Btw, I think this is the first time we're leading the championship after New Year since our title winning season 09/10

Well, I can't be sure how he'd fare under Jose, he might be something completely different than what we saw when he last played for us. Who knows? I'd rather save myself the embarrassment of us taking him back from Liverpool for 3 times the fee we sold him, so I don't want to find out

So, I'm not the only one who wasn't fully convinced by Oscar. Apparently Mata wasn't Jose's AM, because of the new system and whatever, but judging from his 1,70 seasons with us Oscar might not be the one as well. He was arguably the weakest link from our attacking trio last year, while he had his moments of brilliance early in the season, he was completely overshadowed by Mata and Hazard later on. You might say he was played on the wings back then, because his spot was fully occupied by Juan, but this year the CAM spot is all his and we still notice a similar trend. In the first couple of months he played well, but recently he doesn't look very good and is about to be benched even though he's the only natural CAM left in the team. Of course he's young, he might even go on to prove me in the next couple of weeks and that outlook can change in a flash. Hopefully he'll do that.

It will be quite the moment when our fans welcome him back to The Bridge.
-
Okay I have to admit he's doing pretty well and the Liverpool move has done wonders for him. Still not the right player for us though, he wasn't and he wouldn't be.
-
I don't think we're so rubbish in attack as people make it look like, at least not as rubbish as Liverpool's defense. We have scored 49 goals and there are only 3 teams with more (we're pretty much on par with Arsenal, they have only 3 goals more than us), while Liverpool have conceded 35 and in the top 10 only Newcastle have more. P.S: It feels good posting in a thread named "Title run in" and not in one called "Are we going to finish in the top 4" like it was the case last year. Worst thread ever!

Was just going to post that. If it isn't true it will certainly not be the first from the mirror, but who "nose".

Ugh, I guess I have to recognize l'pool as title contenders now, but it still feels unbelievable that a team with such crap defense has a chance. Their attack might be strong, but they're not going to score 4 goals every match and actually in their away games you can see their weaknesses at their worst.

So Tottenham pretty much are settled for another season in EL and while I find that funny as hell, it's a little disappointing that we'll most certainly have Liverpool return to CL football and their fans will be more annoying than ever.

Norwich missed a couple of fantastic chances to kill the game. Let's see what happens in the final minutes.
-
As JT said it wasn't our best performance, but we'll certainly take the three points. We should know by now that sometimes/most of the time football is not about performance, it's about results. Thank you, JT and Lamps! Next game, please

Nice win and a great day in terms of results. Arsenal were thrashed, City held and we're on top of the table! Hazard was exceptional and Matic bossed the midfield. Also very nice from Frank to give Eden a chance for his first EPL hat trick which he took. Just awesome

Take that double! Remember last year's tie when they completely dominated us. When they bullied us at the Etihad, when they beat us for the Community Shield, the FA Cup, hell even the two post season matches. Well, that's the difference that can come from the genius of the special one and they were lucky to get away with only one goal. I'm sleeping with a smile as wide as a mile tonight KTBFFH!
-
So if Frank appears in today's match, he'll become the second highest FA Cup appearance maker in Chelsea history with 58, which is six less than the current record holder Ron Harris

It's been an emotional couple of days, but we have a match today and it's time to move on and don't look back. We have a FA Cup to win. KTBFFH!

Happy Birthday, Jose! The manager, who made us what we are today. Never let him go again, Roman!

He's not making it any easier is he? With that kind of attitude he's won over so many people. The perfect guy to represent us with his skill and genuinely great personality, to achieve a legendary status with the club, but after leaving too early and now that he is a United player and a rival don't expect to see him in a Chelsea hall of fame...
-
Just at the end of last season he was on top of the world, having won the two European competitions, the FA Cup and Chelsea POTY award twice in his two full seasons here. Had someone told me we would lose him to United the following winter I'd have laughed in his face. And look at me now, sitting here, ready to start crying like a little girl

Remember this?

Just saw the City result online. Wtf are they doing?
-
So it's either a 4-3-3 with Lamps, Mikel and Matic in midfield with Andy and Willy behind Ba so Jose can rest both Eden and Oscar, or a 4-2-3-1, resting only one of them with the possibility of giving Salah his first start against WHU on Wednesday.

Just wait for the picture of him posing with the filthy red shirt and then updating his blog how happy he is for joining manure...
