  1. So it's Mourinho's fault now ? He gave Oscar all the trust in the world. You mention KDB and Mata but they're both nr 10's who were forced to play RW to accommodate Oscar. Right from the start he said Oscar was his number 10. Mourinho gave him 2 years of first team football, where he was the undisputed nr 10, yet he hasn't progressed at all as a player. Oscar was given every opportunity to succeed but didn't take it. The blame rests with him and him alone. What Deco thinks/says really doesn't matter at all. He probably will play better under another manager but that will have little to do with the manager and more to do with the weaker league and weaker club he'll be playing in.
  2. Euhm because his performance wasn't noteworthy at all ? He did what he had to do but he had very little to do.
  3. Mourinho : ManagerialIn ten seasons of club management, Mourinho has led his club to win its domestic league seven times, the UEFA Champions League twice and the UEFA Cup once. Between 2003 and 2012, Mourinho did not go a single calendar year without winning at least one trophy. 4. How about we play Azpi at RB and tell Brana the season ended early ?
  5. Indeed and it was happening all game long. Happened at 4:24 and at 4:32 aswell. Benteke should be coming close for the 1-2, Vertonghen should be overlapping to counter the double marking instead they're just standing there watching Hazard.
  6. Think you misunderstood me. I'm not defending Mourinho. I don't believe our right side is working but i just think that Mourinho believes it's working. Why else would he buy Cuadrado ? I mean if he's not happy with our RW scoring and assisting so little why didn't he just go out and buy a high scoring RW ? Instead he went for a 26 y old RW that has scored only 30 goals in his entire career (over 200 appearances). The root of our right wing problem is Ivanovic. With him playing right back the primary job of our right winger isn't, try and score/assist, it's to provide defensive cover for Ivanovic. As long as Mourinho choses to play Ivanovic our RW will continue to be a mess. Mourinho can throw as much money at it as he likes it just doesn't work but again i think he believes it does work and will continue to play like that.

  8. Because Wilmots is a fucking retard.
  9. Seems more annoyed with the lack of movement in front and around him.
  10. The thing is does Mourinho actually feel like the RW position needs fixing ? Based on his actions i'd say no. We've seen Willian (and sometimes even Ramires) been giving the starting spot, on that RW, over more attacking players like Schurrle and Salah. Also when we replaced Schurrle in the squad we didn't go for a goalscoring RW instead we went for a carbon copy of Willian. (different styles ofcourse but still similar) A defensive minded RW with pace and high workrate. The way i see it Mourinho seems happy with how our right side is set up and is going to continue playing that way next season.
  11. No he hasn't. Again just look past the goals. Goals aren't everything. This board wouldn't turn against Oscar if he actually kept performing in the second part of the season...
  12. Kane has 19 goals and 3 assists. Hazard has 11 goals and 6 assists. The difference isn't that big stats wise. Kane is also a striker so it makes sense he'll score more goals. His main job is to score goals. Hazard isn't a striker his main job is to create chances and he's done that plenty this season. Hazard : Keypasses 2.8/game, Dribbles 4.7/game, Fouled 3/game. Kane : Keypasses 0.7/game, Dribbles 1.5/game, Fouled 1.3/game If people look past goals then it's clear Hazard is having a much better season and is the better player. It would be absolutely ridiculous if Hazard didn't win PFTY.
  13. Praising is fine ofcourse but some of the post on here have been more about the the people criticizing Oscar then it has been about praising Oscar. When you take digs at the people criticizing Oscar, label them haters and accuse them of having an agenda, they are gonna come on here and defend their criticism of Oscar. I wouldn't have come on this thread and restated my opinion if i didn't feel like i was being called out.
  14. Yeah he is. It's frustrating to watch one of our most talented generation be managed by such a tactically inept manager.
  15. Hazard playing poorly for Belgium is Belgium's problem not Chelsea's. Wilmots hasn't won anything as a manager and has next to no experience. Couple of months as interim playermanager at Schalke, sacked at a belgian midtable team, and a couple of years as assistent coach for the NT. Compare his resume to that of Mourinho. He's tactically very poor as a manager. Ask any belgian. Mourinho's going to be here for a long while at Chelsea so if Oscar can't consistently perform the role Mourinho wants him to play then Oscar's got a really big problem. The same problem Mata had and we all know how that ended.
