Well, he wasnt impressive tonight, had few chances, didnt create any and only one or two shots. Atletico played very bad in first half, tried hard in second, but Valencia was superb in attack and defence, they won 2:0. Superb goal from Soldado and I must say I realy enyojed watching Feghouli. Falcao showed that he is very strong player, not easy to get off the ball and his jumping is fantastic. He run whole game, tried hard, but it just wasnt his day. Was fouled many times, but get up realy quickly, full respect to him for his attitude. So Atletico played similar to us, lot of possesion, attacking, but there was no support, no final pass to Falcao and he didnt create much on his own. Perhaps Im bit dissapointed with lack of his dribbling, would expect more from him realy. But you can clearly see he is enjoying play football, and his ball control is great. I said that he is not good at passing, however, tonight he was great at passing and showed he can be team player. A goal from him would be nice, but the game overall was very exciting and Valencia deserved victory. Tino Costa, Filipe Luis, Diego Godin, Joao Perreira, Adriano and Arda had good game aswell. I was happy to see Ever Banega to come in game in second half, he was always one of my favourite players at Valencia and I hope he fully recovered from injury. Wouldnt be bad to see him at Chelsea someday. Certainly he must stay at Valencia now to gain fitness and gets regular football. Maybe in summer, we could get him.

Ever Banega would be very cheap CM option, Fantastic player, unfortunely he was injured last season. For 10-15 mio, we would get 24 yrs old player with tons of potential. And he was great together with Mata in valencia past seasons. His height (1,73) is question for CM and his fitness is low right now, but before injury, he was realy amazing, similar to Modric.

Falcao was very lucky now, hopefuly he is able to play on...Soldado stepped on his head by accidence.

Striker is priority, not CM.

How will Romeu excell in game if he plays once per two months? Guy is talented, he showed thar under Avb, now he Lacks of play time. Fellaini is great player, but he would play instead of Rambo, along Mikel, and that means too slow midfield. Any way, if we will go after striker that would cost us 50mio, we definately wont go after this player who would cost another 20+mio. We wont spent 70mio this winter, never.

For some time, our problem is/will be consistency. We dont have first eleven, only player that is truly cemented in first 11 is Cech. Hazard, Mata, Oscar cant play all the games, Terry either, Cole, Rambo need rest too. How? Why? Hazard was playing regular football for past three years, not missing single match and here, he needs rest every third/fourth match? I know im being harsh, sure players need rest, but for fuck sake, we have plenty of cover, and for example take a look at Iniesta, Rooney or Xabi Alonso; they play all the time. Maybe every month they might miss the cup game or something, but they always play league matches. Unless they are injured, thats diffrent case then. Our team has first eleven that either sucks (Torres), has problems with inconsistency (Cole, Luiz, Cech, Mikel,...) or needs rest every third game (Hazard, Mata, Oscar). This is some serious problem. Players need to play all the time, together and starting 11 should be always the same (unless there are injuries, bans, or less important games like cup games). Only by that you get consistency and leveling up your game. With all this mixing and tired players, out of form players, etc... you cant expect to play well all games. With Falcao, at least we would get a player than can play every* game without need of being subbed. *maybe rest on every two months.

I had hopes on him for long time. Whats enough is enough. Trying is not. His fear factor, clinical finishing, presence in penalty box, counters,...nothing. He doesnt even shot, he doesnt know what to do with the ball...

He plays well in defensive actions, but indeed his vision is terrible. Im happy with our performance so far, its visible that we play with some reserve, easy and calm. But Torres ruins the picture every time, jesus I hope RDM buys new striker, but I have feeling he realy likes Torres...

I agree that he fits well to our team, but with him and Mikel on pivot, we are only going to concede more goals. We are no barca, to have only 3 (+2 fullback) defenders on the pitch. I remember rumours about Modric-De Rossi pivot, who is enough creative but can also defend well. We should look after such players.

And its big chance that Muniain, Herrera, De Marcos,...leave spain too. But overall, basque players are very hard to move from their clubs, specialy from Atletic Bilbao. Remember Joseba Etxeberria? Player was wanted by biggest clubs from europe, but stayed at Bilbao all his life. Anyway, nowdays younger players will probably go after fame, money and trophies anytime...

The only reason I want Torres to stay is because he is Juan Mata's best friend. Enough said.

Ive heard that he could come as javi martinez replacement. But take into consideration that basks rarely leave spain. Anyway, we should strenghten defensive midfield to give more freedom for attacking midfield. Benat would only upgrade our attack, not defence.

He is playing similar position to Xabi Alonso, right? So he has some defensive skills too? However, he is Bilbao bound. And his price is 20+mio Would love to see him here, but he is too small for CM. If we go for CM/DM, guy should be at least bit taller to give balance to team's height.

Guys, we play extremely offensive football recently. Its impossible not to concede a few goals. Borussia sticks back and waits on counters. That is why people think Luiz is shit and Hummels good. If Luiz would play for Borrusia, where all team defends, he would be league's best CB. If Hummels played here, where only defenders and DMs defend, he could easily end up guilty for many conceded goals. Barca is another example because they keep the ball so well, however when they lose it, their defenders also make a lot of mistakes. Only a realy experienced defender that mastered tackling with plenty of energy and great tactical awarness (like De Rossi) would strenghten our defence. Young defenders have no experience to hold our defence right now. Only perhaps Papadopoulos (who plays very mature for his age) might done some sucess. He never goes forward and sticks to his defensive duties. But in the end its just guessing, even if Papadopoulos would actualy come, its chance that Robby would be still playing Luiz and Terry ahead of the greek, meaning that we wouldnt solve anything with such signing. Personaly, buy De Rossi, who is old enough to give some experience to our side and will eventualy give space for youngsters or buy no one. Luiz and Cahill need to play together for one season at least regulary to understand each other and gain more experience. Luiz needs to be more defensive and we might have best defending pair. Keep faith in Luiz, he has plenty to show.

I dont fucking care if SB is small and not modern enough, its beautiful to me and it has history, that special something. Not many teams have it anymore. I would only support expanding it if that would be possible, but moving from this ground is not acceptable. However, eventualy we will move on because of financial add-ons.
