Corrupted fA swooping in to save Utd a CL spot. I still don’t get why such a political Organisation like FA is allowed to run the PL. should be managed by a commercial organisation in which every club has same voting rights. Like in Germany where DFB who are just as corrupted have nothing to say over DFL who are running the league. Still, might have dodged a bullet. Spurs are better without Ali anyway.

I am still not grateful af we did not sign that hoser.
-
A player I would love to complete the German revolution at Chelsea with, esp if Havertz eventually happened, would be Klostermann who is a defensive Allrounder, tall, intelligent, still young enough and can play with every position in the back for. Also he is probably one of the quickest defenders ever.
-
This. Bayern will only buy 2 players This summer one of which is Sane. I doubt hey are willing to splash all out on Havertz but they are trying their utmost to make him run down his contract. They are planning to sign him in 2021 so this is the year he is up for grabs if he decides to move now at all. I think he himself would prefer Real but if we hey can not buy him this year he is pretty much nailed on for Bayern.
-
Well he is 1,89cm so exactly 1cm taller but his heading prowess is indeed intriguing. Werner and Havertz playing off each other with Pulsiic and Ziyech feeding them would be insane. No need for a traditional CF in this set up. But I think if RLC regains Form quickly he can be our Havertz and play that exact role too.
-
We would not even get that money for him. If we put him up for sale, everyone would be like „there is something wrong with him“ and try to lowball us. Also it would send the wrong signal after he has been busting a bit the whole season for us desperately wanting to make it here.
-
No one said anything about world class potential but more than Barkley that’s for sure. Rice is a the English Jon Obi Mikel. Composed and tackles clean as a whistle. But he is quicker and more tenacious. At 21 he already looks a mature DM. Not a worldclass one bit a very solid one. Even if he stagnates at this level Which is unlikely he will have a good Career. But more importantly we got overrun in midfield a lot in big games where we really could use a player like him especially over a dud like Barkley.
-
I think independent of Gallagher we are at least one player too thick in his position. Barkley is by far the most expendable player in our midfield and imo should be last in the pecking order behind Kovacic, Kante, Joeginho, RLC, Mount. Even in a 4-3-3 five senior midfielders should be enough given additional to Gallagher there are tons of Academy graduates in that position, one of which just signed a new long term deal. Unless we sell someone else, Barkley will only hold us up. The only thing he has going for him is that he is homegrown so is basically a free spot in midfield but with the direction the club is going, fulfilling the homegrown quota will not be a problem in the future. If we can trade him for another English player with the potential of Rice it should be a no brainer
-
As I said. The contract will be signed before the season even restarts so us qualifying for the CL or not comes way after Werners decision.
-
The deal must be done before June 15 which is before the season restarts. It either will be done by then which IMO is 95% likely or it will collapse and Werner will move for a lot more money elsewhere or even stay both of which highly unlikely. Either way we will know very soon. In different news, There is chatter West ham have showed interest in Barkley which could be used for a swap deal for Rice. Not a fan of either but we could use a versatile defensive player.
-
We won‘t. Apart from the fact that there is a 1% chance at most of this to happen, Don’t forget Havertz is still a kid and he could have an average season. He is inconsistent and completely out of games sometimes. what we are Building is more important than single league title. It’s a dynasty.
-
As soon as he activates the release clause And the player signs With us, we are the sole owner of the transfer rights. No matter when the window starts. The deal must be done till June 15 tho. And don’t worry, the deal will go through.
-
I wonder what games they have been watching. Such an average Talent. Hard worker, great attitude but I doubt he will ever be worth those 100m
-
Chilwell is technically fine. Skill also means moving the ball precisely at high Pace which Alonso is incapable of.
-
I call BS on this one. Why would Lamps and Petr travel to Germany when they want Aubameyang instead and afterwards complain they got the exact player they pitched to. Also Auba would be cheap. We could still sign as emergency option if Tammy leaves over the contract quarrels
-
Not even Alonso himself can doubt that Chilwell is the superior player. Quicker, more intelligent while being in the same decent technical level. Alonso is more of an offensive threat but we know at what cost he will come. IMO it is a matter of price. For everything above 40m I would say we should look elsewhere. I would prefer Telles or Theo Hernandez obviously but rather roll with our current lbs than with our current cbs. It’s a shame that while we have tons of mids there is no one coming from the academy who could nail the lb place cos this position has been there for the taking for years now.
-
Great news. I just don’t see how with the plethora of AMs at the club he will have a pathway unless we sell someone
-
That’s really poor from him. He can not join Roma till September so he could as well se ethe season out with us. If it’s true I guess we will see Mount and Barkley as wingers again -.-
-
I don’t see it like that. I saw Tagliafico struggling badly in the world cup and also by us he was one of their weaker players. I think Chilwell is better and has the higher ceiling even if financially this is a good deal for Leicester. Still, I think the relationship between Leicester and is is good. We got Kante for pennies and then overpaid for Drinkwatwr. I guess there were Some kind of inside deals behind that which helped then balance their books. ManU is who they really screwed for Maguire.

Reaching for the stars lol

It does not say if it is on July 1 or after the season finishes tho
-
Gabriel is an intelligent defender with great timing and passing but he might be a bit slow. Surely no Cahill who was more of a last ditch slide tackle kind of guy whilst Gabriel always tries a less risky but better timed tackle. Salisu is an incredible athlete and will become a beast but he has 0 experience. He is not gonna come and transform the team. I have had to agree that if we sign a very young cb they will take some time to make an impact. But we have enough young CBs we need one in his prime. For that price he would be a no brainer tho.

It gets even sweeter. Spox are reporting that Werner in fact is just 50m Euros so like 44.8m pounds. An absolute steal especially for how livid Bayern and Pool fans (,the two IMO least likeable fanbases of all) are right now. https://www.spox.com/de/sport/fussball/rundumdenball/news-transfers-bundesliga-premier-league-primera-division-serie-a.html

Tbf some player mature late. I trained with a few guys who later became pros or semi pros two of which still play in Bundesliga and they never really stood out. Rüdiger and Werner indeed are a special Stuttgart connection and i have heard from multiple witnesses how shit they were in training in their teens. Especially Rüdiger,I remember in one of his first game he conceded a penalty and got a red card, exposing his lack footballing intelligence. Yet tons of coaches throughout his career have believed that he can more than compensate this with his athleticism and leadership. It sounds comical but there are numerous example from various sports when setting the team up properly can paper over a single players weaknesses while emphasizing his strengths.Just think Payton Manning who always was (rightly) criticized for not having a strong enough right arm and he still became one of the greatest quarterbacks of all time. Same applies to Werner. He is not the greatest talent in the world but he has raw pace, both in acceleration and in end speed. He is a hard worker who loves to press. He is also seldom injured which has accelerated his development. He is a hard worker with a white belt-mentality eager to learn from everyone. Paired with the right players who can play him in he can be an absolute weapon. The question is always do those obvious weaknesses matter and are his strengths so vital that it worth building a team around the player. In the case of Werner, the board, Lamps and the scouts obviuosly all watched atleast as much footage of him as we did and concured that we can use him. So lets at least for the moment respect their professional assessment.

Love it. Every time a player snubs them, every Bayern fan goes out of their way to state they never where interested even for players like KDB. It’s hilarious
