  1. Fun fact: The footballing god that is Stephen Quinn is my friend's uncle.
  2. Speaking of Mikel, is he injured? Is he being sold? Feels like months since we last saw him...
  3. Jesus, anyone else get jittery when José makes his negative subs near the end of games? It's like waving the white flag. Hoping for a calm end...
  4. OMFG I THINK I JUST HAD COURTO-RGASAM
  5. Not sure what else sub he could make to be fair...our only suber-sub Schurrle was sold...
  6. Maybe, just MAYBE, after the 5th or so set-piece that hasn't passed the first man, maybe the lads should try to aim for the BACK POST.
  7. Haha, Paul McShane, such a terrible defender...almost as bad as that Willian corner.
  8. Just give it to Hazard FFS, all the money spent and yet he is still our most influential player.
  9. Possibly a season defining 45mins, we still have United, Liverpool and Arsenal to play. José better get the hairdryer out and fuck it straight at the likes of Cahill and Ivanovic who need to fucking man-up or get the fuck off the pitch.
  10. Cahill is our weakest player psychologically; he gets so easily rattled. Beyond me why Mourinho favours him so bloody much.
  11. Ivanovic is a useless CB, he has no level of communication. Remember the horror shows when he and Luiz/Cahill played together? Or him fighting with Cech? He probably gave no warning to Tibo just now either. Laughable that people think he is some sort of leader.
  12. The first goal, Ivanovic was practically walked through.
  13. Cahill brain fart cancelled out by Courtois brilliance.
  14. Costa sticking it in the net...as usual.
  15. I wouldn't be so sure about that since José apparently wanted to bring back Moses instead of buying Cuadrado...it doesn't inspire much confidence.
  16. If we win the title, which we should, Hazard will be POTY. Costa should be up there by right, but he will never win a popularity contest. Aguero has dropped off, as well as Sanchez, Silva and Fabregas. Kane will be YPOTY regardless.
  17. Instead we bought Cuadrado for 26m...it doesn't inspire confidence if he wanted to bring Moses back before buying him (something I suggested).
  18. I understand your points about the signings and the pig-headedness from Mourinho regarding certain players; as I said, most of the blame lies with him. However, as for the highlighted part, I just cannot agree. If you put on the shirt, you should be giving it your best every second you are out there. If you think someone has an agenda against you, you go go out there and prove them wrong. Put on such a performance that it would be impossible for them to drop you. It should give motivation, even if its only fleeting. And if its still not working, then yes, by all means head for the exit; but at least go out fighting. I don't think KDB bothered and that I can't excuse.
  19. Sorry for only responding now, I couldn't yesterday. That bolded part is interesting because it was something similar to some things people were assuming here, but I suppose you would be in the best position to make that call. Is that general perception of Kevin in the Belgian media then? A bit stubborn?
  20. I agree...to an extent. KDB is not innocent in the whole story, but I do admit that about 70% of the fault lies with José and his dogmatic approach with some players like him, Mata etc. He made up from an early stage that he simply does not like a player and he seems to stick with it more often than not. However, the likes of Azpi and Zouma have fought their way into José's team... Saying that, it does not excuse KDB's atrocious performances against the likes of Brentford. I feel that KDB did not entire give 110% to actually fight for a place; instead, he thought he should be an automatic starter based on talent alone. Similar to Lukaku, but KDB has a lot more natural talent obviously. Maybe if KDB took some solace from Azpi fighting his way into Mourinho's plans he might still be here. Which brings me to Hazard. Hazard is peculiar because, essentially, he seemed to be the only one that Mourinho would tolerate no matter what, even if he would have a bad performance or not. I remember myself along with others calling for him to be dropped near the start of Mourinho's tenure, but Mourinho never did. Based on this, Mourinho seems to only have one place for a player like Hazard or KDB where he will tolerate them no matter what because he knows how good they can be. Or perhaps Mourinho was oblivious that KDB could be on the same level as Hazard. Either way, that part was Mourinho's failing. Not fighting for his place or giving 100% when picked was KDB's.
