  1. Great to hear he has recovered and feeling well. Guess he now is immune and can support others morally. I hope he has no lasting damages like reported in some cases.
  2. Actually it was Bale. Ronaldo was completely neutralized by Granfranny and only scored a meaningless penalty.
  3. Still expect pool to score and go through but with the amount of chances they wasted today they might have eventually run out of luck
  4. Is away goals rule still valid in extra time?
  5. tbf that was an obvious offside. cant blame the ref for doing his job correctly for once lol
  6. lol it has happened. but obviously disalllowed
  7. The glorifying vocab the commentators are using is cringe. Gigantic tackle by Milner, titanic pressure... are they stoned?
  8. This Felipe guy is outstanding. Shame he is already 30. went most of his career completely under the radar.
  9. By summer everyone has had the virus anyway and we can just go on with our damn business. this hysteria and all the lockdowns are doing more damage than the virus itself.
  10. And at Bayern he wanted to turn all the fullbacksmidfielders (succeeded with Lahm and Kimmich) and then indeed bought new fullbacks who all sucked. He is absolutely awesome for midfielders tho, Gündogan, Fernandinho, KDB all hit a new level under him. Mourinho at the same time seems to be shit for all positions, even CBs right now^^ So funny that clubs keep hiring him and not noticing they are beating a dead horse.
  11. lol how shit Lloris has become they really need to fire Maureen if they want to be successful, last chance for title gone.... so lets hope they keep the lame duck forever lol
  12. I doubt Bayern will be affected mich by this. They are too experienced and professional. Still, with Lewandowski out we should at least keep our pride. Get a narrow win to at least maintain our modest streak.
  13. Sell him as soon as we have a replacement. We know he will never be good enough. He is still young and might improve so i would rather keep him but the club should not be held to ransom. The CHO deal should remain a one off. He still has 2 yrs left so he should fetch full market value at least 55m being English and homegrown. I see too much of Lukaku in him who is still the exact same player he was at 23. he will be a decent striker no doubt, score plenty of goals esp in clusters vs poor teams but he will never be an absolute worldie good enough to lead our line.
  14. ManU have played like utter wank for all of the 20 years i have been watching football. under Ferguson they always humped long balls to the the middle, tried to win second balls, distributed it to their wings and then just pumped corners in the box. Rinse and repeat. Always got lucky tho. I cant stand how pool and esp Manu always get favoured by the footballing institutions, be it Fa, refs or media. such disgusting clubs.
  15. well this did not go as planeed but who cares. if we play like today we don't need to be worried by anyone but if we pick up more injuries we will surely lose our rhythm. Squad management is everything now with the few games left. I am worried about City, Wolves at the bride. Sheffield away we need to be clever Utd are good at parkng the bus and countering with their quick players but they have been beaten 10 times this season mostly by teams who just sat back and they struggled to create. Lets hope that is what we will see from them. They lack genuine quality. Apart from Fernandes they have no creators and martial and james are only good in space.
  16. Where is fucking KDB? Injured again or what?
  17. Gilmour performing this well gives us balance that frees up barkley and mount. and willian, pedro and alonso have clearly profitted from sitting those weeks out they look way fresher than before
  18. anjorin really should have scored there
  19. i think both are ultimatley not good enough for the highest calibre of games and over a whole season but Giroud also was not as good at holding up and link up play when he was 22 as he is now.
  20. Mount getting a well deserved rest. Great game son. interesting to see reece in midfield
  21. tbf he was the exact same player at 26. his hold up play was not that good and he was a tad faster but still not very quick. i guess we can keep him around another year and he still will be the same player. his game is not about pace and other than that he is as physically fit as one can be.
  22. Lamps has absolutely outcoached Carlo just as he coutcoached Mourinho. Lets hope RDM, AVB, Grant, Ranieri, Big Phil and Hiddink all get EPL jobs again. Us finding our home form at the best possible time in the season.
  23. what an awesoemgoal by willian. pickford is clearly weak to his right side.
  24. Even Mount, Barkley and to some extent Alonso look good vs such an incredibly poor Everton side. We should not overestimate this. It is a one-off that an oppnenet allows us so much space and time on the ball without moving bakcwwards properly or parkign the bus. Few have argued that this side lacks technical ability but rather the grit, determination, physical and mental toughness to impose themselves ona game that is not going in their favour and to see those games out. This match is like an exhibition were we are hardly pressed or challenged. Wtih the technical ability this side has this is not the problem. Once Everton inevitably pull one back via a zouma mistake or a corner then we will see if this team really has matured.
