Not at his best against PSG, but he has had to play without rest for a month now. sure. But in summer we have to look ahead. Terry is not getting any younger, neither are Ivanovic and Cahill. Our defence is not shit even though it often looks that way, especially in the big games, but it is still overrated by the media esp JT and Iva. JT needs to be given an extra year. Neither of our 3 senior defenders can still play as much as this season again. Not only does he deserve it bae, But keeping him is necessary to smoothen the transition. There are not exactly many experienced, world-class defender available atm however JTs continued presence will work wonders easing guys like Laporte or Stones into our defence. It is amazing how much JT, after having given everything to the club, has still to offer. He will be there for us whenever needed - unconditionally. People cal him a legend, but he is more than that. He is one of us.

which is exactly what we tried yesterday. Can work but Fabregas was not particularly in form yesterday. Also he is not exactly a big game player. Did not help that our DMs and defenders where unable to even get the ball to him. Maan our transitional play was shit yesterday. IMO he needs a bit more assistance. a proactive DB and a box-to-box midfielder with a better package than Ramires would be helpful. But I am sure Mourinho will identify someone to take that role.

There is no way in hell we would have conceded that goal. He might have been in an even worse position than Cahill, but his leap is so enormous he would have chested that cross down. On a different note the goal was Terry's fault as much as it was Cahill's. what the actual fuck was he doing there? Defending azpilicueta? Cahill stepped up too much, but when he does Terry has to cover the space Cahill leaves behind. He didn't.

the thing about our team is, we got as many average attackers who are ok at defending as we have average defenders who are ok at attacking. People call this balance. I'd actually rather take omfg scholes sounds like a retard.

When you want to park the bus you have to park it the right way. In a big games this season we are shit at attacking shit at defending, can't even park the bus nor complete one fuckin counter attack.

probably supporter was right. going with 5 defenders and hazard in the middle would have been better. we always are outnumbered on the wings.
