.

The player's confidence is shot. Asking them to play like this is like waving the white flag and being a man down before even kicking a ball. We need a contentious decision like this to get the crowd going and for the players to feed from it, because they certainly won't get any encouragement from José...AND IT WORKED!

And being allowed to roam into areas where our own DMs should be occupying...

Glad I'm watching it at home and not in public.

No matter how you want to look at it, playing like this at home is fucking bullshit. Do United have Ronaldo, Tevez and Rooney (in his prime) again? I know I wouldn't be happy if I was a fan who built up all those loyalty points to go to the game for the team to only set up like this.

Zouma in midfield = a big filthy draw. I never bet against Chelsea but I feel like putting my house on a draw.
-
Ha, good luck to them if them play Rooney in midfield. I fully expect Cesc to drop back and school him, but it is Mourinho after all...

We saw it last season against City away, which I still believe was our best performances under Mourinho. Pressed and harried for most of the match as soon as they entered our half, it was brilliant. Now this season it seems we have such a lazier attitude, relying on our new acquisitions to just scrape a win/hold for a draw, when in all honesty it's worse; we play as if it's 2011/12 all over again but without the belief. We were afraid a lot of the time in the two matches against City this season. The team has improved a lot since last season, so how does that work?! Strange.

Hahahahahaha, bye bye PSG! Where are all their stupid troll fans now I reckon? Hate Barca, but my dislike for PSG is fresher. Luiz at it again

Annoying because this is a game for Costa, not Stoke. If we had Costa, we would win; but because we don't and because we don't need to win, it will be a big fat draw (with Ramires and Willian starting).

Fair enough, but I would personally like to see more of him before writing him off completely, specifically in this team if possible. No one thought Kane was as good as he is when he was playing for Leicester or Norwich. A lot of the time I believe a player needs to right conditions to develop and shine; I do not think MVG has been given that sufficiently yet, so I can't write him off just yet.

Only seeing this response now for some reason. If you look at my comment again, I said nothing of me 'predicting' Matic's success; I am only questioning what makes you think that you can predict such a young player's trajectory? His grand total of 2 starts for us? His untimely injury? Or his time at a club who owe him nothing? If a young player has not been given a real chance in the team, then I do not know how you can just write him off like that. Remember, he was still a Mourinho buy at a time when we didn't have Matic and Lampard's Chelsea career was about to end...I would rather stick with @Barbara and be optimistic about the young lad. My comment about Matic only questions your reasoning behind your prediction, nothing else.

Another fucking CLANGER from a ref

I think we'll still win, but Remy's injury only exacerbates José's massive mistake last week by bringing on Costa. Hindsight is wonderful and all, but Costa is a need for the games against United, Arsenal and Liverpool, not so much at home to Stoke. So, so stupid.

I wouldn't be surprised if one went in off Rio's arse and he did a 'not shaking JT's hand' celebration. Wankers.

This will be me as well if it happens...but it will only be because I fucking despise QPR and their stupid fans. Sitting in their stupid little ratty stadium held up with sticks.

Looks at Traore. Looks at Cuadrado. Thinks of 26m....

I suppose it makes sense. If we're going for a Japanese player we may as well take the best prospect from the J-league and hope for the best.

There is a difference between aiming high and being realistic. Schneiderlin is a very good player and he is on a plate if we really want him. The reality behind ANY of those players you have listed joining Chelsea in the summer is about 20%, max. Pogba is too expensive, unless PSG come in with another stupid offer for the likes of Oscar to the tune of £40m+. We already tried for Koké last summer and he didn't come. Also, he's obviously very loyal to Atletico and seems to want to stay in Spain. Gundogan doesn't even seem to be on our radar, nor do German players leave the Bundesliga lightly. Not to mention the fact he has been pretty injury prone as of late.

I thought about that. But that's two reliable sources saying our scouts were at that game looking at him and Clyne. Combine that with José's comments about transfers, basically 'no one will come in unless someone is sold' and it's possible we may be debating restructuring our midfield; possibly into a midfield 3 through selling Oscar/Ramires. It would make sense. We all banked on José going for a 4-3-3 as soon as he arrived, but it seemed our overflowing AM department (which José basically got rid of) may have pushed him towards this 4-2-3-1, with Oscar is basically working more like a CM. Anyway, if we were in for Schneiderlin, a player who has been one of the best midfielders in the league this season and will cost quite a bit now, I would like to think we would want him in the first team.
