Mou as experienced as he is, he should know better that Ba, Torres and Etoo wont be enough to lead the line. I thought he didnt bought striker because he would give Lukaku chance next year, but that looks unlikely now. Its not like there were no strikers available...Cavani as our long term target for example. Expensive yes, but this is football today. If we bought Cavani, we would probably win a title or two and got all that money back.

I was sure he will bring players together...and he did. But he ended this season on low, 2 defeats and draw recently...plus the relation between Mou and Hazard, Luiz, Oscar,...seems quite uncertain. It could be just bullshit...but Im not even one bit ''happy'' with how our season is comming to end. Not because we crashed out of CL or havent got title, but because team should be united now and defense/midfield/attack solid, players in good understanding. But only defense is solid, and only when whole team defends. Our midfield is crap, always overrun, cant make few passes. Its no brainer we need CM in summer. Our attack...well we started well, but stalled. I see zero connection between Hazard and Oscar and Salah and Schurrle and Willian. Yes they play here together for short time and origin from different countries, leagues etc..but sometimes things just link up and work well. Like Mata and Hazard last year. Also, partly because of draw and boring match (but we should win in first place), our last game at SB this season felt like no one gives a shit. Mou, fans, players...just being there and no one happy. Well I hope Mou has plan for next season. We werent better team last season, but sure we had better attack IMO. Mata left because of Mou, I dont think it was good idea, Mou and Mata should simply fix the problems together, not making Mata leave. It could happen same with Hazard. But hey we can always bring Reus to play with Hazard next season And Cavani and...oh wait...Mou wants solidity in defense. He will bring another CB and DM. instead of attackers.

So you dont mind if Chelsea turns into Arsenal? Personaly I dont demand titles, what I would like to see is better football, think BVB style. Eventualy titles will come too.

I realy hope its world cup thing, because most of players didnt give fuck today...Would be better if we just played Baker and Kalas at some point IMO. Then, even draw, this game would mean something. It would mean Jose counts on young players in next seasons. I mean, players didnt give fuck, we had nothing to lose and Jose didnt even bring youth players on bench? Our defense is solid I must admit, but in terms of attack; just a honest answer please: DID JOSE MAKE ANY IMPROVEMENT IN OUR ATTACK THIS SEASON AT ALL? I hope that is his strategy; improve team in defense first season, then improve it in attack second season. If we bring striker, LB and CM, our attack wont be much better if current players dont improve and connect/play as a team! And when people say we dont need another AM, I think we have enough AMs in term of quantity, but not quality. Up to Jose if he will make any change on that too.

No I just think players forgot how to attack after several games we mostly defended...at least it looks that way. Its Norwich we cant score against...

Last two or three months we are so shit in attack its ridiculous...Mou probably said everyone to defend or they will be benched. Now no one has the balls to attack. Its fucking Norwich at home FFS!

Despite all the money we might gain from sales of Mata, Luiz, Hazard etc if they will be sold, and they would be replaced with players that suit Mou more, I think its just short term solution. Roman will at some point say "I want more attractive football" and we will be in the begining. Luiz, Mata,...have personality. That means a lot if you trust them and give them time; raise them in proper system. They will deliver twice more. Players like Willian follow his manager and when something extraordinary is required to be done by themselves, they freeze. You need hard workers and open minded players in team working together. How to connect them is manager"s job. Mou couldnt do it in Real, I hope he will do it in chelsea. I tell you if Mou will cut all players who try to attack bit more and replace them with defensive oriented ones; we might see Mou team in best, but that team might win you titles, it wont win fans hearts, speaking generaly. I loved 2012 campaign, it was magical and we defended, fought for evers ball, but that was limited team, we have several offensive players now (and we will get some more). I love football because it gives you all those goal actions, attractive play etc. I can accept we park bus in most important games of year for the sake of winning title, but general play has to be "nice", attractive and something that makes fans woaahh after fancy moves; collective actions etc. We are Chelsea ffs, not some bottom team with no attacking sense. It has nothing if I will support Chelsea or not, I will support Chelsea even if we play 10 CBs, but from a team who spends all that money, has all those world class players, I think ambition is to play nice, watchable football.

Yeah but generaly both City and Lpool have one of worst defenses among top teams...just look at amount of goals conceded by Barca; Real, Bayern, Chelsea (who all play with one striker) and compare with City/Lpool (who play with two strikers)The best would be to play either 4:2:3:1 or 4:3:3 (if we get proper players) in CL and PL big games, while we go for 4:4:2 in smaller games, against teams that park bus. But for 4:4:2 to be effective, we would need two high quality strikers (Costa + Benzema/... and 3rd choice Etoo/Lukaku/Bony). Meaning we would have to spend big time on strikers alone (two high quality strikers).

I still think he is something realy special. And he will show it at world cup. I just hope we dont sell him, he has that passion that almost no one else has in current team. I feel if we get our LB, CM and striker done, if we stop concentrating on defense THAT much, Luiz could work in pair next to Cahill or sth. Hope he finds consistancy, matures after world cup and seals his place in our starting 11. It will be sad to see him play in Barca/Bayern where he would prove us wrong. He is top defender IMO. I still cant believe people 'want' him gone. I would understand if actual official bid for like 30/35mio would come, but not because of some BS reports. He is top person, funny, gets along with team, never complains, works hard, always performs in big games and most importantly loves the club. Something you rarely see nowdays.

