  1. I wouldn't risk playing him tbh. The way i look at it tommorow worst case scenario is, we lose. Gap goes from 5 to 2. Not the end of the world. We'd still be 2 points in front with City having a more difficult schedule then ours. I'd rather we miss him now then try and rush him back, make his hamstring worse and miss more games.
  2. Well Robben does score more but i think Hazard creates more chances then Robben. Robben looks more to cut inside and go for the shot himself while Hazard is more about passing the ball to other players on the edge of the box so they can have a shot at goal. They're both inverted wingers but with different ways of playing that role. Hazard also plays in a superior league. PL > BL. I also think Hazard has taken a big step forward this season. He's alot more consistent then he was last season. I don't think it's such a controversial thing to say but everyone's entitled to their opinion ofcourse. He was. Really strange that Messi ended up being named the best player. Robben definitely deserved it more. Hazard didn't have a good WC but i felt he was exhausted by the long season he had. Still feel it was a stupid decision from our National coach to not give him any extra rest before the WC but ah well.
  3. Don't really appreciate the "You are clearly a fan" could say the same about you regarding Oscar... You don't agree with what exactly? That Hazard creates more chances then Oscar ? That a lot of Hazard's dribbles are dangerous ? I'd rather you be more specific about it. When you say "those two " do you mean Messi and Ronaldo or Robben and Ribery ? If you mean Messi, Ronaldo then i agree but then again every player is far behind Messi and Ronaldo. If you mean Robben, Ribery then i stand by what i said "that i think Hazard has been just as good as them (Robben, Ribery) this season".
  4. Hazard A.K.A "flashiness and dribbles" creates more chances then Oscar A.K.A "simple passes and throughball here and there". That was my point as your last sentence in your post seemed to indicate that you were annoyed with the fact that flashiness and dribbles (Hazard) was getting more recognition then simple passes and throughballs (Oscar). Maybe i misinterpreted ? There are indeed but i was talking more specifically about Hazard's dribbling(and flashiness) in comparison with Oscar's qualities. I think we can agree though that a lot of Hazard's dribbles aren't inconsequential. A lot of his dribbles create danger, create space, create chances. True but in all fairness Messi and C. Ronaldo are both out of category. Apart from those 2 there really isn't anyone else that can get close to their level of consistency and amount of goals achieved/scored in the last couple of years. When comparing Hazard i think it's best to compare him to the "lesser gods" below Messi and Ronaldo (Robben, Ribery,...). I don't think he's far behind those players. I would even argue that he's been just as good as them this season.
  5. There's a reason for that, "flashiness and dribbles" creates far more chances then "simple passes and a throughball here and there."
  6. Defensive liability. Deserves credit for the goal but what the hell was he thinking on that Moreno chance ? Just ran out of the the defensive line to go press a player that didn't even have the ball.
  7. Sorry but looked intentional both times. Don't really understand the logic of "he wasn't looking at them so it wasn't deliberate" As if he didn't know they were there. He knew Skrtel had gone down in front of him and he knew Can was on the ground in front of him. Only thing i'd say is that if they ban Costa, why wasn't Skrtel retrospectively banned for his elbow on Costa at Anfield ?
  8. Again i believe the tactic we're playing this season is the right one for the players and goals we have. It's the three i named that don't fit and need to be replaced. You can't blame Mourinho for choosing a tactic that benefits the majority of our players. I'm not saying we should get rid of them but they shouldn't be starting for us.( well atleast Ivanovic and Cahill shouldn't. Like i said in my other post Terry still offers certain qualities that aren't easy to replace.
  9. So we should keep playing them then, even though they don't fit the system, because they tried their best ?
  10. Tactic isn't wrong. We're playing the tactic that gets the best out of most of our players problem is those three are dragging us down as they don't fit the system. We already have Azpi who can replace Ivanovic and Zouma could replace Cahill. That just leaves us with 1, Terry. He's not so much a problem as he offers other qualities that we need that aren't so easily replaced. Without buying we could already replace 2 out of the three "weak links" and we'd only have to cover for 1 player instead of three.
  11. Bullied ? Rightfully criticized you mean. Last season we played a deep (defensive) line, this season we're playing a high line and trying to press. To be blunt neither Cahill, Ivanovic or Terry are cut out to play a high line. Cahill is incapable of defending forward(proactive). The only thing he does is back off and try and block the shot. Ivanovic struggles when he's up against quick skillfull players which is why he doesn't like closing down players instead he'll just stand off them and allow them all the time in the world to cross the ball in. Terry simply doesn't have the pace or agility required to play a high line. Azpi and Luis are cut out to play the high line and should both be starting. Zouma should also get his shot to see if he's capable.
  12. Seriously...stfu. You're emberassing yourself. Hazard has arguably been our best player in the big games.( City, Arsenal, United, Southampton, Tottenham, Liverpool) Any big game we've played this season he's been one of the best if not the best performer and coming up with an important goal or assist.
  13. Your right that as a defender, when faced with a player running towards you at pace with the ball, you have to back off so the player doesn't easily get past you BUT only to a certain extent. You can't keep backing off. Eventually you have to step up and make the challenge (especially when you're in your own penalty box) and that's something that Cahill never does. He keeps backing off until the player takes his shot and by then it's too late.
  14. @Kezza It's not because of Cahill. It's because of Azpi. Matic and Cahill help out too but mostly Azpi. I believe that's the reason why Azpi starts on the left back. He protects Terry from getting run at. Azpi rarely ever gets burned however against Newcastle he was on a couple of occasions leaving Terry isolated in a 1 on 1 situation with a skillfull and quick winger. To be blunt neither Cahill nor Terry are suited to play center back in a team that plays a high press (high line), possession based tactic.(fullbacks high up the pitch to provide width) Terry is too slow and Cahill simply doesn't know how to defend proactively.
  15. Sick and tired of him. He just keeps switching off. Luis and Azpi on FB positions please.
  16. Simply not good enough. Needs to be replaced but by who ? World class CD's are a rare breed to find these days. Zouma is a good prospect but i think he still has plenty to learn before we make him a starter.
  17. @Jason Actually Niclas is kinda right. Lampard's goal vs us gave City a point while taking 2 off of us. Lampard's goal cost us 3 points gap wise with City. So without Lampard's goals there would have been a 7 point gap now between us and City.
  18. Think you people have been watching too much porn...
  19. Just took a look at our fixtures. Very busy, difficult period coming up. Hope Mourinho rotates more. Would be crazy if he didn't. 22 dec : Stoke away 26 dec : West Ham home 28 dec : Southampton away 1 jan : Spurs away 4 jan : Watford home 10 jan : Newcastle home 17 jan : Swansea away 20/21 jan : Liverpool away 24 jan : Next round Fa cup (if we beat Watford) 27/28 jan : Liverpool home 31 jan : City home
  20. Red card for me. He's pulling Remy back. Hands not supposed to be around his chest.
  21. Bad cops, racist cops exist. Noone is denying that. This doesn't mean all cops are racist or that the majority are. "Cops are racist. A lot of them." Come on dude do you realize how ridiculous that statement is ? "Garner had been previously arrested and was out on bail for selling untaxed cigarettes, driving without a license, marijuana possession, and false impersonation" Allegedly my ass. He was out on bail and doing the same illegal crap.
