amazing assist by Jorginho as well. we just talked about him trying more long through balls adn bang he delivers. awesome guy.
-
Tammy is on fire. proper flat-track bully.
-
Utd only real strength is their strikers and they are only great when given space but jus tabove average in tight spaces. We completely bottled our tactics in that first game at OT to be killed by them on the counter.
-
It was a difficult chance. I remember Lamps himself scoring a similar chance vs black burn and ManCity in 2007 and 2010 respectively and it took his special tecnique of rolling the foot a bit above the ball to create topspin and prevent it from dragging wide
-
Lamps looking good in that navy tracksuit the best thing aobut the game so far^^
-
Usually i would not complain about this group but if you look at the groups the other english teams got then it is by far the hardest and least easy to predict
-
Very well balanced group. All sides about equally strong.
-
Great. Bullet dodged. And those games vs Ajax will be fun two young attacking sides going punch for punch
-
Thabk fuck. I wish he would resign from the national team anyway. Would prolong his career and he s won the wc already.
-
Agreed. Jorginho definitely has the technical ability to also have world class long-range passing and through balls. No one better than Lamps to teach him. I just wish he would be better at shooting, he basically would be our Kroos. But that I am afraid he just does not have in him.

Wishlist is Prague, Brugge, Donezk But i doubt we will be that lucky. Also the easiest way for getting CL next year is just winning the EL again. On the other hand what does getting into CL even bother you when you do not want to go through the group stage. Anyway, i am just happy we are back in the competition.

Dafuq. Way too early. We are just 3 games in the season, he has had one good game and 2 senior goals for us and still has a contract till 2022. Would be stupid to offer it to him already.
-
I am not quite sure. From the little i have seen from pepe in the PL I would say they are on a comparable technical level. good dribblers with lots of pace
-
Nah. He might be one of the better tempo dribblers behind Sane, Salah, Mane and Sterling. But technically in terms of touch and close control I would say David Silva, Bernardo Silva, Mahrez and maybe even Kovacic are better.

I like how Schalke, Nürnberg, Mainz and Hamburg outcast Choupo Mouting is PSGs best player.
-
No for a joke release clause of 30m
-
Yup but what does he even offer as a backup? I mean there is nothing he is particularly good at nor is he defensively rounded enough. I dont mind him sticking around for homegrown quota. But he really has become kind of midfield William minus the toxic attitude. No effect on either end.
-
This is his 3rd season as a Chelsea player. He has not developed for 4 yeara now in his career or regressed if anything. If he does not make a breakthrough on the next 8 month we should sell him. Being english and shit he could well bring 30m+. We could well use the cash to fund better players in positions we are not as stacked as in his.

I agree. Rows, overhead press and scapula raises work well. I would add pull ups and chin ups as well All of the above should be in every serious routine workout anyway in some capacity Reverse flies/face pulls work for some people who want some additional work I have never had any effect of direct neck/ trap work as in shrugs tho Add some stretching/mobility exercises and isometric gymnastics on a swiss ball to round it off. But it is also important to simply mind ones posture when walking around
-
All our tradirional wingers are quick enough I guess but Willian is just so poor, i rather have a player who has actual end product on that position. I agree you need a quick player either side. So you saw Emerson pushing high up the pich. He has got pace to burn albeit no end product as well he stretches play. We will be fine anywayonce CHO comes back. I think the wing positions for Lamps are more like no 10s. One always plays rather narrow and the fullbacks make the width.

Puts Zouma's error vs Manure in perspective. Torrid display from Luiz today but tbf did we expect anything different? we all know he has games like this every now and then and is not getting any younger. Still we should not make the same error as before and replace him accordingly as soon as we get the chance.
-
Spot on. Tammy was selected for that penalty because he is an experienced penalty taker. He failed miserably. To be fair, the penalty against the loss after everyone else has scored is by far the hardest penalty you can take in a shootout. I am still in the Tammy is not good enough brigade, desptie his two amazing finishes today but until Batshuayi is fit, Tammy is probably our best option. If he scores or play great after the international break vs Wolves and Liverpool I might reconsider my opinion. till then two well-taken goals dont make a summer.
-
except that Kante and Azpi are 28 and 29 respectively. Rather would have Rüdiger in place of Azpi too.
-
Clearly one of his worst performances in a Chelsea shirt The first Nowrich goal is 30% on Christensen who stand still when their player is running at him and then does not follow the off-the ball run and 70% on Barkley who does not get across Cannant or some meaningful contact in despite being the way bigger man. For tthe second goal I have to retract my prior verdict. This is again to 60% on Christensen who fails to play Pukki offside, Zouma had made the step to do so but then should have come across more quickly and somewhat disturb pukki in the shot legally, so it is maybe 15% on him and 25% on Kepa being off his line. I am sure he would have kept it out just standing at the post with PUkki no angle to aim at. Christensen also lost the duel with godfrey when they hit the crossbar.
