  2. Have you seen De Bruyne's ex ? Have you seen his current gf ? ex : current: As far as i'm concerned Courtois deserves a fucking medal. Going above and beyond the call of duty. Jumping on a live grenade to save his friend. If only all guys were as courageous as Courtois. The world would be a better place and we'd all have hotter girlfriends.
  3. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=apdaWmswP7w You can also go to the original youtube video by clicking on the right lower corner youtube icon and then clicking the link next to "wistia link" in the video description. It'll take you to the same video but without the black edges on another video provider. His "passiveness" comes from the lack of movement imo. There were constantly 2- 3 players on him and little or no movement, support, from his team mates. Both De Bruyne and Hazard suffer from the lack of movement. De Bruyne needs runners so he can pick them out with a pass and Hazard needs runners to stretch the game (opening up gaps in the central areas) and get some of the defensive attention off of him. Best example of this is in the video at 2:35. Hazard has the ball but he's up against 3 defenders. Wales has 9 players back + the goalkeeper. We've got 6 players, including Hazard, and not one of them is making any sort of movement to give Hazard a passing option. ( you can even see Hazard spreading his hands open asking his teammates to do something. The only options he has is pass the ball backwards to Witsel, cross the ball in or try and take on those 3 players on his own. He ends up choosing the last option and gets a corner out of it. We also really lack a deep lying playmaker. A "Fabregas" type of player. Someone who can find players in tight spaces, dictate the tempo, allow us to play in a quicker tempo. Hazard tried a number of times to drop deep, pick up the ball and then try and play quick 1-2's to get something going but his teammates either ignored him or simply executed the 1-2 poorly taking away the momentum a 1-2 usually creates. We just don't seem to have an actual system in place. Our only aim seems to be to cross the ball into the box and hope Fellaini or Benteke head the ball in. Instead of actually putting a system in place to get the best out of Hazard and De Bruyne. The best player in England and the best player in Germany forced to play second fiddle to the likes of Fellaini and Benteke. Pisses me of that we're wasting their talents in such a ridiculous manner.
  4. I disagree. I think Terry is the main reason why Azpi plays on the left. Hazard's free(ish) role and not so great defensive abilities do play a part in this aswell but Terry's vulnerability against 1 on 1 situations is the main reason imo.

  6. Juventus got their tactics spot on imo. It's the best way to beat this Barca team. Defend deep, try and press them from time to time, push the fullbacks high (Neymar and Messi rarely track back) and attack with numbers. Only mistake they made was not make the most out of their own chances. They definitely had the chances to win this game.
  7. Found this, bad quality though. https://www.youtube.com/watch?t=1139&v=28qJNZuIuDc

  9. Wth  and he only got 22 years ?
  10. Eden Hazard skills with some F2 Freestylers.
  11. Thanks for ruining my dreams dude....
  12. This thread is fucking hilarious. Our most important player, Koke only marginally better, the reason for our early form.
  13. 100th PL appearance for Hazard. 100 out of a possible 107 (38+38+31). Crazy that he's only missed 7 games and three of those were because of that bs red card he got.
  14. Hasn't scored or assisted since the 17th of january but sure a hattrick...
  15. Don't really get your point ? Apart from both being Brazilian what does signing Nathan have to do with Oscar ?
  16. True, like i said it will all depend on how long he stays and how successfull he his here. If we just constantly loan him out then we'll get little to no benefit. I agree. Like i said it'll take years to benefit from this as ,like you say, they need to become emotionally invested. Again i agree. I don't think we're after him purely because of his marketability or because of some ridiculous clause with Yokohoma. His marketability definitely plays a part but the main reason why we're interested in him is because he's a genuinely talented player. You put it best : " It's about getting a potentially talented player which could end up in first team or resold for a profit, and a potentially lucrative deal on the commercial side."
  17. Imo it works. How well it works is up to the player. A lot of people are focusing on shirtsales and the new fans a team gets by buying a "marketable player" but that's just short term. Like David88 said the majority of those new fans will just leave when the player leaves. The majority won't buy a shirt and even if they did there's not much money to make with shirtsales as the club only gets a small percentage. We aren't going to make millions and gain millions of fans just by buying a Japanese player. It's something that going to take time and will depend heavily on how long the players stays and how successfull he is. The longer the marketable player stays at the club and the more succesfull he is (more gametime) , the more likely it is that more of those fans will be sticking around (and buying his shirt), even after the player leaves and become proper fans. At the end of the day though it's all about getting our club name out there. Club names have become brands now. Any time they'll mention his name they'll mention the club name aswell. Also the fans we gain will also help expand our fanbase further as they'll "infect" other people into showing an interest in our games. I know that might sound odd but ask yourself, how many times has a person become a fan of a club because one of his friends or family members was a fan ? That happens quite a lot.
