Constant has been very good for Milan since arriving at the club. I always saw him as average but he's proven me wrong. Comes infield too much though.

I can't explain how much I want Milan to win tonight. I can never support Barcelona in any game unless they're somehow against Tottenham/United.

He's not as bad as I and other certain members often make him out to be, but if he was as good as others claim he is there wouldn't be a total jizz-fest every time he has an above average game IMO. He's a solid player, but I don't dig this notion that he's "one of the most underrated players in Europe", because he's really not. In a 4-3-3 system I believe he's one of the best holding midfielders in Europe, yes. In a 4-2-3-1 however I believe he's average, with an occasional stand-out appearance like this one vs. United.

Hoping for an Atletico win tonight purely down to the fact it's nice seeing the top 2 without one of Barcelona/Real Madrid.

So how was he exceptional? Both errors lead to big chances for United. You then go on to mention that this is the first time Mikel has had the players playing in front of him etc. since RDM as if it's the reason for him playing better today. Surely if he's as good as you and others on here make him out to be, he should be playing at this level regardless who is in front of him or where he's deployed, no?

1: If I see "Credit to Benitez for the subs", I may be sick. No credit should be given to an idiot who left Hazard + Mikel out in the first place and started our worst centre-back pairing which led to 2 goals conceded. 2: In general, not good enough. Under Mourinho, we were a counter-attacking and defensive team, meaning none of our players expected to be on the ball much - namely Lampard. Lampard constantly tries to get the ball away from his area ASAP as he likes to be on the END of passes in the final 3rd - not the one making the pass. Ramires is exactly the same.
