Cahill is getting so humiliated by mane

Oscar with one of his worst performances even for his standards. hope cuadrado comes on for him.

we are so fuckin shit in defense.

#After starting the season brightly Matic has become a passenger with late tackling. the penalty is testament to that.

boring is good. So Jose can give some youth players time on the pitch. Shame we did not beat PSG, could have concentrated on the CL now. Anyway, that a decent but nowhere near great Chelsea side can win the epl title in march tells at least as much about the quality of the league as the early european exits.

We can allow ourselves 5 draws in 11 matches now and City still would have no sniff at the title, even if they win all their remaining matches. I hope we don't get complacent though. Last season we lost the league because we could not accept the gifts pool and shitty were giving us

There is no need to be objective here. btw. win our 2 matches in hand and the title is ours.

10 mins played and burnely should have had 2 penalties already. So far they have dominated city. A bit wasteful though.

This guy is such a clown. As if he will ever play for us. Never was an option for us. We just wanted to balance out or options but no serious interest. Only he himself believed that.

Robbery are aging, on a slow but certain decline. I always wondered who they are gonna replace them with. But I don't think either Real or Madrid will sign Sterling as of yet. IMO he will move within England. Why not try a bid ourselves. His contract runs till 2017 and he is at the age of 20 already better than most of our attacking mids.

played 2 great matches against us but should have been sent off in boht. Also he looks like Samir Nasir's lesbian partner. Probably too small to play the hard man every game.

But but but but but Coutinho can't tackle and does not track the goalkeeper I am not a fan of either Oscar or Willian, but to say that they lack skill is not fair IMO. Willian's ball control is immaculate. Both are capable of backheel assists and exceptional strikes and all that fancy bullshit you expect from Brazilians. They just don't do it effectively and on a consistent basis. They lack the determination and grit to impose themselves on a game, even if they have shown they can on occasions. We somehow appear to draw the tooth from flashy players by having them work hard and defend instead of giving them attacking freedom. And rightly so. Nothing Willian or Oscar have ever done would warrant a team like Chelsea to play around them. But my question is why buy them in the first place? I always was against signing either of Willian or Oscar because i have never seen anything special in them. In the last 2 years, we splashed out more than 100m on some of those average/decent attacking mids you find all over world football Eriksen, Roberto Firmino, Coutinho, Cazorla, Pedro, Callejon, Candreva, Walcott etc. That is what you can buy for 30m nowadays. Some might come out and say "what those players are much better than Oscar/Willian". Sure stick them into our system having to clean up for Fabregas and Ivanovic and they will look as shit as them. What we need is either players who are so good they are defend for their lives and still score/assist loads or simply have our defenders do their job so we can afford attackers with an actual offensive output. Those 100m+ on average AMs like Schürrle, Willian, Oscar, Cuadrdado should as well have been spent on some "defensive wingers" who might not have the skills of Willan but as much offensive output and defensive workrate like Milner e.g. and some actual quality players who get shit done. Reus and Alexis Sanchez for example. Both don't really have that much of a superior technique compared to Oscar/willian but they use it more adventurous. When willian dribbles he shifts in right, left, right again and then passes back to ivanovic. Also Oscar is usually to afraid to take on a player and when he has to he usually shits himself and makes a turnover. Reus, Alexis both produce at least as many turnovers or wasted shots as our dynamic duo but they actually try and whenever they fail they try again. When Willian tries a shot he usually rolls it straight at the goalkeeper with the inside of his boot instead putting his foot through it. Both have shown that they can take on players and score great goals but they just lack the attitude to fulfill their potential. IMO it is the coach's job to instill hunger and believe into players instead of making them willing watch dogs. But it is also the players fault of being tamed and castratedd by a few tactical instructions

I would like all players who fucked up yesterday to be benched. I know I am dreaming but I'd love to see a team freshened up with some youth players. --------Courtois-------- Azpi--Zouma-JT--Luis ------Matic--Ake------- Cuadrado-RLC--Hazard -------------Remy---------- That team looks competent and has flair. IMO Remy will be an upgrade on Costa on current form. Also given that Fabregas never really performs in the 2nd part of the season, we should have a plan B. Obviously that plan B is not Ramires. RLC and Ake are both quick and strong enough to cope with the physical challenge of the EPL.

thanks for your assessment . I like your optimism regarding transfers. Also I agree that Koke would be a nice option given he has the same if not higher workrate as Osar whilst at the same time being much more of a threat with his set pieces, creativity and superior technique. As a connoisseur of Spanish football, how much do you reckon Koke would cost us?

