He is fantastic player, but even if he plays well, Mikel and Rambo will always be the starters ahead of Romeu. Shame realy, as Romeu could be already one of top DM/CMs in league with regular playtime. If Valencia wants him on loan, I would be very happy if he goes, as long we get him back. Because he wont play here much, except from that month when Mikel will go to Afcon. Valencia is great club for players like Romeu, they play CL regulary and have similar passing style football. Im sure he will play lot and once he would return, we would have fantastic DM.

Fellaini is not playmaker nor destructor. I wont say useless, but to compare him to Modric, Alonso or Toure is impossible. And for price of 30mio, there are bigger fishes in the pond, like DeRossi or Fernandinho.
-
Dream option; Falcao/Cavani, DeRossi 'Realistic' one Falcao/Cavani, Fernandinho
-
Personaly I think we create same or even more chances then Manu, but we dont score in the end. Rvp scores even half-chances, we dont.

YES!!! Oh its goal.com...

If any of the Mancs, Arsenal, Lpool,..gets world class striker like Falcao, Cavani, Lewandowski,...and we stuck with this guy (who would be perfect backup though), i will be speechless. As long as Falcao or Cavani will be available in january, we must buy one. If they wont, then its other thing, but if they will someone will buy them like City to extend their Pl title chances and we get Huntellar in the end...well you know the feeling...

He is Ronaldo type of player, not Iniesta. He should be more selfish too. I think that Rdm should allow Hazard to dribble and shot like he did at Lille. Despite he can pass well, he is on different level than Mata and Oscar. They are truly playmakers, while Hazard is also great goalscorer and dribbler (Ronaldo-esque). I fear that Rdm is obsessed with equality in team (no one is more or less important) and that his orders are killing some talents here. He just never dealt with such high caliber talent and he doesnt know how to use it properly. He shouldnt defend so much, but stay in attack. Keep him more in attack and tell Rambo and Mikel to cover back and defend. Also Possession will be vital here and if Rdm cant teach this team how to have 60% of possession, then....

LOL!

Absolutely agree about more experienced player should be in midfield. He is also great authority on field and would kill for his team. Realy sound man. Great tactic (as all italians) and would catch up with Di Matteo quickly, I guess. And can also play CB if needed. The question is if he can play with heart for Chelsea or any other team he would join as he does for Italy and Roma. I have feeling that players who are conected to their teams in Italy (Lavezzi, Cavani, De Rossi, Pirlo,...) would find difficult to leave this clubs and play with same passion in new clubs. Just look at Lavezzi...They are so sentimental and once they leave, they just dont find that form (Lavezzi, Motta,...)

29. And City offered 40mio, but Roma rejected it. Anything below 30mio would be big surprise if he actualy moves, despite he has fallen out of favour from coach.

What we realy need is striker. Something that can finish our created chances. The better striker, more power to the team. If there is any money left, we should go after CM. Best would be to get Essien back or get someone like Fernandinho. Not too expensive. I would love to see DeRossi or Vidal here, but more than that I would love to see world class striker here, and since we wont get both, I pick striker ahead. We could also loan a CM if there is such player right now (something like Sahin would be very good). From CBs, my choice is Benatia. Good, not too expensive, young and experienced. But as long we get Falcao/Cavani I would be super happy

Ask any Lpool fan, he will tell you this: When Rafa Benitez was coach, he played Torres every game all years. Even Nino was injured, he got a week rest and then imediately back in game. No proper rest. When you still feel the pain, but coach wants you to play, its realy painfull. And Torres suffered many after-injuries because he didnt rest enough when first injury came. In couple months, this was getting worse and worse. We bought Torres when he was mentaly and physicaly exhausted. Too much football all those years and no proper rest. Sure the body was against playing and eventualy his mind was elsewhere. He still scored 9 goals in that first half of season, before we bought him, and could actualy get to 20 or so if he stayed at Lpool, but he moved here and with all those mental and body exhaust problems, the pressure caused that final punch in Torres and that was end of him. And for plus, his confidence decreased too. Put all that together and see why Torres is *shit* nowdays. Not service, not right tactics, not ageing were cause for Torres not-scoring, but simple OVERDRIVE of his body and head. Something similar is going on with Vidal recently, check this: http://www.goal.com/en/news/1717/editorial/2012/10/27/3474547/revealed-how-vidals-spectacular-loss-of-form-is-harming-juventus-

Rodri is great talent, but not ready for big stage yet. Year or two should stay in Benfica.
-
He would be great backup striker, but not first choice one, not even for half of season (maybe Im wrong). Anyway we should sign Cavani/Falcao/Lewandowski and this guy as backup. He is experienced, would play enough games, great backup-Berbatov esque. I guess we would need to sell Torres and maybe even Studge, and In couple of years Lukaku would replace Huntelaar and play along Cavani/Falcao. Would be amazing.
-
Well, I would be happy with anyone of the two, but two DMs in pivot pair are little to much for attackingly oriented team. Vidal offers something in attack too. However I just read that he lost his form due to over-playing. He is physicaly and mentaly exhausted.
-
Well Arsenal is arsenal, but in finances they still can afford even 50mio IF they want. Fans will go crazy Im sure and you saw they bought Podolski, Cazorla; different from the past when they were buying only young talents for cheap. I have some feeling they will try to bring very good striker this january, for some reason...
-
I was on Torres side for long time, but its enough. He will never be good here, either way you look at it. Yes Falcao would be great as poacher, Cavani would be great too as he is more versatile. I dont care who we get, as long Torres wont play here anymore. He had 100 chances, he wasted them. His complaining is ridiculous too. He was never 'Chelsea in heart' and I dont realy care if he leaves. He must stop thinking about himself and play for team/with team. Not try, but do.
-
As much I like this guy, right now since Mikel is doing better and better, we dont realy need him. In Italy he plays along Pirlo and Marchisio and he is lone DM. We already have DM in Mikel and De Rossi is good at long passing, but not that great in ball control. He is also not fast and since he would cost 40mio (and already 29), I would prefer Vidal for that price. He is great runner, energetic, never gives up. His contribution in attack and defence is great too. Nice upgrade over Rambo. And since Juve already has great replacement in Pogba, they might sell for 40mio (since they realy NEED money). But I wouldnt be against De Rossi. fantastic tackler and can play CB too. Great persona as well. Just maybe not needed realy.

Makelele was slamed by lot of people when he was in RM. Only the players knew how important he was for them. Once he left, we all know what happend to that team. Mikel has big role nowdays, sure far from being fancy and that shit, but he does his job very well. DMs dont play fancy, but that doesnt mean they are not important.
-
From where did you guys made up that Cavani would be cheaper than Falcao? He is right now among the top strikers around the world (Falcao, Ibra, Rvp) and is the youngest of them. Also Napoli will demand lot of cash and I say that he wont go for less than 40mio pounds. Just wont.
-
Why Del Bosque doesnt call him?
-
Arsenal is looking after Dzeko and Cavani, City after Falcao, ManU after Lewandowski and we will go after Villa? Great... Im not saying he is not good, but there will be absolutely no aerial threat in our team. Fuck.
-
HA! 40mio for this guy? This would be worst transfer in history along Torres...
