  1. ManU have played like utter wank for all of the 20 years i have been watching football. under Ferguson they always humped long balls to the the middle, tried to win second balls, distributed it to their wings and then just pumped corners in the box. Rinse and repeat. Always got lucky tho. I cant stand how pool and esp Manu always get favoured by the footballing institutions, be it Fa, refs or media. such disgusting clubs.
  2. well this did not go as planeed but who cares. if we play like today we don't need to be worried by anyone but if we pick up more injuries we will surely lose our rhythm. Squad management is everything now with the few games left. I am worried about City, Wolves at the bride. Sheffield away we need to be clever Utd are good at parkng the bus and countering with their quick players but they have been beaten 10 times this season mostly by teams who just sat back and they struggled to create. Lets hope that is what we will see from them. They lack genuine quality. Apart from Fernandes they have no creators and martial and james are only good in space.
  3. Where is fucking KDB? Injured again or what?
  4. Gilmour performing this well gives us balance that frees up barkley and mount. and willian, pedro and alonso have clearly profitted from sitting those weeks out they look way fresher than before
  5. anjorin really should have scored there
  6. i think both are ultimatley not good enough for the highest calibre of games and over a whole season but Giroud also was not as good at holding up and link up play when he was 22 as he is now.
  7. Mount getting a well deserved rest. Great game son. interesting to see reece in midfield
  8. tbf he was the exact same player at 26. his hold up play was not that good and he was a tad faster but still not very quick. i guess we can keep him around another year and he still will be the same player. his game is not about pace and other than that he is as physically fit as one can be.
  9. Lamps has absolutely outcoached Carlo just as he coutcoached Mourinho. Lets hope RDM, AVB, Grant, Ranieri, Big Phil and Hiddink all get EPL jobs again. Us finding our home form at the best possible time in the season.
  10. what an awesoemgoal by willian. pickford is clearly weak to his right side.
  11. Even Mount, Barkley and to some extent Alonso look good vs such an incredibly poor Everton side. We should not overestimate this. It is a one-off that an oppnenet allows us so much space and time on the ball without moving bakcwwards properly or parkign the bus. Few have argued that this side lacks technical ability but rather the grit, determination, physical and mental toughness to impose themselves ona game that is not going in their favour and to see those games out. This match is like an exhibition were we are hardly pressed or challenged. Wtih the technical ability this side has this is not the problem. Once Everton inevitably pull one back via a zouma mistake or a corner then we will see if this team really has matured.
  12. Mount's goal looks like a carbon copy of several of Lamps's goals. one example coming to my mind would be vs WBA in 2011
  13. Willian's corners are still shit. The ref is so biased. when giroud gets fouled its nothing when he fairly uses his body its a foul
  14. i like how Gilmour isdoing the Jorginho and pointing teammates where to pass clear fould on giroud
  15. pickford has learnt how to control his area despite his tiny 6ft. kepa should be able to learn too. Pickford still remains an average goalie as evident by Mount's goal tho
  16. i also thought pedro was done but how he roasted sidibe there as he helped out alonso a few mins ago was beautiful. great finish as well.
  17. True and Barkley once was this But he never turned out consistently. Same with mount so far but he has age on his side. Still he must use it to not end up the same washed up has been
  18. Anything we see from him this season I consider a bonus. Puli is absolutely notorious for pickling up niggling injuries all the time but he is used To it and recovers form quickly. I don’t expect Transform the team when he is back but he is probably our best winger and albeit our slump started when he was fit still he offers something no one else in the team does which is pace+directness+goal drive. We have been completely unable to play out counters effectively And break up buses and without him
  19. Credit where it’s due. Good performance. In no way I would have expected him to be this mature. I have not changed my overall opinion and still have some reservations but he will come in handy with all those injuries. One big reason for all the Gilmour love however is that bar Kovacic we have been deprived of this player type for long. His performance yesterday was what you would expect from a veteran but not from a worldclass one so mind the Hypetrain for now
  20. solid win despite we should have scored double figures today. we were so much better than this 1b pool side. Mind with our best available side (that is with 4, now 6 key injuries).
  21. No time for individuals like that which aren't called Messi or Ronaldo. even ronaldo and messi would have squared there. i genuinely think mount did not see giroud there because he has 0 vision and creativity. just a fucking workhorse with basic physical and technical ability. basically English Ramires but without the pace and big match mentality.
  22. another injury, obviously. hopefully just a cramp
  23. he is. what an effort from him today. still cant to basic shit, his wonder goal aside. for all his physical and technical abilities he just lacks footballing brain, the cm willian.
  24. mason mounts final ball is absolutely abysmal. he has no awareness whatsever. for al lhis hard work he cant do shit. he just needs to roll it across for the tap in for giroud
