Willian was quite poor IMO, but since turn of the year after we bought Cuadrado, Willian did a realy good job. At least one thing Cuadrado was worth the money

If Depay was RW, I would definately consider him for Chelsea. And if we bought Depay for 30m for example, I wouldnt pay another 80m to get bale because 1.) Depay would get into team sooner or later and would improve us 2.) I would spend 80m or whatever on Cm, Cb.
-
With Depay at United, will they realy go after Bale too? I mean they will most probably target CB like Hummels, Clyne and top CM. I dont think they will go 80m on Bale unless they sell Di Maria, RVP.

It depends what you want. Its not always about player but also about manager and how the player fits him. Bayern was dominant with Mandzukic who was pivotal point of their attack despite he isnt typical world class striker. For next season or two, only advantage of having Pogba is that he is young and will play on top for several years, while Vidal, Matuidi will slowly decline in 2-3 years. But even then if Pogba truly develops into what people expect, I dont think we will be able to keep him to see the best of him here anyway. While I get what you mean, having Matuidi/Vidal etc would improve us imediately. And atm Pogba is no better than any of the three I mentioned. Even more, those three would arguably perform better in key games than Pogba right now. We bought Makelele and Ballack when they were in their 30s and it seemed they are pass their best, but it worked brilliantly for us. While Pogba has youth and potential, Matuidi (or similar players) have experience, leadership, mentality and imediate impact, that could be even more beneficial for us. Not to mention, they wouldnt stall RLC potential either. Pogba is amazing talent, but if you ask me, buying him wont bring us to another level next season or extend chances to win CL. The fruits of his ability would be seen in later years, but next season or two, Matuidi, Vidal or even Koke would be a better fit for us IMO. I would rather spend bit more money on top right wing rather CM.

Just been thinking, if Mou was honest regarding Oscar comments, that means Oscar will stay here next season with big role. Do we even need Koke/Pogba/whoever then?
-
If he isnt available/too expensive, I wouldnt mind getting Matuidi/Vidal/Koke. While Pogba is good player, he isnt the only one.
-
If he can cope physicaly with PL, I think he will be a hit once he gets used to team. Fact that he played for atletico for whole year is definately plus.
-
Congrats on Juve and Barca reaching the final althrough I think semis would be much much better if Bayern had Robbery and Real had Modric. They were practicaly without their most important players and it killed the vibe a bit.

I have to agree with you on this one. Ronaldo is exceptional player obviously, maybe I would explain in this way though; I would prefer someone like Drogba who might not score that many but will win you titles and always work for the team. We never had some superstars in our team ala Zidane, Ronaldo, Kaka etc. but we had a team and I always liked that alot. Messi is the only top top player I would bring here for big money. If I had chance to sign Ronaldo, I dont think I would do it. Not for that crazy money, because what he does in Madrid isnt enough to convince me that he would bring Chelsea as team to next level. Not to mention Ronaldo at United realy impressed me. But he is now despite still being rated as great as ever, lost alot of his ability. Cant score free kick, long shot, his dribbling is far from consistent against better defenders and he scores too many tap ins nowdays. Real plays for him and in big games if he doesnt score, he is like he wouldnt be playing. Just doesnt cut it for me. Arguably best athlete in football history and one of best individuals ever, but not a natural talent and even less a team player. That said, I admire all the hard work he does to stay at this level even in his 30s.

Not sure if this was posted already as its from february, but I find the videos quite interesting.

I think Hazard, Willian and Sterling are too similar. The quality is obviously different, but each of them has dribbling, speed and close control as their main advantage, but neither is realy good crosser, long range shooter, cold finisher etc. Imo we need some diversitiy in attack like Bayern has with Robbery. One as winger playmaker and other as winger goalscorer. Sterling is top player and being english i would definately consider him. Griezmann and Res seem a bit too light weight for Mou tactics. Bale would be perfect but he is probably too expensive.
-
I would love to see him in BVB tbh. I think he would fit there realy well. And their fans...he deserves that respect.
-
Dont want to be greedy or anything, but to be equal to Real/Barca/Bayern we need another Hazard IMO. That said, I think its privilege to watch Hazard here, what an amazing player he is.
-
While I admire Ronaldo's statistics, its nearly impossible to do what he does every year, scoring shitload of goals etc. But IMO he doesnt add enough to game of Real. Compare Messi and Ronaldo and their work FOR the team. Messi adds game of barca to another level, Ronaldo racks up goals in this very good madrid side. But shitload of goals or assists wont win you titles. Cesc for example has many assists, but I doubt he could deliver top performance in certain CL final.
-
Ronaldo for me isnt a true winner. He is personal winner, but not someone to give team extra edge in decisive games. He won one CL (that he completely sucked in final) and one La liga in 5 years.
-
IMO he brought too many spanish players in club, regardless of their quality. Germany has loads of their own potential, its what bayern built on since 2008 (plus Robbery), and they were very succesful. I think Guardiola can thank someone for Bvb not being that great anymore or he might not won a single big title.
-
Bayern under Heynckess looked like most balanced team with great national spirit in there. Guardiola realy fucked up the team IMO. From tactical to personel view. Its still very good side, but not even close to one from two years ago. As great coach Guardiola is, he had massive massive luck to coach that barca side. At bayern he did way below expectations IMO.
-
Griezmann, Reus I think they dont fit in PL tbh. They suit spanish league much more.
-
If he joins us because we are building a project great. If he accepts joining us just for the money, then he can fuck of to psg and follow Cavani, Lavezzi and co.
-
Bale will never be worth 100m or even close, but he is better player than people think. That said, he fits PL and PL only, I doubt he will ever reach his top in Real even once Ronaldo leaves.
-
That moment when people hope he will be as shit as possible in Real so we have more chance to sign him

Humility is too steep a price for sour grapes Pellegrini

I only expect Zouma to play from ''youngsters'' and IMO that would be a good start. He had great season, improving and what is better than give him starting spot against liverpool at SB after we secured title. It would give him more experience, as he is young we can expect reliable performance and he will be quite relaxed as game has little meaning. Cech Azpi-Zouma-Terry-Luis Matic/Mikel-Cesc Cuadrado-Willian-Hazard Remy/Drogba

Youth or not, I only hope we play open football and beat them comfortably. That would be nice.
