  1. Has this been confirmed ? I thought RDM said it was just a slight knock?(before the game against Brighton)
  2. @Land Ehm actually no it's not. A nr 10's job is to link up play between midfield and the forwards, creating chaos by running between the lines, making diagonal runs in the back of the LW and RW. Basically creating chances and doing as much damage as possible. What your talking about is a deep lying playmaker. These guys are the ones who receive the ball from the back four and distribute the ball to the forwards. The only reason a nr 10 would drop deep to ask the ball is if he feels he's not getting on the ball enough or if his team has no deep lying playmaker and is struggling with distributing the ball. Personally i don't like it when a nr 10 drops deep. Because of it you lose a player in front of the ball I prefer my nr 10 to play on the half of the opponent. Ozil has Alonso as DLP. Silva has TourΓ© and Xavi is a DLP.
  3. I agree that playing Oscar in the double pivot of a 4-2-3-1 would not work. I would prefer if we played a 4-3-3 like the one Semia 7 suggested. ----------------------------Torres Hazard----------------------------------------------Mata --------------------Oscar------Ramires/Lamps ---------------------Romeu/Essien/Mikel That way Oscar can be the deeplying playmaker supplying Hazard/Mata and Torres while still being able to roam and make his forward runs. That would also suit Ramires and Lamps more as they could make their runs from the secondary line.It would also relieve the number 6 (Romeu/Essien/Mikel) from them passing forward and having to supply our front 3.
  4. Euh.. because he's a great player and in order for him to adapt to the PL he needs to play... Kinda obvious no?
  5. I know what you mean, a lot of people think so but he really isn't like that. He's confident but not arrogant. These kind of interviews proves that.
  6. @ CHOULO 19 For a change ? He's always been modest in his interviews.
  7. http://www.thefirstrow.eu/watch/81471/1/watch-chelsea-tv.html
  8. "You guys" ? So what if other Belgian members overrated him. I can't do anything about that. That doesn't mean that my opinion doesn't count anymore. What kind of FU logic is that.
  9. This is getting ridiculous. Yes Kojo Ligue 1 is weaker then the PL, however it is still 1 of the 5 top competitions in Europe and when you make your debut at 16 in that league, become a starter at 17, win the most talented player of ligue 1 award (2 times in a row) and then win the best player of ligue 1 award (2 times in a row, youngest player to win it), your capable of more then " a bit fancy on the ball ". All the topclubs have wanted him for years. So you think you know better then all their top scouts? You've watched him play a couple of games and 3 preseason games. I 've watched almost all his games for the last 2 years. So no offense but i'm pretty sure i have a better grasp at what he's capable of and trust me it's more then " a bit fancy on the ball". So how about you just give the lad a break and give him a couple of months to settle in before you start writting him off already.
  10. So your argument for me disagreeing with you is because i'm Belgian ? I' mean cmon give the guy some time. He's 21 y old and he's had 3 games with his new club. A bit quick to write him off no?
  11. Just one thing to say about this post : Seriously...
  12. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uZfBrkYiRjA Some footage of Eden in training + Lukaku talking about Eden and Kevin.
  13. Only thing Hazard ever said about training was that he liked playing matches more then training. Media ofcourse interpreted this as not wanting to train. After the rumors about Hazard not training 100 % Rudi Garcia ( his coach) said that he did train 100% and that the rumors weren't true. Landreau ( Lille's goalkeeper) said that in the 5 years Hazard played and trained with the first team there never were any problems and not once was Hazard late for training in those 5 years. You don't become as good as Hazard by loafing around on training.
  14. BS mate, French and Belgian papers said around Β£110 000 per week.
  15. @BluesMaster I understand what you mean but the thing is in the last 2 years Hazard has changed his way of playing. From being an explosive winger who cuts to the inside, constantly taking on his opponent and roaming on both wings to a nr 10 playmaker who roams all over the field. He still has his explosive runs and he can still dribble the s*** out of defenders but now he picks his moments more. apologies for not quoting you directly but when i click on Quote the text doesn't appear below for some reason.
  16. True but he was also one of the most wanted young players on the market and he was playing on the position that they were in need of strenghtening. + the fact of not winning a prize and the fast elemination from the CL and EL. It could have swayed him to invest a bit more.
  17. Don't think he really demanded the position probably just asked where they would play him. He's probably just gonna get his shot on the number 10 and see how he performs there. But like "james" said doesn't really matter that much where they play. They'll just roam all over. Both Mata and Hazard are players who need that freedom to roam to really max their impact.
  18. Well Belgian and French papers have always reported the weekly wages to be around 110 000 Β£ so it not impossible that Man United offered more.
  19. Actually no it wasn't. The word for word translation is " From various conversations with the staff (his entourage) it appears he'll be playing on the number 10, behind the striker."
  20. Lukaku is fluent in french and dutch. It'll take Hazard maybe a month to learn a fair amount of english no worries. He's not the first player to have to learn a new language.
  21. When you have a kid at a young age, automatically you have to become more mature. So yes it does show maturity. Could also be that it wasn't his fault maybe his girlfriend forgot to take her pill. @Terminator X I find it quite appalling and moronic that you label someone ,who has a kid at a young age, to have a lack of class. Accidents happen. Condoms aren't 100 %. It's true that most young pregnancies are from the lower class but that doesn't make everyone who has a kid at a young age a low class person. Would it be classier to secretly get an abortion ? As that is the tendency with high class people who get pregnant.
  22. For those who are interested. Apparently he got married in secret. Scheduled the marriage for 9th june but secretly he got married on 26th april. Took the media this long to figure it out. XD Also proves that he's not a media/attention whore.
  23. He has a very good left foot. He just likes the rabona. 0:02 left foot assist 0:29 left foot goal 2:03 left foot goal 2:22 left foot assist 5:09 left foot assist
