Would be good enough as the 6th AM I think. Besides, isn't he the toughest player Luke Shaw has played against?

I will ask him when I meet him! Hopefully I can one day come for a visit. I love middle eastern food in general, and everytime I meet middle eastern people they always have the best hospitality. Quite similar with eastern hospitality, like giving food, etc. Something I miss from being in New Zealand.

I have 1 Lebanese family friend that cooked a dish. I am not sure what it is called but it was chicken in tomato based sauce and the rice had small noodles mixed in it. Amazing stuff! Would like one day to visit for sure. Regarding ISIS, as a Catholic it really pains me to see persecution like in Iraq but I also believe that they do not represent all Muslims. Coming from a country with the largest muslim population, I grew up seeing conflicts quite often. But again, those were only the extremist groups and I meet kind Muslims all the time. I think it's unfair to base your judgement on 1.5 billion Muslims by the actions of a few.

I'm not going to get my hopes up, but at the same time it's hard to not get excited. Especially if it means torres out.
-
I will fly him to Wolfsburg myself.
-
Im surprised he didn't mention he was joining the best club in the world. Liverpool really grosses me out.
-
It is disappointing for sure, it won't ever feel right to see him in that shade of blue. But some of the reactions here has been over the top. a 6 month loan will not change his 13 years of service to this club. For me at least.
-
Ah okay, then it should've gotten cancelled after the first season.
-
I doubt it's a 90 minutes movie. Just like Nando's Chelsea career, this movie will be unnecessarily long.

1. Brisbane, Melbourne or Sydney? 2. Have you ever visited any other countries? Great seeing your answers buddy! You were one of the members that I first talked to when I first joined and made me feel welcomed. Thanks for that Spikey, you're a cool OZ!

That is amazing my friend. Was laughing for a good few minutes because of this.

Genuinely excited to have this guy back.

He's not my favourite player, but I don't think he is as bad and useless as some people make him out to be here. He is still a solid squad player for a team aspiring for trophies and he brings some form of experience to a fairly young team. Him staying is not the end of the world, but I do think in the near future he should make way for the younger players like Chalobah and Loftus Cheek. If someone who's never heard of Mikel came and read this thread, they would think that he is more useless than Torres.
-
I would think that he chose City because he wants to stay close to his family since he is a human being with a life beyond football. I don't like him coming to city but the reactions here are over the top, people take football way too seriously sometimes.

That miss against Bremen.. He just walked away from the goal..... Like a broken man, he wasn't even phased by that miss since he's done so many times now.
-
Nice interview. Also good to hear about Lollichon and his variety of training methods.
-
I think it made sense to extend his contract, he is still young and has resell value. Plus, he was really impressive before his injury. I hope that he can regain that form and fight for a place or go for a good fee. Mikel would probably be the excess CM, but he is difficult to move due to his wage and he wouldn't command a large fee.
-
Bahaha! he makes such ridiculous faces. But hey, it works!
-
It will be sad to see him go, but he deserves playing time and I feel Courtois is our future. What a great professional and simply a good guy off the pitch, a true Chelsea legend.
-
So what some of us thought here was indeed true. He wanted to be no.1 at Chelsea??? You can't expect to be no.1 straight away without proving yourself first at the club, not even Courtois have that privilege after 3 great seasons at a bigger club in Atletico. Doing good for Everton is not the same as doing good for Chelsea Such an immature mentality to be honest. Even though I still wish him luck, good riddance indeed. And no he doesn't deserve sympathy. Someone like Sturridge, who fought for his place but still lost to Torres probably deserved it more.
-
Won't expecting him to be as influential for us as he was in the past but he can still do a job for us, especially against arsenal, and I am glad to have him back.
-
Can't express how happy I am to have him. Has always been one of my favorite players purely based on skills and not on where he played or what he said about Chelsea. Can't believe people didn't want him here.
-
He is a good squad player. He is still young and can finish well, just that inconsistency and decision making that he lacks, which will come with age and experience. Be patient with him, he shows he is willing to fight and work hard without complaining.
-
I think we really missed the runs the kind of strikers like him make, and he is brilliant at it too. Saw him running the channels for Spain many times but nobody picked it up since they were too busy short passing amongst themselves. He's got good pace and strength as well, I'm excited to see what will do for the team when he is fully settled.
-
Southampton would've sold him to liverpool for profit if he signed permanently.
