Odoi probably would, RJ maybe. So far RJ has been rather overrated. Not that consistent with crossing, given he poped a few long range shots last season; he has done realy bad in that regard this season. Defensively hot and cold, but he is young and will improve. Finaly his attitude is just shit. He is like that kid on high horse, thinking he has done it all, while he should be busting his ass for the team. Its harsh to put it this way, but its quite true.

Besides the De Bruyne and Salah mistakes, not signing Modric and Alves given they were practicaly ours is dissapointing. What could have been...
-
Herrera and Paredes in midfield for Psg. If they lose this, its their own fault for picking such average midfield...
-
Perisic is likely going to stay. And if they sell Thiago, Javi Martinez and Tolisso, they will need to invest in midfield. Sure they could say feck it and sign Havertz, but they have a starting front 4 and I dont think Havertz will agree to be a bench option. Just like Werner didnt want to be for Liverpool. And while Greenwood is good talent, United is clearly looking for another player. Sancho, Costa, Coman, Havertz.. I guess either Bayern, United or even Barca could sign Kai if they get funds, but my gut says it is either going to be us or United.

Check this out and read the comments 😄

He can be a great player, problem is he just doesnt switch up often. Same with Ozil. Thats the modern mentality for some players. Hopefuly Havertz, RLC and James improve on that.
-
Bayern wont go for him this summer even if they sell Thiago. They already have Lewa, Sane, Muller and Gnabry as their front 4. Havertz would want to be a bench option. The only contender is Manu. Althrough they need a proper winger, I can see them try to get Havertz and stick him on the wings just so they get a big talent on that right side. But that said, Im fairly confident he will be here. Chelsea likes to keep things undercover and then suddenly we sign someone.

Should be Drinksy

Despite Lautaros not brilliant record, he is by far the best young striker out there. Been saying that for ages, yet people rated Icardi over him. Goals are not everything. He looked out of pace for a while now since barca rumours, but hopefuly he decided to stay.

I guess you mean me being his hater? No I just think its stupid to jump on bandwagon about any player how great he is this quick. If Pulisic keeps this form he will be on 20 goals, 20 assists per season guy which means he just got extremely great start to his life in england. But hardly achievable, since that would make him the best player in england by mile. Morata was great in the start too. Every player has a honeymoon. Then a drop. And then we see their actual level. Im not saying Pulisic will flop, its just funny people jump on bandwagon so quick and if he for whatever reason flops, same lot will be shitting on him. And lastly, we yet have to see how Pulisic copes with the schedule next season. If he stays fit, that is. Im by far not his hater, I even had him in my FPL team post corona, so if anything I believed he will perform realy well. Meanwhile Eden comparisons are nonexistent. Eden had couple top seasons with Lille, played everyweek in and out there. But yeah you can accuse me of not hyping up a player (any player, not just Pulisic) after a couple good games because thats idiotic IMO.
-
if thats the case, our board learned nothing and we wont build quality side at all.
-
Shown qualities? That I said he doesnt have? Obviously he is a quick player and will demonstrate good game and show his abilities. Even Morata demonstrated his qualities but went to become a complete flop. But I specificly said back then 1.) He is weak. He cant shield the ball like Hazard 2.) He is injury prone 3.) He isnt prolific Now he shown glimpses he can be decisive sure. But other two are still true. Eventualy opponents will figure it out how to defend as they always do and then comes the time for real evaluation of the player if he can adapt to that. I never said he isnt good and quick dribbler. Bottom line there wasnt enough time to evaluate him. He had two very good spells, no point in calling him the next Hazard yet. CHO was great last year too. This season not so much. If he does that sure, I will be happiest guy in the world. I wont care if I made misjudgement because that will mean he is doing well for Chelsea.
-
For anyone saying but Lamps wants him, so he must be good. Yes Lamps was a great great player and played with great players, but just how long is he a manager and how experienced is he with transfers? Right. And surely there will be english bias etc. Chilwell might turn well, but every single fan prefers cheaper and better alternatives. If Chilwell flops I hope the board gets sacked and we get someone who knows market better.
-
Before calling me out I was wrong about Puli, lets make sure he can deliver on regular basis. Staying fit is also a part of it. Because I clearly mentioned his injury record back then. Hazard and Costa can only do so much. Our wingbacks were average. Cesc was shit without the ball. Liverpoop didnt win shit either with their front 3 until they signed Van Dijk and Alison. When Puli leads us to domestic title, I wont complain one bit mate.
-
I was sceptic about Puli and for 65m someone who didnt exactly pull brilliant numbers and was injured, its normal. I also said I will support the dude, like all players but that is forgotten? Then again Puli had great few games. Anyone, even Alonso or Jorginho had a run of great games. Im not just gonna change my opinion after couple games and join the bandwagon. Yet people are already calling him next Hazard and that he will be better than Hazard. Maybe. But lets wait if he can actualy deliver entire season of this. Then I will say I was truly wrong about him. It was same about Jorginho. I was sceptic and yet he had a good run, but ultimately wasnt good enough. Puli has a long way to show his worth. Few games are nothing compared to whole season of leading us on next level, like Costa, Hazard did in recent history.

