Amazing achievement! Im realy happy Atletico got this trophy, result of hard work, before team slowly falls apart though. Cant wait to see him in Chelsea in next years, I dont mind if he goes on another loan next season, as long we have guaranteed his future.

Yaya Toure also looked only decent when playing at Barca, a team that couldnt play to his strengths. He had very limited role at DM and CB, yet he become world class CM in Premier League. Song was beast in his last season at Arsenal, perhaps he went to forward for a DM, but he would have Matic next to him, so it wouldnt be a problem. Most importantly, playing for Barca, you cant judge his ability. They play him on fucking CB position, he is DM or box to box. They completely limit his ability, play him only to stay back and protect goal. And he doesnt play much or regular either. Would consider him getting for decent price, but only if he is in good physical shape to replicate Arsenal form.

Shame Ramsey is Arsenal player...he is exactly what we need in midfield next to Matic. Creative, yet good in defending duties. He has top passing, works hard, knows how to put a good tackle and on top of that, he scores goals. Premier league proven, young and british...too bad he is a gooner, too bad.
-
I didnt meant to buy world class for every position, but just where we need it. For example; we are short of quality CM now. So we buy top one for bit more money and we are fixed for next 5? years...but no, we will buy decent one now and he will not deliver, next summer we will sign another decent one and sell the older one etc...like Moses situation. We bought him, then loaned him, we bought Salah instead...and Marin before all that.
-
Napoli, Spurs have proved that one world class player is better than 5 average ones. They sold Cavani and bale and bought several prospects yet unproven and they both had average, some would say bad seasons. Thats the thing, I would prefer us signing world class player (or high quality one) every year instead of going after 5 decent ones every summer (at least in most cases). One Hazard is better than 5 Salahs or Schurrles...we should sign top striker and top midifelder, not Firmino or Halkanoglu or Mandzo or whoever we been linked with...for bench, we can use youth players or those on loan...for starters, we need quality though. Youth players would benefit too. Why we signed Van ginkel of we have Baker, RLC and others who look promising enough...Baker could be easily 3rd choice CM next season with regular games in carling cup and maybe FA...and sure with suspensions, injuries etc...he would get some time in PL too. If wont work, just loan him in january. One most important thing: Mou must have trust in him and see him as future...or elsewhere its pointless. I dont want us to sign anymore young prospects or squad-depth signings as we already have several such players on loan and in academy. If we are about to sign anyone it should be quality players as we need to add some quality and experience to the side.

If I have to pick between Costa+Lukaku or Costa+Mandzukic, I would pick Lukaku anyday. I feel scoring for Mandzukic at Bayern isnt that dificult with all their AMs playing fantastic. The other story is CL and big games where Mandzukic never realy impressed me.. also how will he score here in pL with stronger defences and less support, i dunno. On other hand, Lukaku is proven in Pl and much younger, would be worth a shot at least until january and then sell/loan him and get another striker if things wont work...

If Juve tells everyone that Vidal is available for 36mio, then all big clubs, including Real and Barca will jump on that boat and price will go up massively... To get him, we will either have to pay 50mio plus or exchange for a player (Lukaku, rambo,??) and money... To convince Vidal to join us instead of Real or Barca is the other tricky part of the deal...
-
Yeah remembered he has just a year left...well he might go for 25/30 and I dont see point in Madrid having both Modric, Rakitic plus Isco and Di Maria etc...all playing for those two spots in 4:3:3. Surely they will sell someone if Rakitic comes IMO.
-
Yeah agree but a little praise wouldnt be bad either...most of the players followed Mou defensive approach despite they might want to attack more. And after such season they might like to hear from manager that they did at least decent job.
-
If Real gets Rakitic for 40m, they might be ready to sell Modric, no?
-
If he gets promoted as second choice, Cole will probably leave...cant see Cole being first choice (due to age). Unless Mou wants Cole or even Azpi as first choice LB and bring Moreno/Rodriguez/Shaw/...only as backup? Which makes no sense...Azpi is Rb and Moreno or whoever we buy should be starter on LB...
-
In terms of situation, he reminds me heavily on Pogba...same age, big role in u21, quite some recognition and winning titles with youth team... Im sure he could be backup next year, he is 19 already, its time to give him a chance.
-
He is great but he is CAM and not CM...
-
Funny everyone forgets to mention Leandro Castan who had great season with Roma...
-
Have we been linked with Kovacic at all? Great prospect, but I dont see him coming here...
-
If Oscar complained or not...the only thing that is important is that he improves next season big time and fulfills Jose trust in him. As far as Im concerned, he should stick his mouth closed, he had downfall in second half and its his own fault that he got benched eventualy. But its clear he wasnt with his head at Chelsea for quite some time now...
-
The only downpoint was when Jose said they didnt play well...he should tell players they did good job but to do it even better next year... Instead Jose made it look like players were shit this season...
-
As goes for Lukaku, he can score goals no doubt. But we need more than just finisher, we need allround striker. Mata (bad off the ball work) was great in certain things, but he was bad in other. Luiz too (inconsistent). And Ramires (terrible technicaly). We need complete players, those who can do whatever manager demands from them. For small teams Costa-Lukaku would be very good though, but those two are very similar players. Manchesters had Aguero, Rooney (creators) and Dzeko, Rvp (finishers), while we would only have two finishers who rely on strenght. Lukaku shouldnt be sold, he could become very good striker in few years, but I doubt his allround game will improve much.
-
Yup. We beated pool and city in both games yet we finished behind them. The only reason were lost points against small teams where two class strikers would make big differece.
-
His finishing is dreadfull. Thats why I cant see him in first 11. Mou system bases on counters where all attackers (not just striker) must be capable of scoring goals and not being selfish. Salah is quite bad in finishing and asissting, thats why I dont think he will get into starting eleven. But he is good backup though.
-
Yup, however I would be more than happy if at least one makes it here.
-
Happy for Baker. The lad just has to succeed here. We have CM next to Matic open for him and we need to slowly get him into that role. Get experienced CM now and then let Baker take it over.
-
If any we need more quality and not quantity in the AM department.
-
The guy was in starting eleven and was dropped this season, but never complained. Followed Mou orders and stepped up when he got a chance. He understands whats best for Chelsea and respects that. He will do his best and try hard. A player who is such professional shouldnt be allowed to leave. His devotion to the team is amazing, too bad the club (if they accept money for him) doesnt give this trust back. I think Luiz (and before Mata) were made for Chelsea as club. Maybe not for Mou, but sure for Chelsea. Those kind of players with great character will bring team together. It would be stupid to sell all players with character. In current team Hazard and Luiz look to be most honest, open minded players and we have to keep them. We need to sell to buy Vidal or someone? Realy? Why dont we first sell the ones who reals should be sold like Torres, and then we have more than enough money to buy 2/3 top players, given the fact we sold Mata in january, some deadwood will generate 30-40mio (plus less week wages) and surely we have 50mio of clean money to spend every year. Thats more than enough to buy 2/3 top players without the 'need' to sell Luiz. If we however do sell Luiz (and probably Mikel too), we will need to buy a backup DM and CB, selling Luiz makes no sense.
