It seems to me that he can do whatever he want. Some people comment on him like they don´t want him to do good. I think that everyone at the games is supporting and cheering for him. Why are the keyboard warriors ripping him to shreds after every game if he didn´t score 2 goals and bags 3 assists and blame him on the hefty price tag. He doesn´t owe us anything. He didn´t put up "I am worth 50 million quid". It was Chelsea who got ripped off by Liverpool trying to sign their hero away from them. He gives everything for the team. If it is not happening for him it is bad enough because it´s not happening for the team playing then as well. So instead of making all this worse by creating this hype talk around like "he is shit, he owes us, he is the biggest flop in the history of mankind (drama-ridden overexegartion at it´s best. what does it even mean ? as if the humankind would care if a player is a flop)" we should support him even though it is strange to do that behind the computer/tv. At least try to be reasonable on a messageboard. But I guess I am just oldschool asking for patience or reason.

He is a legend, but Torres did exactly that yesterday, but he was crap, and it was offside, lucky goal,,,, OMFG, give him a break.
Many here were saying that this is a make or break season for torres this season, and i agreed, but now that he is making rather than breaking, people are hellbent on rubbishing him already.
This is a make or break SEASON, not 3 games, in which it just happens to be that hes got 2 goals already.

Ok, he was anonymous for large periods of the game, but at least now he's getting the service he didn't had before. He maybe had 3 clear chances on goal and could even had more. He also showed he actually can create for himself with that fancy nutmeg in the box. How short in confidence is that?The header in the end of the first half was a must, perfect ball from Hazard. True, he did some bad one touch passes, but he just hasn't the technical ability to play one touch football in tight positions. He needs space, but against Reading having the lead at the Bridge, he won't get any.
It's over now with the excuses of not getting service though, if he gets 2 or 3 chances per game, he must score. Luckily, he scored a decisive one and also participated in the perfect build up to the goal. At last he's not being out of luck after all the shots in the posts and all the penalty claims.

He won the Golden boot in a huge tournament, he played probably not even the equivalent of 2 whole games yet he still got the golden boot ahead of so many great players and made a huge impact in the FINAL against a team like Italy. ffs if he played every game he might've got 6 goals and 3 assists. He was good in every match when he was there.
Loved his assist for Mata too, was a truly wonderful moment which i personally loved as a Chelsea fan.

We wait so long to become Champions of Europe, 8 years to be precise, JT captained us through every single one of them campaigns through all the hurt, bad luck and pain. We finally win the fucking thing, JT has to sit & watch it (okay through his own stupid fault) like we do, go through everything us as fans do. We win it & JT is criticised for celebrating with his team mates, he's the captain he should be up there he's contributed to this campaign as much as he does every season. For fuck sake give the guy a fucking break for once in his life, he gets a hard enough time from the English media, seems some of you are allowing them to influence you. The guy is our captain, our leader, our legend & a european champion.
We're european champions just chill out and enjoy it.

why? because as you said, JT as a footballer is a God and that is what we, as Chelsea supporters should judge him on. Not what others or the general population may think of him. I couldn't care less what the media writes about him (not having a go at you, just saying), all I know is he is a club legend and he wears his heart on his sleeve. Like other footballers, he is prone to the occasional brain fade. However, the amount of crap some of the so called fans on this forum are giving him for celebrating the CL triumph is absolutely disgraceful.
