Meh...a good player but if I would be buying, it should be older and experienced midfielder (because if Lamps leaves we lack some experience in midfield and a boss to not get bullied). It should be either someone like De Rossi. If not, I would just wait for Chalobah. I mean why the f would we buy Capoue now when we have Romeu Chalobah and Mikel... Capoue also fallen out of France squad, Gonalons, Matuidi and Pogba have taken his place.
-
More realistic option is De Rossi who is same age.
-
Yaya is not typical dm, he likes to go up the field and with Luiz in defence, I wouldnt want Yaya a lone DM here. Either he would work with Mikel or Rambo.
-
Experienced, powerful with good tecnhique, wont get bulied and allround midfielder that can play Cam, lm, rm, cm or dm. Probably he would come if he would want to join us, but he indeed is on decline and spending more than 20mio would be bad decision. And about being cunt, he is cunt for other clubs, his team mates are getting well with him.
-
Yes he likes Inter very much, but you cant say he doesnt like Chelsea. Probably Chelsea even more if there wasnt Roman...
-
Wishere is actualy good player, but his injuries...however Arsenal realy has worse medical team, their players Rvp, Diaby, Wilshere, Gibbs,...are/were always injured. I bet with proper medical team, Wilshere wouldnt be injured so long...
-
Our non strikers might score a lot but they miss quite lot too. This has to improve next season, regardless who will be our next striker. We cant vaste our chances like that.
-
Look at Benteke. If Lukaku can be our main forward, so can be Benteke, dont you think? Besides handling the pressure doesnt come with age, but with experience. Neither Lukaku or Benteke have any bg european match experience. I would love to have Lukaku next year as main forward, but guys be ready to see average season for him. He wont come and bang goals every match. He wont do a 'whoa' moments. He wont score winner vs barca or Real. But he will help the team. He wont be more effective than Torres realy. But next year he will gain experience and get used to play here. A season after, he could be very good, but nothing close to Ibra, Falcao or Rvp. When he will be aged 24 or sth, he will be able to lead the club attack and bang with ease. Again next year dont expect anything big from him. His potential is big, lets say he is on 70/100 developed, so what he is doing at this age is unbelievable. But he is still very unexperinced. He never realy played regulary for us, neither played in CL regulary. I might be completely wrong, but as far I know history of our strikers and young strikers in general, this is most possible to happen. That doesnt mean that I dont support him or whatever, but dont expect from this lad to be some goalscorer next year. Because as I see expectations are very high (like he is 10x better than Torres or Ba, that he will score a lot,...) but when he will dissapoint a bit (look at Ba thread), peopl will run at him and blame him etc. He has superb potential, but as player in general, he is just above average. Yp he scored 13 goals, but so did Benteke or Lambert. The good thing about Lukaku is that he is young and can develop in great st. Another thing is if he fits this team. He is more of counter attacking striker (long ball to him, he needs plenty of space). Sure he could be target man, but to work up to max with Mata and Hazard, he will need to upgrade his passing and first touch massively. Apart from that he already has all for a big guy. But with a team of technical players, he will need to do much more than just score goals from close range, or he could slow our attack down. His techniqe isnt bad (improved from last year), but he will need to imporve it even further. P.S. Yesterday was exactly one year since joining this forum and I must say that its been a very nice year and I happy to join such comunity that supports my fav club. Cheers!

Come on, its visible from moon that Belgium has some sick team. Defence, attack, midfield. They are very young and need to gel, but in time they will be euro semi finals material or even better. Only downside I see is Witsel who will need to go to better league if he wants to be realy good in european competitions.
-
His play style has changed a lot. He now changes wings with Mata, goes deeper to pick the ball, runs everywhere, not just on wing. He takes on defenders much more and loves to dribble. Defending wise he improved, he tracks the ball and sprints even more. Hm imagine him with some good coach and give him a year more to adjust to PL?
-
Well he is also the same guy that become big flop and never lived to potential.Lets say Lukaku under huge pressure scores goal in CL final, but then only sky is limit for him and he bottles it because of too big expectation? I hope this never happens to Lukaku but giving a 20yo old striker main job is risky. Not because of I wouldnt believe in him, but because it could harm his mentality. Yes he is big striker and down to earth, not so flop possible like brasil or french players recently, but he is still teenger in head, lets not forget, best strikers are usualy older, experience and mental pressure control make them top. Sure you have examples of young strikers in smaller clubs, but in Chelsea pressure in 100X bigger than in West Brom. Hell even big players like Cavani, Falcao etc might flop here because of pressure.
-
And is that Mata starring at Eva's ass? Well there is no reason why he wouldnt
-
Lukaku is also different type of striker. As for Villa goes, he would be alternative to Ba and Lukaku. There is one thing I fear about Lukaku. Being striker at top club is hard. Being main striker at Chelsea is even harder. We will need the best coach to help Lukaku in that role and ease the pressure or it could be very difficult for him, mentaly wise. Say whatever, but we need Mou or Klopp type of coach to motivate Lukaku in best possible way.
-
Great prospect but why not take a look at our current squad with all the youth and loanees and think twice?! I mean we arent realy desperate in AM areas right? We will probably play 4:3:3 and where would draxler play? Its already difficult to put Mazacar and Kdb all in one formation, and Draxler is too good to sit on bench. We cant have all talents of this world...just because they play well.
-
If there is any reason to buy top striker it should be Lewandowski. Cheaper for the quality cant go. If Roman gets crazy again and wants best striker in world (for whatever reason) it should be Cavani not Falcao. If club decides to be reasonable, they should buy older, experienced, quality and cheaper striker. No idea who that might be. Villa at first, but he wil pen new contract with Barca.
-
4 points from second, fuck EL as long we can get to second or at least stay in third. Fa is wishful though, but I dont care bout El...
-
Dont get my post wrong, my answer would be Yes too Could end up like arsenal, but hell since when Chelsea sells top players? As long as we actualy work on project, players will understand. Arsenal however has no project. They create and sell. We wil create and keep and win. Enough said.

