Defense:I think that if Guardiola gives everyone a chance in training in order to see who is good enough for Chelsea,I think tht Christensen should have the potential to actually be a starter under Guardiola because basically he has everything what Guardiola asks from a defender.Agressive defending,very technically gifted and his build up play is brilliant. Terry and Ivanovic should be on the bench if Guardiola decides to come here.I am not so sure about Zouma either because he is not that skilled on the ball,but maybe his athleticism could impress Pep. Midfield: Guardiola would most likely get a heart attack when he sees that Matic slows down the ball too much,so Matic would be a liability for his system.I do not really know what he would do with Cesc,but Musonda should be a real prospect for him because like you said,Musonda has everything what Guardiola looks in a midfielder. Striker:I am very sure that he would need a top striker with brilliant technical skills,but I am not sure if there is a type of player that is on the market and has actually the profile of a Guardiola type of striker.

I do not think that Christensen needs Kompany size,but a little bit more muscle would not do him any harm.Training for at least one year will improve him immensely.If he gets similar size to Pepe or Ramos,he will have enough muscle.80 kg should be the minimum weight to reach for him in order to be a srong CB,but I am sure he can easily reach that if Chelsea has some good nutritionists etc.

Obviously,Matic does deserve to be criticized,but people have to keep in mind that players like Cesc and Ivanovic tend to lose very much balls and both of them are not able to defend. Matic is the man,who has to cover Iva and Cesc and that is not possible for any player. Of course,Matic makes weird passes sometimes and it seems that he can´t do anything with his right foot,but still,if he loses the ball,Cesc and the other players should be able to deal with that and win the ball back.Matic was never the man,who never misplaced passes.He always did them,but we in general were played much better football during the last 2 years,so it did not matter much because Willian or whoever won the ball immediately back again. Furthermore,people also forget that Matic played a good match against Arsenal,even when Arsenal had all men on the pitch.As a matter of fact,Matic played good due to the fact that Oscar was also winning his tackles,so he of course benefited from it.If Oscar could always perform like that,Matic would have a much easier job and he could concentrate more in doing what Matic does best and that is winning tackles,making intelligent passes and winning headers. Oscar seems to be a player,who never heard of the word consistency and Cesc,we all know it,can´t win tackles. The best possible formation for me would be a midfield of Cesc,RLC and Matic. Cesc would get his freedom back,RLC and Matic would be winning their tackles and both are capable of playing good passes.RLC is also a great dribbler and he is faster than both Matic and Cesc,so he could give us the speed in midfield and make some Yaya Toure bulldozer runs. Sadly,Mourinho sees RLC as a number 6 and Matic is in big trouble,while Iva can relax on his status as our new captain,leader,legend.

Yes,you both are right. The weird thing is that Mourinho yesterday mentioned that our players could have some attitude problems.We saw these attitude problems during the second part of the season and we still have these kind of problems.Instead of benching some players,Mou still gives them chances over and over again. Look at what Ramires did yesterday.He ran his socks off,tried to show how good he is and he delivered. Kenedy always tries to impress the coach,he always runs like a bigger version of Ramires,going into every duel he sees and he showed that he has desire for this club. RLC impressed everyone with his great runs,his tackles and his quick reading of the game and he showed that he wants to be in the starting line up. Instead of giving those 3 more chances,he gives Iva,Oscar,Hazard and Cesc more chances,which is unfair. These attitude problems could be fixed if those untouchable player sit some matches on the bench and see what younger players or players that love the club can do.Maybe,they change their minds,but Mourinho first has to change his mind by giving other players chances. Iva was the worst player against Walsall,why does he bring him against Newcastle. I do not get it.

That is not true.Look at the posts in the Ivanovic thread for instance.There is a lot of criticism about Ivanovics poor performances out there,but the main thing is that Mourinho always gives him more chances instead of benching him. Cesc and Oscar are not winning any tackles,so Matic has to win all of them,which is a bit unrealistic,if you ask me because he is no Son Goku. Sometimes,yes,he has his Son Goku performances,where he wins every tackle,but you can´t expect from him these kind of superhuman performances all the time. That is why a player like RLC,who is big and strong with a good technique would give Matic much more stability,but Mou will probably gibe Mikel more chances rather giving RLC chances.It is what is is

That is why RLC should have played against them.Matic and RLC would complement each other perfectely and we would have outmuscled them easily,but Mou still sees a baby in RLC,even though RLC is one of the strongest players we have in our squad.Mentally,he is also ready.

Actually,changing some names would change a lot.Let me tell you why.If you look at our starting eleven,you clearly see that we have one right back playing on the left side and a centre back playing as a right back. Azpilicueta is still our best defender.He knows how to defend fast players and he shows week and week out that he defends attackers from crossing the ball to the penalty box. Iva can´t defend that.I know you rate him highly,but let´s be honest,every player that comes from the left side,will cross into the box because Iva can´t defend that. That´s why it is so important to have some modern fullbacks. Just bench Iva and if Mou loves Iva so much,play him as a CB.Maybe he plays better there.I highly doubt that,but maybe he really does. If that somehow happens,we will have two modern fullbacks playing on our side. Azpi switches to his natural side and Baba comes in,who is just brilliant when going forward because he actually can cross the ball into the box. Moreover,this means that players like Hazard and Pedro will have much more freedom to create something and our play would benefit from is so much. Today,I watched Barcelona playing an average team.I saw that Jordi Alba,who is the best or second best LB at going forward(mayba Alaba is better),was injured and Adriano replaced him.Adriano was very poor at going forward and Neymar played horrible because he had to face always three players.Not an easy job,if you ask me.Hazard has the same problem with Azpi.The only difference is that Hazard always has this problem,while Neymar only had it today. The funny thing though was that Barca playerd very good from the right side.Why was that?Sergi Roberto played brilliant football as a right back and Munir and him played very well together,which created a lot of space and as a result of that,many chances. On the left side,there was no sign of modern football,but on the right side,we saw some quality football,which shows the importance of actually having some modern fullbacks. Chelsea is the only club I know that does not have modern fullbacks. Changing one player would immediately improve our game.Just one. Me personally,I would also bench Oscar and replace him with RLC,who always has his good games and if Mou refuses to give him his chance,just play Rami,because he at least gives always his best.
