I have my best friend and we argue all the fucking time (others say its hilarious when we argue), but in the end we are still great friends. Im ''happy'' to see them argue cuz if you dont, there is something more wrong then if you do. All in all as the guy above said at least they give shit about match and game etc.

We will underrate Basel, we are unconsistent over two legs (allways) and Basel are actualy type of team we have big problems with. They are underdogs, but extremely determinated to win. They will fight and press high, something we have big problems to play against such teams who leave us little space. I wouldnt compare us to Spurs cuz it will be completely different match. I honestly dont expect too much, Basel will sure work their asses of. We will be typical Chelsea; little work, underrating opponent, rotating squad and that will lead to another home win/draw and away defeat. Goal difference will probably decide the tie...

You guys do know that Borussia is one of worlds best counter attacking teams right? Lewandowski is brilliant in build up and shit but he is also playing in counter attacking style team. Not much different to Falcao there, however Lewa is very team player, Falcao is just poacher..

I think we wont sign any super star player. Ffp is there and we wont spend 30 mio here and 50mio there so I think Cavani or Moutinho are unrealistic. As much I would love see them here, they are too expensive... So I went for this four players, cheap enough, class and would bring lot to our team. CB: Howedes/Papadopoulos for 20mio. Someone has to replace Terry eventualy and this is great option. Both are leaders in defence, have concentration and would complete Luiz perfectly. CM: Pjanic in 4:3:3 system. 15mio. Extremely underrated player. Hard worker, passionate, young, great deep creator and cheap. 15. ST: Lewandowski for 20/25mio. His contract is running out, he is world class young lad and would add different option along Lukaku and Ba. LW: Schurle. 15mio plus Marin. He would add depth to team, replacement for Marin. 70/75 mio for all four and some players leaving (Torres,...) for 15. We would spend 60mio and have this team; -------------CECH------------ --AZPI--HOWEDES--LUIZ--COLE-- -----RAMBO--MIKEL--PJANIC---- --MATA--LEWANDOWSKI--HAZARD--

He would be great addition in attack, could serve as striker or winger, add some goal threat and long shot he has is superb. But he is not strong enough to comfortably deal with defenders on wing. A winger must have either skill to dribble or some strenght to push through. Schurle has neither of that. For price of 15 mio plus Marin would be very good, but he is priced at 25mio and that is overrated much. Besides his progress has stalled since 2 years ago, he just hasnt added much to his play realy.

Well we all know that Falcao was king of EL scorers, and people were putting him soooo high for scoring all those goals. We can see that Torres can score there too so he is equaly good to Falcao

Well he could do a Pogba (in that case he must be a realy big talent) and get a handull of games next year or he just isnt ready yet. Solely based on champ. performances you cant compare players to those in PL. Its the jump that a player can do when going to PL level from championship. Both Pogba and Chalobah were good talents, Pogba then left and improved hugely. He is three times better player than he was at Manu. So if Chalobah comes, current level wont be enough. He will have to improve quickly and prove himself. What Pogba makes succesfull talent is also his personality which is completely different than Chalobah. Chalobah is humble and all while Pogba is very cocky and wants to play on top level, wants to be in center of attention and his excesive work is certainly paying off. His ambitions are much higher than the ones of Chalobah at the moment. That is why he left United after all. Chalobah should be given 2/3 DM position after Mikel and Romeu. Play him in Fa games, carling games and vs small team games. No need to buy another DM in this case. But at the very moment he couldnt be a starter or better than Mikel here.

He is very tricky one. At one point he can be realy world class (just look last season and some part of this one) but sometimes he is realy bad. In NT he is worse than Torres for us I fear. Could be because of rotation with Higuain and not playing all time, but he might need different club to fuly evolve. His style suits us realy well, he has superb link up when on good day but he is too much of gamble for us to afford. And he is certainly not going to Chelsea for less than 25mio...

A bit ironic is that Lukaku came to Chelsea also because of his idol Drogba to learn from him, but Drogba is gone now...A think having Drogba next seasons (even if just for some sort of coaching role) would be great for the likes of Lukaku to improve...

In a game where opponent completely commands the game (bayern-juve), even someone like Vidal does little to change anything. He was fighting hard (and put some good shots), but his passing was bad and positioning. Could do little to stop bayern attack. In such games, someone like Mikel is better option If you ask me. He stays back and marks opponents not to pass through. Its question of debate cuz he cant deliver attacking options like Vidal, but in our case we have other players who attack. Still it would be nice to have some version of fighting DM to rotate with Mikel in some games (specialy against weaker sides where Mikel lacks motivation)...

He has restricted role, not his skills. Given him some freedom will make him better player.

At Chelsea Mikel has different role then Vidal at juve, Toure at City or Xabi at Real. They are center of their game, everything goes through them. That is why they have more ball, more space and more open play. Mikel is very restricted here. Its Mata who is leader of our team, not Mikel. For nigeria, he has role of leader in midfield and he is BRILLIANT there. He put better performances than Yaya in Afcon tbh. But here, he is restricted to defensive duties. Tackling and intercepting vise he is on par with Yaya or De Rossi. He isnt doing fancy tricks and people think he is boring and isnt playing well. But truth is Vidal is world class at Juve that has complete team now. Back when he was at Bayer he was inconsistent too. What Mikel needs is 10 players he plays with week in week out for few months. Then his consistency will improve. He is 25 years old for DM reltively young. The main problem with Mikel is his restricted game and some motivation. Give him freedom and he will be effective in attack and defence.

I never knew what realy happend to Diego. He was brilliant for Werder, then made dream Juve move and had great season and later he was sold...juve had Diego, Krasic and Elia careers destroyed basicaly. All were promising players and then went missing. Diego had highest ceiling of them all...We will have to be very careful with Oscar, Chalobah, Kdb and Lukaku's development if we want them to suceed.

Vidal or Moutinho for 20 mio each wont happen. More like 30-40mio each. However Juve might be ready to sell Vidal, after all they have Pogba who has incredible potential and is already good enough to be starter. GK: Forster(Celtic) -doubt he would want to be backup but he is great. CB: Howedes/Papadopoulos/Godin - Okore or Zouma are too young... CM: Moutinho/Modric/Benat/Cabaye/Strootman/Gundogan/ CF: Cavani/Jovetic/Falcao/Lewa/Fischer --- Torres, Malouda, Marin, Lamps, Turnbull, Hilario should leave (20mio from sales?) Kdb, Lukaku, PVA and Essien to return.

I see Mikel as good player. You dont. You would replace him with someone else if you could as he is not what you want from DM. If you never mentioned Capoue as Mikel replacement fine, I appologise (even I thought you mentioned him or someone else). P.S.: I said superman (that is general name for someone capable everything) because people expect him do to things he isnt required to do. Nor he can. They expect him to be like Yaya Toure. Toure is pivotal player at City (who has very offensive and open role), who is key of City game along with Silva. He is center of their play and gets ball all the time. At Chelsea Mikel is just DM. Mata and Hazard are players who pull strings and dictate midfield. Mikel has restricted role to make simple passes. Yaya has all the freedom he wants on other hand. And here the players are different. Besides DM role is very important mentaly for player and DMs are usualy older players. Toure is 29 nowdays...Makelele was 30 when he got to his peak.