juve have turned into a joke club. Sold Cancelo. Replaced Vidal, Pogba and Pirlo with that toss of Khedira, Ramsey, Matuidi, Rabiot. The only decent was Pjanic. Buying Higuain. Benching Dybala. Biggest mistake however was buying aging CR. He is great player, but you aint winning the CL with Matuidi, Pjanic, Rabiot, Bentancur, Khedira, Ramsey midfield man. Not to mention Danilo. And then they spend 70m on CB where they already had Chielini and Bonucci... They went downhill since Marotta left. And inter on other side is rising. Speaks volumes what means to have a capable sporting director. Back in the day, Kenyon was the most important part of that Chelsea era. Not Roman, not Mou, not Terry, Lamps and Didi. It was Kenyon. He connected all of it together.

Leverkusen CEO said Kai is ready for the next step just last week. IMO the rumours have gone silent because pretty much everyone knows at this point Kai to Chelsea is not a surprise anymore. The only next step is official confirmation. It was the same with Werner. Apparently he agreed terms and then it was nothing for couple weeks and then announcement. With United and cash I meant they have enough for Kai. They were willing to pay 100m for Sancho, but Bvb wanted 120m. But 100m would be enough to buy Kai. They dont need Kai, they need proper winger. But you know how clubs work these days. United has cash and they will hope to land a supertalent now with Sancho out of the picture. And there arent many bigger talents than Kai out there. But IMO this is a done deal. If it wasnt all bs since the beggining and Kai realy wants us etc, then its done deal.
-
Liverpool was in for Werner, but Liverpool was undecisive about the move and Werner is here. If the reports that almost all is done are true, then Kai will be here sooner or later. Its big transfer and this takes time. But if we are ducking around, I can see United get ahead. They too have UCL, and after sevilla loss they must improve and have money since they didnt buy Sancho.

thats the thing. Hate on the media for being subjective twats. Hate on fans for being twats. If the players are twats and get cocky, I will dislike them. I never liked Fabinho or Henderson. But their front 3, Alisson, TAA, Robertson are good players. I despise Barca and I couldnt stand Alves, but man he was superb fullback. Or Ramos. Dude is actualy a twat. But anyone would kill to have a captain like him. If Klopp and his team plays well and entertain, credit where its due. I mean when I was younger, I remember it was popular to hate on them, but eventualy it makes no sense, its childish to me nowdays. Unless I watch a game and they dive and cheat, foul, sure thats disgusting and I hate them, but what happens outside or with media, the fans, I mean I couldnt care less. I guess if you are english and have interactions with their toxic fans and media every day, thats another thing. For me thats a non issue. I know a few arse, united, pool "fans" but they are all good so its not problem. When it comes to clubs, its obvious to hate rivals in england or europe, but its also a great experience to learn how to control emotions and appreciate good players and football. That way you experience more. I used to despise many players cuz they beat us or something and you would go on with oh that guy Alves, Ronaldo, Gerrard etc...they are such cunts yadayada. They aint shit. But at the end they are all world class players. And its joy to watch. But when it comes to games where we play against them..then I turn that appreciation off and its us above anyone. Chelsea win no matter what. 🙂 What pisses me the most however are the refs and var. I hate that more than I will ever hate pool or spuds or anyone. For a while, I even considered to stop watching footie for sometime, I mean the game is good, but refs and var fuck everything up like its rigged. Its impossible to watch then.

