we really need to be more variable tactically. all we can do is this total football pressing for 15mins and then get tired. we neeed to be able to park the bus and tire the opponent with slow posession footy as well. And we really should do because we have plenty of experience in both and they are arguably easier.

Why do we still keep saying to "try" Tammy. He had plenty of time this season and in preseason and has never repaid any of this trust. Nothing we have seen from him so far warrants further starts. True. Whilst Mount, Cho and James IMO deserve the chance because of their immense talent and potential regardless of the ban, Tammy is so clearly out of his depth it is literally written in his face whenever he misses a chance.

Sure, that was not meant as criticism. It is just become a habit for him. Remember when he scored two goals against Newcastle, got loaned out the next day, started teh weekend vs Köln and scored 2 again. He is a brilliant poacher, make no mistake. I rate him more than Giroud and Tammy. But also he will never be a complete all round striker, who I would trust to lead the line for a top club. But he was hugely successful in Dortmund and we play very very similar to Dortmund under Lamps, committing people forward, a lot of running off the ball and low crosses fizzed across the goalkeeper.
