I for one wanted the "old guard" out and new blood in, got my wish and could care less what Lamps does with his career choices.
-
All I ask is one good season, say the right things, then he can get his wish granted and sold next summer. He has the mindset of being the main man but sorry, Diego is the alpha who's going to be a nightmare for opponents this season.

I'd like to see Bamford, Chalobah and Baker join Omeruo at Boro under Karanka.
-
After enjoying seeing Boga, MVG and Baker play, it dawned on me that Mikel and Ramires are coming back. Shit. Ah well it's a nice preview of good things to come in the future tho.

Last season Jose said buying is done after Salah and Matic. Strictly speaking big names not youth players like Pasalic last season. I doubt he's lying. He wanted to get transfers out of the way and start sorting out squad players and if anything there will be nothing but loans and sales from here on till the deadline. Look how the club have progressed at eliminating debt to comply with FFP, you think they can generate enough sales to fund 60 million for Pogba or close to that for Cavani? Maybe they find a bargain out there but Jose spoke of building a team for the next decade and wants include 3 to 4 youth players in the squad and Terry even said a few will surprise people out there so I'm trusting Jose's words and let all the bullshit from the media fly to sell papers as far as I'm concerned ://www.theguardian.com/football/2014/jan/25/mourinho-chelsea-finished-january-transfer-window

Chelsea initially said according to Lukaku's agent that Romelu will not be loaned out, period. If a deal happens it's because Lukaku whined to leave and frankly he can piss off if that's the case and not another loan deal which means smart ass remarks all season long of how great he is, just sell him if he wants out rather than compete with Torres for minutes which by the way how fricking hard is that to do, to outplay Torres? If a bird landed on the pitch and for 90 minutes dodging players and flying all over the place, that's about what Torres brings. The bird won't score and neither will Torres!

Jose says 3 to 4 U-21's to make the first team squad. So it's worth watching for me to guess who they will be as the preseason drags on.
-
In his interview about the hiring of Lailin, Jose also put to bed rumors of Chelsea trying to hijack Khedira saying he's not interested in any Real players and no more to be discussed about it.
-
I'd prefer he take the loan opportunity and get more minutes and chances than Demba did as third choice striker.
-
He needs to come to the same realization Van Aanholt did and say "I'm done."
-
Congrats to Oriol. Hope he stays fit and has an excellent season. With Jose confirming no interest in Khedira that closes the door on that, so best of luck to him.
-
Khedira, Vidal, Pogba and recently Pastore, just fantasy football talk. Once Felipe Luis is announced officially, I believe business is done. Fabregas, Costa and Luis on top of where Chelsea finished last season despite holes in the squad, they will be incredible this season.

Probably sitting poolside with his legs wrapped in more of that horse placenta

Stan trolled by Chelsea fan on his radio show

A more defensive minded midfielder who has been compared to Matic. I'm in.

"We're treating me to try to play the final match of the Premier League, but I have to take care for the World Cup. We still have two very important games in the Premier League because Chelsea can be champions, but it is important to rest because the World Cup is here." ... Oscar told Globo Sport, last season.
-
Actually between Lukaku, Courtois, DeBruyne, and Hazard after the loss to Atletico, whining to the media, seems like a normal thing to do with some of these Belgian players.
-
I figured once his agent went on record to say the club had no plans to loan him out anymore, it meant he's returning. Never mind then....
-
One major problem is FFP, and Jose just can't go out there and get a bunch of super stars anymore, especially with the ridiculous transfer clauses out there.
-
I've been frustrated by him at times and I loved Mata, which is probably why I was against him as the #10. I think he's a better fit sitting deeper with Matic and Fabregas pushing forward. As for Oscar proving good enough to start over better players, aside from Hazard and Fabregas, the others have been just as frustrating at times so he's got as good a shot as anyone else to be counted upon by Mou.

Is splashing cash every four years on a left back really a concern for Roman? I'd rather go with Felipe than with a teenager who said Victor Moses is his toughest player to face.
-
From Kroos to now Pogba, the next silly season flavor of the month. If healthy, Marko Van Ginkel could impress this season and with a full season on loan, maybe next year Ruben Loftus-Cheek can make an impact alongside Matic.