Dunk is slow and would never survive our high block. At least Zouma is speedy. All Im saying is for now, if Kovacic, Azpi, James, Chilwell are good enough, so is Zouma if he gets a general CB that can command the backline. That seems to be the main problem for Zouma since he was absolutely great in that season with Terry. Once we will compete for CL, we can always upgrade on him if he wont be on the level. But thing with CBs is that they dont have to be extremely great, you need one great and more so a chemistry, a great system. Like Lyon had it vs City. Or Liverpool. Zouma can be a part of that, he is good enough in defensive duties.
-
Rice and Haverz would cost 160m too, so there isnt much difference. I know they dont play same position, but for me its more important to have a solid midfielder who is good under pressure, mobile and can move forward than another AM like Kai. If we put defence on pause, because all 5 could or should be replaced, but thats impossible, Id prefer Kante-Guimares-Aouar Ziyech-Werner-Puli Plus there is CHO who I still think could be a top player if he gets regular playtime. And we have Kovacic, Mount, RLC for rotation. Kai is simply an overkill to me. Super talent indeed. Maybe will regret if we dont buy him. But with him, our offense goes from great to amazing. We already scored plenty of goals even without Werner and Ziyech, without fullyfit Puli and CHO will get better and better as will Tammy and Mount. Regardless we should be bossing attack next season. So Kai is just that extra IMO. But our midfield with Kai is still shit. Kante doesnt fit his current teammates, so that needs a change because he is still great player and you cant find his type elsewhere. Kovacic is extremely limited. Yes he keeps the ball, but in 70% games, he is just static and doesnt push forward. Without Kai, we can adress that and buy someone who does like Aouar/Thiago etc. As for Rice or Guimares, both will cost around the same, they are big talents, but right now there is no doubt Bruno is the better player. And Lyon without CL next season (unless they win it😁), they will have to sell a few. WHU will hope to hold on Rice forever which will force us to panic buys. If we talk about defense, I honestly dont belive James and Chilwell will be good enough to form elite fullback pairing. Zouma or Tomori could maybe work next to a great CB. Kepa needs replacing with Onana or someone. Thats alot of upgrades and it can be done in around 2/3 summers. But not if we go and spend 80m on extra Kai and 65m on Chilwell etc.
-
Maybe I have a soft spot for Zouma but he is our only defender that takes no shit from anyone. He is just out there tackling, outmuscling, outspeeding opponents. Shit on the ball, rather poor awarness, but that old school CB you need to show authority. Given players gone weak these days, he is one of the few keeping that no nonsense performances. IMO if he had a better partner like Terry with reliable GK, he could still be a fantastic CB. Him and Tomori were forming decent pairing and I understand why Lamps played Rudi then, but given we were complete shit at the back for months, I dont understand why didnt he bring Tomori more. If not for our attack, we would end midtable at best.
-
Well thats not too awful given he had a realy strong season.
-
Ahh 80m. Thats even worse. How much did Bournemouth want for Fraser that was too much for all suitors?
-
haha i see. I agree, Ziyech and Kai if signed will definately adapt to the league in their own way because they have quality, question is if they suit the league. Like Di Maria who is absolute class, just not for PL. Werner isnt technical, so there is always some chance he just isnt good enough for a big club. He could flop easier than other two signings. We shall see. I hope they form some badass attack in couple seasons.
