I have to admit that he is a good player, I remember when he was still 17 and was impressing everyone. He would be a good signing if you base your opinion on footballing abilities and fit for the current team. But just today I saw the video of him pulling Frank and it really bothered me. Frank is a legend and a great person off the field, and the fans have emotional connections with him. Plus the fact that he might not be here next season makes it that much harder to watch. I guess it is up to you on how you want to see this transfer. I still haven't made up my mind on how I really feel to be honest.

I'd be happy if he goes to the world cup. Because MAYBE just MAYBE he performs decently enough and some club insanely bid for him. MAYBE..

Had an amazing season under Simeone and would add quality depth. I would only sign him on top of another quality midfielder though, and if the signing meant to only be a stop gap to give way for Chalobah/RLC the season after.

I will really miss him, he really became one of us and truly showed passion for the shirt. He will always be a legend in my book and one of the best left backs in the world. What a pleasure seeing him in blue all these years.

Wow I just woke up to this news. I feel sad actually, he is such a likeable person and will be missed. But the fee is just insane, I couldn't believe PSG splashed that amount when they had trouble with FFP. I sure hope we spend that money on a world class midfielder, not paulinho! Yeah, to be honest I felt more upset of his sale than mata's. He didn't get enough chances and if he stayed after mata left, he could've gotten a proper chance and maybe take it as well. Especially the period when Oscar was off form.

Clubs can agree on deals before it opens, just the players aren't allowed to officially move clubs before that date. Just like how we signed Marin.

I love bramble! I remember when I was younger, me and my dad used to find something funny in his defending every game we watched. Even when he doesn't do anything wrong I'd just say his name and chuckle. Ah good memories.
