Would rather have him than fabregas IMO. More mobile, better set-piece taker, corner kick king, younger and cheaper wages than fabregas. And more importantly can put in a tackle in midfield.

I haven't seen a lot of games of alberto moreno, or ricardo rodriguez in person, but they seem reasonable options for the prices stated. That's a good thought. Only if we don't spend more than 20mil on luis though bcos I'm seeing rumours of 25mil, and then if we can get a cheaper long term option in 2-3 years time then this won't look bad.

Luis will be perfect for 2-3 years before he starts losing pace, and we have another aging cole in our team again. Theonlyplacetobe has explained that 3 years is longer than I think, like the time luiz has been here but it means we'll buy again that time. I just wish we can find another azpi, cheap, young, good value, but left footed.

Next season oscar will shock everyone. If we get our finisher and off the ball runner as our new striker up front, mourinho will reduce the defensive duties of the whole attack and we'll play far better in attack. I'll come back and quote this next season

I believe this is why the deal is delaying.Athletico was expecting us to take only costa in exchange for leaving courtois for one year with them, but it seems like we want to keep both. Thus athletico could really be trying to convince costa to stay if they are losing courtois anyway.

When I saw him in preseason, he was so good at tackling, it was ridiculous. Hope he's in jose's plans.

I don't know about him and pogba, but we lost a lot of goal sources this season because we were poor from corners and set pieces, especially against small teams that park the bus. We could have scored from a corner and opened them up. In fact I can only remember ivanovic and 2 terry goals from set pieces in the whole season in EPL. We need a koke level crosser in our team.
