It is interesting how Barkley, Willian, Pedro and to some extent Azpi and Jorginho the allegedly more experienced guys are clearly a step too slow in everything compared to the rest. As if time had passed them by.

This lineup does have the making of an absolute disasterclass. Well we will see, lets hope we are wrong.

We really need a pure Dm.barkley and jorginho in a dp is ridiculous. Willian and Pedro is calling for chances wasted. And really no idea what is going on with Kante. He plays a game. Looks fit and fine. Then is out again for weeks. Smells weird. Maybe his powers are waning and we keepnhim fresh for the big games only.

I think the cleansheet is an absolute pipedream with our two best defenders out. But we will surely score. I think it will be 3 or 2-1. Abraham to score again.

If Pulisic and CHO both come good, with their pace they can be a devastating duo like Mane and Salah. I still believe Pulisic has a chance to fulfill his potential here. Though, I doubt his problems are purely physical. He does look a bit tense and desperate with his final ball. But his movement has been good and he does well to get into the positions. He is definitely feeling the pressure so Lamps has no choice to use him sporadically so far as he still does not really play well with the team which surprises me given how spectacular his form was in pre-season. I guess it is a combination of both, getting used to the rigor of the PL and finding his feet in this new situation for him. But he is obviously a hard worker, a down-to-earth character, I am sure he will manage.

dafuq. My feeling is that we will not keep a clean sheet until Rüdiger is fit again. Our big win at Wovles came off the basis of the improved defensive solidity and organisation in the first half. In the second, when he came off, we crumbled.

Maybe but Mount would be even more out of position on the right. Jorginho on the other hand is not really needed in Lamps's system IMO. We should try to use both RLC and Mount in their best positions.

As long as Tammy and Mount play we will surely score. Pedro and Willian will surely play this match even though I would like to see CHO at least from the bench. Azpi and Zouma will start as well I guess which means we will surely concede from our right. The grimsby match came at the right time as a confidence booster. We have great depth now all over the pitch with the returnees so we Lamps should utilize it wisely.

As I said, scoring 2 goals vs an inferior opposition and being poor otherwise is just the most Bats Bats thing there is. But we needed his first goal today and he took it well enough. With Giroud unavailable it is ckear why he has a role in this squad

I followed him when playing for Wigan already and i can not remember a 18/19 y.o. consistently outperforming the best 2nd division in the world. This match just showed he can also do it for Chelsea. So I only said if he continues his trajectory (no injuries etc) he will be world class, not that he will definitely become this way

damn. Well at least it is at home. But they are a bit of a bogey side for us. We are really bad vs pacy strikers and they surely will roll out Martial and Rashford for this. Lets hope we have our D sorted out till then.

i would prefer crawley town or colchester. The latter just to spite spurs by thumping them.

with Utd and Spurs sucking some serious balls this season, top 4 is there for the taking in theory. But we would need to ge tour defence sorted first, which could take some time. But at least with CHO back I can see us generating a bit more penetration on both flanks. In the next few games we will for sure need to score at least 2 or 3 to win. Still seeing how much those young players add when they are in the mood if they can replicate this vs PL level teams we will see some amazing performances.

Dude must sign that contract and be the first name on the teamsheet on Saturday. What a performance once more. I have never seen such maturity, intelligence and awareness for space and timing of passes and dribblings from a 19 year old right back since Philipp Lahm. And Reece has twice the built, dribbling ability and pace as Lahm. If he continues this trajectory without any injuries or he wil be the best right back in the world no doubt (Meanwhile at the exact time I wrote this Wan-Bissaka missed an open net.... ).

Yup. Credit where its due. Despite a thrashing their ranks are still full and applauding their team. the whole side have been very honorable losers and polite visitors, put on a fight up until the last few minutes. They did not even play bad, we just played very very good.

we have so many talented central and central offensive midfielders i can not even decide for a best lineup without yet another talented player coming through. Lets hope no-one pulls a Mourinho and sells the best 2^^

How CHO and Pulisic have not scored yet is beyond me. Really should be putting away those 1 on 1s but their goalie is in excellent form today.