Diego Costa has not been sent off for 6 years. He is much more clever in his aggressiveness than people give him credit for. When he pushed marquinhos to the ground he did so knowing the ref had already turned his back. I worry much more about his goals record than his aggression. He always seems to be out of control, but he seldom commits violent conduct or dangerous fouls. Those actions just get more attention when committed by him because he is a dirty thug, but being a thug is not against the rules.

Thinking the same. I got no problems with a bit of bus parking and counter attacking. But if we want to do so why not set up for this. Play a compact, counter-oriented system like last season vs Mancity away in the league. apart from the dismal finishing, that was a blueprint of modern football. pace, power and lightning transition. After the arrivals of Remy and Cuadrado we are even better equipped for that. My theory is that mourinho does not even want us to look like parking the bus all the fuckin time, but it is more of a necessity. OUr defense is rather slow and immobile hence playing deep hence our midfielders keep tracking back all the way hence our attacks start from too deep with too knackered players and the opposition have time to defend. When was the last time we actually scored from a counter attack? we have a defender who can't defend (ivanovic) but is ok at attacking who needs to be covered by an attacker who can't attack. This alone would be kafkaesque enough. But it goes further. Our so called no.10 is more of a disguised DM who has to cover for the real no10 playing at DM because he needs spaceor the game in front of him or whatever. That leaves our only two players with the license and ability to actually score, Costa and Hazard. My take is that we should simply get some Chelsea quality defenders in so our attackers can actually attack instead of spending the whole match defending around the corner flag to cover up for some defensively inept full- and centrebacks.

Yup. was shit today once again. and yes, still a great player. If he is a big game choker or simply not fitted to the approach - I leave that to you. But I don't care. He has done his job of flat-track bullying us towards the league title which is exactly what he was bought for. We are shit at parking the bus anyway with Fabregas or without him.The way we defend leaving holes everyhwere, defenders running into each others at corners... we could as well have a backline of mata, giovinco and mauri. FAbregas is surely not to blame. The very great players though don't need such excuses. They perform even when the game is not made for them, they make them game theirs.

All this "credit to PSG" and "can focus on the league" stuff is fair enough. But come on. This is not a one off. We have been shit for the whole of 2015. Mostly we have been getting results against bad teams but against the better ones we have had more luck than competence. PSG were shit today. But we were worse. But at least they fought for it, we never did so. We had luck, the ref on our side against a 10 man psg. We had one week and a fully rested squad. We had 3 match points. still we blew it all. The players were walking not even trying. Sure there have been bad performances by the players. Some have been consistenyl poor (Oscar, Cahill), average (Willian) or inconsistent (Ramires, Costa, most of the bunch actually),even Terry has once again made some epic blunders in big matches (CAvani and Silva's goals). But Mou has to take some of the blame too. Why try to park the bus when we are obviously shit at it? The players looked completely umotivated, it is Mou's job to pump them up. Also is waiting for Hazard to create something out of nothing or wait for a set piece really the way to go? where are the runs, the movements which create space for the magic of fab&hazard to combine into? Sure no player seems to have resumed their early season form, but the tactics should enable them to do so. At least Hazard is still trying. The very sad thing is, today, fixing only one of these obvious problems would have sufficed for us to progress.

Mourinho himself said though. But I doubt it. From 2007 to 2009 there were 3 english teams in the champions league semifinal every year. The league was just as competitive as it is today. ONly twice have teams from uncompetitive leagues won the cl

over and out. we did not have the class nor the nerve and the killer instinct today.
-
we have been poor attacking all game, but our defense has let an awful PSG side trouble them. When the opposition score per set piece you have done something wrong.
-
a man of courtois's height should saved that. all he needs to do is jump. the goal is only fuckin 2,40m tall.
-
bye bye quarterfinal. what the fuck were our players marking?
-
must not let it go now. score another.

Drogba's moustache is the first thing worth watching in this game.
