Even if he arrives, I wont get too excited, the striker history is terrible here in past few years... Lets wait and see how he does, then we will talk, get excited and shit.

Otherside is that Shaw is one of few (if not only) who would get into our team from english players who are available. We will need one/two english players in first 11 to keep the tradition. Those two should be Shaw and Barkley eventualy... The question is if board is ready to splash more cash or play without single english player in starting lineup (Considering Cahill wont be here forever and we know how impossible is for youth players to break through here). At first I fast against paying that much, but we would get premium talent, one for next 10 years and english plus Chelsea fan, sometimes you just have to take risk. And he isnt bad player at all. Under Mou, he might reach high level in very short time (Varane esque).

Kovacic looks promising....but Im sure Mourinho wont get such young player to play in such important position, in year he targets trophies. Would be future buy, but Kovacic is total opposite of midfielder that Mou will be looking. Besides in such defensive side, Kovacic wouldnt fulfill his potential anyway.

I remember watching UEFA CL magazine before first game against Napoli, where Cole was guest...he said that its last chance for old guard to win it and they will try hard...that day, I realized it realy is last chance and I wanted them to win it more then ever, I loved how optimistic Cole was. And then, few months later we won it. Legend.

We actualy played realy nice between 60 and 75th minute. Attacking, free flowing football with lots of quick passes and quite a few chances (plus 2 goals). As soon as we scored 2nd goal, we pulled back again and whenever we went in attack, players were selfish and tried everything on their own (and fucked up)...last few minutes, we played well again. I want to see more of that football we played for those 15min between 60th and 75th minute. It was perfect example how we can break opponent. With proper striker, we can be even more dangerous. Nice to end season with win, glad we turned it around, should do it more often.

People keep saying Mou brought balance and united team and positive envoronment and carefree performances...I think people's wishfull thinking is like that because of Mou first time. But this season is nothing like one from 2004, 2005... I dont see anything seriously improved; except defence. Our attack is not even closely to what someone would call unit or team work, we still lack number of players, we still lack efficiency and passion, winning mentality. We dont even try to give youth players a decent chance, even in such games like today vs Cardiff. Our attack is disjointed, we cant make two passes, we rely on individuals who eventualy cant even shot on target. Our midfield is overrun by fucking Cardiff and we dont even care, we cant put any kind of pressure or desire. Even if its just a pointless match, those players still play infront of fans and wearing CFC shirt, its embarassing to see them like they dont give single fuck if they lose.

One would think that a side with such expensive players wouldnt look soo dumb in front of goal... And Oscar...he realy starts to piss me off, his excuse for WC will last only this game...no more excuses next season

Realy hope we win our last match, put a decent carefree performance, play Baker at some point and win.

Rodriguez probably suits us more in footballing terms, while Shaw suits us more in club terms (english, fan, young,...) Be it Shaw (I like him more as he is english) or Rodriguez (better Lb atm and cheaper), I think we will have massive upgrade in fullback department.

Just curious, but where will Bvb play all these AMs? They already have Reus, Kuba, Mkhitarjan, Aubameyang and few others who play in three positions...soon Adrian Ramos and potentialy Immobile will arrive. And Firmino, Kagawa linked with Bvb too. Looks like Aubameyang and Reus are leaving. Kuba, Reus and Mkhtaryan are all better than Firmino, unless Reus leaves, Firmino will be bench player. And Im quite sure Reus will leave if Bvb signs Firmino.

I feel brasil players perform completely different than they in clubs. At least most of them. Paulinho plays better there because he has bunch of brasil teammates around, added motivation and specific coach. From Luiz, Paulinho, Gustavo, Oscar, Fred, Neymar even all play better there. They aint wc player, but work fantastic as team. One individual here wouldnt perform as good.

We have so many young talents...hope we dont fuck up with all of them. With proper development, Pasalic, Traore, Baker, Rlc, Mvg, Lukaku maybe even Atsu, Thorgan, Piazon could become starters. I will be happy if one of them makes it here.

I would think this way; IF Hazard, Oscar and Willian reach top form and be consistent, there is absolutely no need for Reus. If one of those three wont reach that level and will be average at best (like Oscar second half of season), then he will be sold and someone will be bought instead, probably top quality player like Reus.

If we are about to play same defensive football, Moreno has no place to look here. He would be same situation as David Luiz...we need to know what style we play and then buy players that fit the style perfectly. A 21 yo spanish attacking LB is not what Mou wants in his defence. As much Moreno is talented and will probably become next Alves, he simply doesnt suit Mou unless we will play at least bit more open next year. To buy Moreno so that he will stay back every game and defend is waste of his talent...and we all know Mou wouldnt let him roam on wing.

Dzeko wouldnt be a bad choice either...but I doubt city would sell to us.

Modric did play for real last season in pivot too. I would love to have proper Dm and CM ala Alonso in pivot. Unfortunely, neither Matic or Javi are close to how great Alonso was in prime. His long balls were amazing. Javi might be close but he doesnt have that leadership and playmaking ability.

Instead of going after two strikers and potentialy AM, we might just try to sign Costa and Walcott. Walcott can play as striker or winger and would solve many problems here (if he stays fit). Plus he is english.

Well he has to prove a lot. He turned from realy hard working and efficient player into someone who doesnt realy give shit. Wc up or down, he should play as best as he can. Good thing he is young and Mou will either turn him into very good player or sell him for big money.

What for? Why spend another 30-40mio on another DM? Yes he is good, but we already have Matic in that position. Once, I wanted him here. But now we have Nemanja. I would prefer to spend more on Striker, lb and proper allround CM and if any money left on realy quality AM (with option that either Schurrle or Salah leaves). We dont need every player who might be available...

Wonderfull person, shame it didnt work out for him here...he is one of the players that got imediately into our team, fitting perfectly. No one thought it will be so short, but this is football.

I would swap Schurrle with Reus in second. Indeed, Schurrle got into our hearts with his love to the club, but in this case, I would take Reus. He is simply amazing player.
