  1. Did you watch the game? The same problems exist, either our midfield is too far away from defenders or too far from the attackers - we need to get that right before we start looking good. Hazard found himself alone initially as AC wasn't going for the overlap, so he tried to make something happen. It didn't work it boohoo - one swallow don't make a summer (or a whore) as the saying goes. Get behind the fucking team and support OUR players!
  2. Nope I read Hutchos posts below, but it just clogs up the thread and serves no purpose! In BIG LETTERS it states do not post unreliable links!!! I also realise the irony of me complaining and further clogging up the thread!
  3. Can we just ban fucking idiots like this? If you want to talk shit find some other fucking Chelsea forum. Some of us have lives and need to catch up on news stories quickly - if you want to post jokes do the shit in the jokes section
  4. He likes scoring against Manchester Clubs - so I now like him I wasn't sure about another striker but 25 mil and Raul = bite their hands off....
  5. Big Gob Whelan is lowering his price to 8.5million according to SSN... I think 5million now, 1-2 million depending upon appearances - would be a good deal for him, he definitely offers us more options as already stated and he is Young and is almost proven in the Premiership... He's the kind of guy you could send on for the last 10 minutes and would sneak you a crazy mad goal - for that kind of money, I'd rather have him on our bench, than face him against Wigan...
  6. Woohoo another classic victory 2-0 to me When does the transfer window open? Assuming I get promoted from Division 1 -> Championship, so really need to start strengthening my squad Be nice to get a double bounce and make it into the Premiership
  7. But if Terry is charged for bad language, so should Anton Ferdinand... It's the same old 'double standards' Whenever it is white v black - it's always an issue and normally the black person is favoured - e.g. positive discrimination. Like when the Labour idiot said "if there is a black and white person equally able to do the job (when interviewing), the black person should get the job.) - This is ridiculous, it's positive discrimination based on colour - exactly WHAT we want to eradicate. Skin colour should have nothing to do with it... This was a footballing incident, the REF didn't care, so why should the FA - all this 'glory' hunting is driving me mad and making English Football a laughing stock... I have a balance of brown, black and white friends - (some prefer brown to black) and all of them agree this is a farce...
  8. I think we used up quite a bit of our luck last year - so expect it to be in short supply this season, we'll just have to grind out every result with 100% focus, commitment and determination We need to ensure we don't put ourselves in a position where an 'official' can change the match - I guess that means 3-0 up after 45 mins
  9. Didn't that happen to Van Nistelroy? Utd pulled out of the deal and then purchased him the following year! That was like 10 yrs ago and 10 yrs is forever in medical science! It's not as big a gamble as you think, especially as he is young and injuries heal quicker. If he was 28+ I would agree... Sounds perfect IMHO
  10. They are and will always be idiots! Until they are replaced and the way that football is governed is changed. What they are relying on is a lower burden of proof, than a court of law has to consider. What I find inconsistent and fecking annoying is that both JT and AF should be charged - it can't just be one and not the other... Another waste of time and money coming up...
  11. Show me footage of somebody running into space for him to pass to? Lamps did early in 2nd half and he played him in really well. He tried a few 1-2's with Lukaku and never got the ball back. He is literally our best player so far, so lay off the negativity... So quick to hate on these boards!!!!
  12. Chill - its a pre-season friendly... Adding players does not immediately equate to success - this is REAL life - not FIFA or FM. They will need to learn to 'gell' and understand what runs their team-mates are making, where tey want the ball etc. It might take us 'lots' of games to hit our true potential, but this is definitely our squad for the future....
  13. Ahh 'Seewinkel' - nice area Not as nice as Salzburger Land though :P
  14. Hi, On my Ipad (3) - the post (where you type comments etc) box is absolutely tiny in Safari... It works fine on the PC + Mac versions of Safari - so must be something 'native' to the Ipad. Everything else on the Ipad works correctly - if you do get chance would be great if you could look into it... Cheers, M
  15. Lol - thread derail? Was that a Yes/no on Hulk then But totally agree on Mancini, spineless idiot and cannot wait to hear his excuses again this year. That's what I love about RDM, he's always so 'classy' in front of a camera - absolute dignity and it's nice for a change that other fans also think he is a class act
  16. Wilkommen! I'm also in Osterreich - Salzburg (Anif) - whereabouts are you?
  17. That's cool with me - every board needs a logical, dispassionate view. I'll admit - after spending the weekend watching Chelsea TV and the former years, I probably have rose-tinted glasses on and for a few mins last night (2:50am in Salzburg) Essien had glimpses of that player I'd just been watching on Chelsea TV. As the saying goes "One swallow doesn't make a summer..." - but despite all that - my heart is telling me Essien has the potential for a great season... Bizarrely, Football is perhaps the only place I let 'emotion' run my thought process - perhaps because in work have to be very clinical... The debate around Lamps is an interesting one - I'll certainly check out the thread and take a look which colour glasses I'm wearing
  18. Awesome = he will join us NOT AWESOME = now I will be watching every game cringing when even the slightest tackle is made on him, it will be just our luck that he'll get crocked!
  19. Yup fair enough - my last post was very childish - like I said - post rage No hard feelings and all that... I still think Essien has something to deliver this year, but lets agree to disagree... I definitely agree with Oscar, Hazard and Marin et al - that is our future...
  20. Hope you do rip out your testicals and cut out your tongue - and do me a favour - hack of your hands as well so you cannot type any more bollox... Go back to FIFA or FM - where you can sign Fellani and/or Cabeye and make yourself happy - if you've got the bollox or hands to do it of course... Having an 'angry @ post moment'....
  21. I agree - Brazil v Spain is a pretty tough one to call - it will depend upon the players on the day - it could go either way, but I think Spain might edge it as a 'Team' - they just have soooo much playing time together both domestically and internationally...
  22. Everything is a gamble - but WE (CFC) owe Essien one last chance IMHO. He's been a fantastic player for us, never complaining (that I can recall) and giving 100% - yes injuries have hampered his performance, but if he can shake them off and regain some form, he is still a cracking player. Replacing him with a younger, un-tested player is a bigger gamble (again IMHO) - you do need to blend youth+experience and Essien certainly has the experience. Plus - where else would you see a fantastic smile like that - the guy never stops smiling, that has to be a postive/calming thing both in the dressing room and on the pitch. Really concerned that some people don't recognise that Footballers are also 'human people' and as such, normal events that affect us, also affect them. I mean if you're a computer programmer and injured both hands, it would take a while to get back to typing good code quickly, you would want YOUR employer to be patient wouldn't you, after all, you programmed some awesome code previously....? We need to keep a 'family' atmoshphere at CFC and not be so mercenary, otherwise, we'll be no better than Man Shitty...
  23. LOL Love it - now people are arguing not how bad Kakuta is playing, but over who previously praised him How I see it - Kakuta was a great prospect, he so far hasn't delivered, he's now past the 'potential' stage and should be delivering. Is it confidence, ability or a blend? I actually think it's a deeper issue - if the reports are to be believed of his poor 'training' whilst on loan. That's either a fundamental lack of talent, or a really bad attitude - if it's the former, goodbye, if it's the latter then an attempt should be made to rectify, if no resolution - then bye bye...