  16. If he wants to change peoples minds he can start by actually showing up for our remaining 9 PL games. Oscar's main problem is his inconsistency yet you expect people to change their mind based on 1 fucking game.
  17. I highly doubt any of the "Real Madrid superstars" went missing in the second part of the season, for 3 consecutive seasons.
  18. I wish people woud stop with this "hater" and "they're just out to get him" crap. I can only speak for myself but i don't hate Oscar. I just don't think he should be a starter for us anymore. He's too inconsistent. He's been here for 3 years and everytime he goes missing in the second part of the season. That's just unacceptable for a starter. It's good that he scored a goal for Brazil but that's not gonna suddenly change my opinion. (which i formed based on the three years he's played here)
  19. pic.twitter.com/WM1FWGsEI6” pic.twitter.com/gwUA9k4Rrd” Poor courtois getting bullied by Hazard.
  20. Disagree. He could have just kicked it to the sidelines. He messed up. It was a poor pass from Ivanovic that put his goalkeeper in a shitty situation but he should have done better. Happy though that he showed mental durabillity after his mistake. You've got goalkeepers that make a mistake and then go on to have absolute stinkers of games because they're doubting themselves and constantly second guessing themselves because of the mistake. He didn't. That's a good trait to have for a goalkeeper. Anyone calling for Cech needs to have a word with themselves as he more then made up for the mistake.
  21. Honestly he should have already gone past the 20 goal barrier this season. In the Maribor games alone he could have gotten 4 more goals. ( penalty he missed, penalty he gave to Drogba, 2 1 on 1 chances with the goalkeeper.) He has 16 goals and 8 assists in all competitions. Good numbers but they don't really accurately depict his performances this season. He should already have been closer to the 25 goal barrier and the 15-20 assists barrier. 2 PK's in the league, Arsenal and QPR. 2 in the CL, Maribor and PSG. 1 in the league cup, Liverpool.
  22. I think Excalibur meant putting Hazard on the 10.
  23. They were the better side in that second half. They had the biggest chance of the game with Cavani that hit the post. For me a season isn't just defined by trophies. How we performed during the season matters. First half of the season was excellent but the second half has been poor. Yes there's been an overreaction after our CL exit but i think that's understandable given our form since new year and the way we went out against PSG. Giving away a lead twice at home. Against 10 men, minutes before the end of extra time. It hurt like hell. Our team is better then it was 2 years ago so it's only logical people have higher expectations. I don't think the criticism has really been about the loss of points. The criticism has been more about our performances . They simply haven't been anywhere near the level we were performing at in the beginning of the season. Well i do agree that some people have indeed crossed the line but ,in the aftermath of our exit, there have also been a lot of good, reasonable, points raised aswell. Lack of rotation, our approach after we take a lead, players starting while they're simply not good enough, players that keep starting even though they've been underperforming for a while. Overreactions have happened but there have also been proper discussions about what people think are the reasons for our slump. Honestly think your being too harsh on our fans. Most of us "spoiled drama-queens fans" just believe this squad can do better (performance wise).
  24. We did get dominated at home. It was a lot more then 10 minutes. They had the better chances. Neither Arsenal nor us were "humiliated". An excellent season ? I'd have to disagree with that. We were having an excellent season until new year. From there on we've only had 1 game where we actually played well for the majority of the game, Swansea. That's it. All the other games we've had to grind out results. Most of the games we've done just enough to get the win but we've been cutting it way too close. If Man City weren't bottling it we'd be in big trouble for the title. Honestly this slump isn't something we should be ignoring or just disregard as the competitiveness of the PL. There are real problems at the root of our slump. Players that aren't good enough to be starters. Lack of rotation ( fatigue and players not getting replaced when they are off form for a while). Also our tactical approach after we take the lead needs to be looked at. I'm sick and tired of us taking the lead and then watch us sit deep, invite pressure and not be able to handle it. Imo one of the worst things we can do is get complacent and think everything is all right just because we've won the PL and the League cup this season. If we want to win the PL, FA cup, League cup and have any hope of winning the CL again, in the seasons to follow then we are going to have to take lessons from our mistakes and shortcomings this season. Instead of pretending like we don't have any.