The sad part is that he was actualy our best CM before Matic came, and a very good one too. Always involved in game; was one of our leaders, stepped up when needed. As soon as Matic came, he massively decreased. I remember he was one of best players along Mata and Luiz last year, and one of better this season before turn of the year. Now, he is reaching Mikel level of usefullness sadly. Cant believe that so many of players we buy cant fill the potential/form and improve. Ramires, Luiz in first place, all strikers we aquire, then Schurrle, Willian, Oscar,...last three still have time thought. But I realy expected more from Ramires and Luiz when they came. Never realy understood Ramires buy, as he is jack of all trades, but master of none, someone who can only be sub player in world class team But Luiz, I realy hoped he could somehow step into shoes of Carvalho. Well, maybe he will one day if we dont sell him first...

I would keep Hazard at any price. Kid is special and no other player available has higher ceiling IMO.

I love this guy but we should move on...if he comes as coach, great; but not as player. We need young blood who will give 200% and speed up game against smaller teams...

Looks good, but I dunno, we need some quality not quantity in our attacking mid if any at all...We can just put one of our youngsters instead of Calhanoglu in first team if thats the case.

Well as much Varane is top CB, we already have Cahill, Terry, Iva, Kalas, Zouma and Luiz playing there, it makes no point of spending another 20m for him, while we need to strenghten attack and midfield first. Besides, what was the point of buying Zouma then? If we splashed another 12mio for player who wont even get proper chance here, I dont know what the board thinks when buys such players.

Im sure if three strikers leave, we will buy two strikers. Jose wont go into season with Costa + Etoo/Lukaku. He will want to have his 3rd striker. Either Bony, Immobile or Remy would do just fine. Speaking of Costa and Benzema is unrealistic, but that would be amazing.

If we get him and he proves his worth, I cant wait till Lpool, Manu, City feel how it is to play against Chelsea WITH striker. And I have been watching Suarez, Rooney, RVP cuntish acts, cant wait till Costa puts a few on his own. Feel some of your own medicine fuckers. But for god's sake, dont turn into another flop.

Last home game of the season. Mou and players; for the sake of fans, demolish Norwich and show the world we can attack. We have nothing to lose, we play at home, our players need to feel how it is to play bit more offensive and enjoy the game before next season starts. Use these last two games for experimenting in attack. Please.

Cant complain overall, maybe I expected at least 2nd place in PL, but we will be extremely close to that, points vise, so it doesnt matter. Getting into semis of CL, I didnt believe we can get this far, but yet we did. No failure there. Results vise, I am not disappointed at all. We had chance to win title and blew it vs fuckin' sunderland, but it happens. What Im more disappointed is the way we play, we cant break small teams, we cant pass, we cant execute proper attacks. I dont mind playing bit more defensive, but our attack has been dreadful this season with few exceptions and individual skill. The sad part is that we actualy played better attacking football at start of season than now. It should be vice versa, Mou will have to work on that. Im sure no one will complain here over ''parking the bus'', should we win titles, but Im also sure everyone would love to see more attacking mentality in our game, for example last year BVB. If Mou can take that style here, I wont ever complain about anything. Im just not sure if Mou can make our team counter attack as connected and ''nice'' as Klopp did with BVB.

The question I ask myself is what formation are we going to play next season? Sure we have rotated between 4:2:3:1 and 4:3:3 this year already, but I think for our counter attcking football and considering how hard we drive ball forward, it might be better to just start playing 4:3:3. There are few things, we never play with typical #10, Oscar isnt such player and his role is different than #10. To play counter football, the transition of ball from midfield into attack has to be FAST. Matic-Rambo/Luiz/xxx sit deep and they never put ball forward fast enough (well maybe Matic). One thing; we need new CM or B2B who will drive ball forward. Vidal, Pogba or more creative Pjanic/Raktic could do the trick. Now the midfield would then look Vidal/Rakitic-Matic-Oscar The thing with oscar is difficult; he should be our most creative player and Matic is decent at that too. There should be no need for Rakitic (or any other creative CM) then. Vidal would slot perfectly. But since Oscar is not as creative, we might need another deep playmaker like Rakitic. It weakens our defense then, and one might question what would be the role of Oscar then, if Rakitic is our creator... Another positive thing from 4:3:3 is winger play. In such system, wingers could turn deadly. Unlike 4:2:3:1 where we have no depth and likes of Willian keep going in middle and dont cross. Therefore, our only winger is Hazard (and Schurrle, Salah) but we might need another winger like Vela, DiMaria,...who is much better at giving crosses to penalty area. Wingers play faster and give usefull balla into centre, right onto our attacker. That is fast,efficient and our counters would be much better. Wingers would cooperate with fullbacks better too. Unfortunely for this system to work perfectly; we would need either 3/4 top players added or have another transition period... -------------Courtois------------ Azpi---Cahill---Terry/Zouma---Luis? Vidal/Rakitic?---Matic---Oscar/Koke? Willian/new winger---Costa---Hazard Also Willian could play in midfield three, but such players will never be brought here IMO. Too expensive etc.. I think 4:3:3 would work better, but we dont have proper players realy. I hope we get lb, cm and st, then maybe just maybe AM/RW if we sell Oscar who realy looks unfit in this formation, but give him time first. Any thoughts on this?

Yeah but we still play terrible football when comes to attack and won no trophies. Sometimes, you make your team win ugly or you try more open, attacking football and ib few years, trophies come. Mourinho was "protected" for playing such defensive tactics because he won everything. But recently; he still plays same tactics, our team is terrible in attack (might even lead to players leaving) and we dont win anything (not that I would demand trophy this season but still). I hope Mou implements at least bit more attacking football, or better; make our attack play with some patern, sense and efficiency. I always said either you play ugly but win trophies or play nice football and maybe in few years get those trophies too. We arent closer to any of the two.
