  1. So much better from Willian today, just a clean pass into the box for not one but two strikers to go after, not cutting into the area and looking confused. Clean and simple like his new hair just minus the rollers and plastic bag over it.
  2. Keep Moses in case Hazard falls apart again. Insurance policy.
  3. I think he could thrive in Serie A and pull a "Maicon" but he's not going anywhere at least until January.
  4. I respect Juan being upfront about wanting to leave. He didn't let his agent play games or ask Juve to bail him out. That makes it easier for the club to quickly get a deal done and ship him out.
  5. When this club was in the hunt for him, majority seemed all in. If he signs for the red bastards he's overrated and all hype. That's football for ya ?
  6. I'll gladly take Tomori, Aina, and Chalobah and ship off Mikel, Papy and Baba. Moses must stay and in regards to Loftus-Cheek he needs to go on loan and fight for a spot in another league. Terry should enjoy the preseason now because unfortunately I can't see him playing a big part this season, captain or not.
  7. He's 19 ffs. Some folks can be brutal. After last season's shitty signings like Falcao and Pato, he's welcome in my book.
  8. Hopefully Marc Overmars for Director is one of the summer signings. Along with Kante and Gabigol.
  9. Im sure Aitor Karanka wanted Kalas back and instead Emenalo sees to it that Kalas takes a step backwards and remain in the championship?
  10. Ake going down the Ryan Bertrand road. Frustrating to say the least.
  11. Hiddink hinted at the same unmotivated lineup yet again vs Liverpool and said he owed it to the two remaining opponents not to field a lineup made up of youth. ?
  12. I don't get the whole "physique" thing. Azpi is no bruiser. It's his intelligence that needs work. When grandpa Guus is in charge and the younger players aren't sure where they stand anymore, confidence can only go down the tubes at this point.
  13. Where's the matching pajama bottoms with lions? Slippers too I hope.
  14. As much a fan of Vidal I am, I can't see him moving yet again when he's gonna be playing CL football yet again next season with Bayern. I've seen Naingollan play as I have a soft spot for Roma and I wouldn't mind them both flanking Fab playing the Pirles role between them. Chelsea will have to overpay for both midfielders to come but it would be so worth it.
  15. Just for shits and giggles let Falcao start so he can do his best Fernando imitation of "well he ran up and down the pitch and worked hard despite not scoring any goals today."
  16. Conte: "I wasn't at Chelsea's training ground, I was working at the Federation." Matt Miazga: "It was great meeting Conte who introduced himself to us at training." I love this coach already.
  17. I hope Conte got the green light to bring in his own director. If he's being asked to come in and coach up "Babas, Hectors and Papys" thrown at him, he should pass on the job. The Pato signing was the icing on the cake that this club board is lost at sea.
  18. the combination of inept referees and FA and tabloid witch hunts would make it tough for anyone playing striker for Chelsea these days. Our players get the shit kicked out of them but if they try to show a spine and fight back they get suppressed because Chelsea are hated which is something I've grown to accept but I don't want Diego to change at all.
  19. Just put 10,000 coffee cups in front of the goal and he'll start scoring more frequently
  20. Since Pellegrini is prioritizing the upcoming CL match and fielding three to four teenagers I feel we should do the same. I wouldn't feel great watching a so called "strong" team against a weakened side pick up the win. Especially as shitty as the seniors have been. Undeserved actually. Put Kenedy over the "spoilt child" and give Miazga , Ruben and Traore a chance over some shit players for most of the season. Some of the seniors pissed away the season already so let them figure it out in the CL and leave the FA Cup and EPL to some more hungry players who want to impress and win and not think about their fucking selves for a change
  21. Many of the tabloids left out the parts of the interview where Eden says it's nice that other clubs want him but he's under contract and not going anywhere unless the club choose to sell. PSG are battling injuries like Chelsea and now have the whole Serge Aurier mess as a distraction. This is a huge opportunity to eliminate them so focus less on where Eden is going in the summer and get behind the club bouncing these scumbags out of the tournament!
  22. John has plenty to offer the club still but it comes down to either money or has he been a thorn in managers' sides behind the scenes. (Solo warm down after the Porto match for the cameras after losing his place, announcing the club ruined his "fairy tale" ending, etc) the man is shrewd and will do what's best for he and his family and I can't fault him for that but he's the reason Hiddink plays TWO defensive midfielders and the team settles for a low block scheme. I hope the board doesn't cave in to public pressure which is what John is banking on for a lucrative deal or just give the club the middle finger because he knows he can make double in China playing with Ramires. He's a club legend no doubt but it's a business and Chelsea FC not John Terry FC. You really want to watch a hero get burned and embarrassed next season and the next trying to play a high line? Or two defensive midfielders to cover his flaw in pace and sacrifice attack? No thanks.
  23. You don't need the Crystal Palace match or the Scubthorp tie to know that squad is improving but not to the levels of top four finish. They over achieved last year plain and simple. They played against a low down and out United team and settled to just sit back like a newly promoted team and absorb pressure. Sad state of affairs
  24. I think I read a stat somewhere that bar his first season with Chelsea, as in his second stint, Mourinho's teams never finished worse than third in goals scored. He "played ugly" because this shit team showed signs of this year last year and he tried to paper over the cracks. Yes he brought a lot of negative attention press-wise but it's because this squad sucks. Plain and simple. Hiddink dissapointed me by not starting Traore who played striker for Vitesse and instead went back to Hazard who did about as much as Schurrle did as a false 9 at Old Trafford. Hazard shouldn't have even played. He hurt his vagina and needs to have Real Madrid look after it.
  25. A draw was fair. Chelsea would've lost this game going down a goal. Hiddink has made a difference. Oscar was unlucky but that's been the theme: bad luck and shooting themselves in the foot. Hiddink even cracked a joke about it. Progress is being made and fair play to Watford they were impressive. They didn't give all the space in the world like Sunderland did and Chelsea responded miles better than the Leicester match being down.