Commeon this is modern football. All about money. I personaly like to see Hazard on 100k here than elsewhere. He is top prospect and is already showing that. Young talents are no more cheap because they are unproven. Things have changed. They are expensive because they are future of the club. Hazard is future of this club and he came expensive as many other young talents. Sure his week wages are lot, but that could be agents decision too.
-
He aint gonna be our striker. We.are filled in attacking areas already. He is damn expensive. He is cocky. He is unproven. There are other players who are good to. Neymar? Thanks, but no. After all if both Hazard and Neymar reach potential eventualy in same team it would turn in one leaving. Imagine Ronaldo and Messi in same team? Impossible. They would probably kill each other. Why share glory when you can shine in Barca or Real alone? (I think it would be Neymar who would leave, Eden is so much nicer person)

Warm evening in Madrid. Chelsea plays round of 16 with Real. Lukaku starts as centre forward. Most important game of the year for Cfc. Is he ready to handle the pressure? NO. He is not. Chelsea loses in the end, going out of competition. Decent striker's performance, but unexperienced side could not cope with Ronaldo & co. But...he would gain important experience and in few years grow into a brillant forward. --- One million question: Is Roman ready to wait and trust Lukaku despite no international trophies for few years? Are YOU ready to wait and trust our youth? This is the ultimate question if we want this NEW plan with youngsters and attractive football to realy work. Should ask Roman himself, but I lost his phone number, so...

As a striker Ba had terrible game. But as a player, not a bad one actualy. Apart from those misses, he was doing well in team play. However Chelsea needs to play more on striker. Yes, Ba had few clear chances, but striker should be our key player in attack. More balls to him, less misses. Because Mata, Hazard, Oscar can be pretty wastefull despite many goals. This will change eventualy but striker in team is to score goals and he should get the service. Ba was joint top striker at nufc, 13 goals or so and only 2 here. Could be player, but we realy lack those passes like Gerrard does in Lpool to Suarez. Kevin should do this next year at Chelsea.
-
Kdb/Oscar is not ready to play in pivot position in 4:2:3:1 but they could both play in CM/AM role in 4:3:3. Kdb would suit even better, he has bit stronger body, great hold up, vision, long/short ball passing and decent tracking back. Both lack defensive work however. Personaly I see Kdb as very similar player to Lamps/Gerrard and now its perfect time to get into this team and play/evolve together with Mata, Hazard. If board decides that they are not ready to handle pressure, we should then buy another CM but only if Lamps leaves. Benat would be perfect as he is not too expensive and is spanish, would work great with spanish team mates. But if Lamps stays, that is not necessary. He would play in some games while Oscar and Kdb would exchange regulary. Once Kdb would play few games and then Oscar. ----------Cech----------- -Azpi--Terry--Luiz--Cole- -Rambo--Mikel--Kdb/Oscar- ---Mata--Lukaku--Hazard-- And in few years ----------Courtois-------- -Azpi--Howedes--Luiz--Shaw/Bertrand ---Oscar--Chalobah--Kdb--- ---Mata--Lukaku--Hazard--- No need for new players (except defence) Bring good coach, give him 2 years and he will do miracles with this team!
-
Well midfield clarly is a bit weak, but Kdb could change it a lot in 4:3:3. Dont fuck up Gourlay!!!
-
Good one with Tevez, he would come, he is available, old enough not to harm Lukaku and still could take role of sub. But he is still expensive for such player and I just dont see him coming. He is not 'healthy' for the environment we have, could end up with his protests etc... Transfers wise, Gourlay mentioned three players. I can see striker, cm and dm/cb. We wil probably have around 50/80mio eur available, but I cant find single player that we might actualy need. If we go 4:3:3, we get Kdb as am and the creativity in midfield is solved. Lukaku comes in as striker, another problem solved. If Torres leaves, we will need third striker, someone up to 20mio. A cb would be nice to bring Terry permament replacement, before Terry actualy leaves. Another up to 20mio for that player. So we have left with 10-30mio for a third player. Possibly dlp. But is such player realy necessary, Kdb is about to join us (I hope board is not stupid to loan him again), unless he wont be here, then we dont need CM at all. Other way, I would be very happy with someone like Benat, to pair with Mata and Azpi. Moutinho is even better, but damn expensive. --- But by the looks, we will spent lot on striker, sign Fellaini (lol) and loan Kdb again...
