  1. Azpi will still have important role and he is our captain. Kovacic and Kante in double pivot Thiago and Zouma should be the pairing, but I can see Rudiger being favorised by Lamps. Havertz behind Werner and Ziyech-Puli on wings. Mount and Odoi to play big amount of games too. I hope we dont neglect our youth all of sudden because of these new star arrivals...
  2. Will be interesting if we buy a new GK or give Kepa one more chance.
  3. Exclude Giroud, add Kepa and its around 300m ๐Ÿ˜‚ This is some dream team right there... People saying we havent spent much in recent years are wrong, we just spent it on crap and that is finaly improving.
  4. Inter would be best possible option. None PL rivals get him, Juve vs Inter (CR vs Messi) one last time. It would make serie a more interesting.
  5. Great that Valencia explaind Rodrigo is a footballer. I thought Leeds is paying 40m for ball boy
  6. While I agree there is like 1% of Messi coming here, would you say there is any chance we are getting Kai, Werner, Thiago, 60m LB, Ziyech and very likely a new GK in single window a year ago? Its definately not impossible given all the stuff happening around Chelsea these days.
  7. Your gif game is better than your arguments indeed๐Ÿ˜
  8. he realy should leave instead of going on all these loans. He isnt that bad player.
  9. Mate read again, I was talking about Juve. Their midfield is shit. Danilo is shit. Alex Sandro is hot for a month, then shit for next 3.
  10. For one thats a big risk. Maybe Messi wont be that great in PL. Maybe he declines in a year or two. Just because Messi goes to City doesnt mean they will go on to win everything. Their problem is in lack of leaders, cojones, plan b and defensive tactics. They have plenty of firepower upfront already. I mean its likely they would win PL (as if they arent already the clear favourites duh), but who knows. If club could still spend 200m every summer even with Messi, ok you can rebuild. But if you have to commit for next 4 years just to get Messi, that will become one aging side all of sudden and it will take few years to rebuild, at which point other clubs will be winning titles. I was just speaking for Chelsea, because we dont have 200m every summer like City. Its better to build a team for next 5-10 years than commit to Messi.
  11. At the age of 33 its actualy reasonable. Juve fucked themselves royaly with Ronaldo too. They didnt win anything else what they werent winning without him, infact because they forked 100m on him and his wages, they have shit midfield and fullbacks and suck in CL more every year. Messi would destroy wage structure, any future plans. It works for City who are a built team (althrough it would be better for them to spend that cash on proper defence). Besides Liverpool and Bayern dont have Messi or Ronaldo in their team, yet they are miles better than Juve and Barca. Wonder why... Much like with everything, people get spent. Pep met his ends, so did Mou, Messi and CR. Its time for younger players of tomorrow.
  12. Well...we do love to sign players that score against us๐Ÿ˜
  13. so you think we wont sign anyone else?
  14. Inter, Juve had Marotto, Campos in Lille, Monchi in sevilla, Edwards in Pool, Salihamidzic in Bayern, Zorc in bvb...etc etc Obviously not anyone and it isnt foolproof, look at Abidal in barca or Woodward in United. But if you have competent person, club goes in right direction and progresses. We had Kenyon back then. Terrible person, but he build hell of a squad. Managers came and went, the core players were good enough for everyone. When it comes to coach, you always pick the one that suits the players and project. No coach will say no I wont manage Sancho, Kai, Ronaldo, Messi etc. While certain players on other hand, if not playing well are always replacable.
  15. Yup because Lamps is here only since 2019 and we were absolutely superb on transfers before right? We also created hell of a team project in the last 10 years ๐Ÿ˜„ I couldnt give 2 tosses if Marina only job is to negotiate. She is a director of football or whatever we call that and this position DEMANDS knowledge on scouting and players because that is how a project can be successful. If she is only capable to work with numbers and negotiate, she doesnt have the right qualifications and shouldnt be DOF at all. Neither should Lamps or any other manager pick these players. Managers come and go and you are then stuck with bunch of Jorginhos who dont fit. Every club needs a DOF who picks the strategy and follows a long term project. Which manager and players to bring has to tie in so that everything progresses and works. No wonder we have been a total clusterfuck in europe and PL (with exclusion of two titles who were definately not a proof we are anywhere near dominanant and improving side because we were crap in europe and the following seasons after winning title), yet you seem to be perfectly content and happy with that. The entire board should be fired years ago for the KDB and Salah fuckups, not to mention all the garbage we spend the cash and time on. So yeah, I will judge Marina to be anywhere near deserving a praise once this season actualy kicks in and Kai, Ziyech, Werner, xyz deliver results.
  16. Yes I think Zouma will love it we finaly have a capable set piece taker.
  17. Makes sense because these english "talents" earning 100k since they are 18...and obv goes only up with every new contract. Still 190k for Chilwell is ridiculous. 60m and that wage...damn if he doesnt work out, what will people say? Lamps, Cech, Marina, Cole out?
  18. Well yeah Ziyech isnt a goalscorer. People shat on Willian not being good enough scorer on RW, yet Ziyech is not much better there. But will probably rack up some assists. If not, he will be on regular roast here at TC.
  19. thats down to Pep rotation, so you have bunch of plyers sharing goals. If we have cemented front 4 in Puli, Werner, Kai, Ziyech; it could happen.
  20. For me it was Mount. Maybe not the best individual, but the development he made was fantastic. Gone from no games to being regular was crazy. Tammy, Tomori eventualy got rotated, but Mount was there almost always whenever fit. His attitude is top too. Gives 100% on any position he is demanded to play and works hard for the team. Seeing James, RLC, Odoi in games where they just walk around in casual mood, then there is Mount fighting for every ball. He played so many games, proved to be key in plenty, especialy in first half of the season when we were still wondering how we will replace Hazard; and played best football this season. So yeah, my vote goes to him. If Pulisic played more games at the level he played, he would edge it. Kovacic despite being very reliable didnt realy amaze me. He is crazy talented, but he doesnt demonstrate it often enough. He could be fantastic ball carrier and playmaker, once he gets to that level, I will put him at the top. Until then, no. He was expected to perform great given his talent and abilities and while he performed well, he has much more to show.
  21. What about prior to Lamps arrival? There was Emenalo before, but who was responsible in the time between? I am not critical based on this summer, but more with history of Marina deals. Who made decisions on Drinkwaters, Kepas etc?
  22. Who are we going to blame then if Kai, Werner etc flop like Morata? Who is then actualy responsible? And dont say Lamps because if he makes these decisions, blame is on the one who authorised him to do so.
