I wouldnt even want Thiago tbh. So far, too injury prone and doesnt fit into Mou system as Verratti/Pogba would. Thiago alone is wonderful player, but despite he works hard, he is player born to play in possesion team. Talent would be wasted here. Verratti, Pogba or Koke on other hand can perform brilliantly even in defensive tactics.

Yes it could be what you say indeed. Oscar and Cesc is very poor choice as neither has strength or balance to keep the ball. But then again, Cesc is best as CM next to Matic (who should not be blamed or anything, Cesc has privilege to have such defensive partner IMO). Therefore our #10 should be stronger with great defensive ability, but I doubt such player exist (Pogba maybe). Shifting Cesc to #10 with Matic and another defensive partner would make little sense either, our pivot would have little creativity while Cesc isnt even that great at #10. While I would give Oscar another season to prove, I dont think him and Cesc at same time could boss the games regardless if there is Matic behind them. Verratti/Pogba/Koke would be very nice, but impossible to buy I think.

I absolutely despise barcelona but if slovenian player played there, I would like them alot more.

Am I only one who is just not sold on Cesc? He is fantastic player with great vision and played big big part to title, but in big games he was the main reason why we got completely overrun by any decent side. He cant maintain his level in certain games and that is our big weakness. It could have something with his mentality or character, thats why I never want to see him as captain unless he improves in that consistency aspect. While you see Verratti, Modric, Schweinsteiger, Iniesta perform same good in big games, Cesc goes missing. I would tend to agree thats because of Mou tactics, but it was same back in barca.
-
While Cesc and Oscar can be great individual players and further improve, I doubt we will ever dominate midfield with those two in midfield at same time.
-
Seems that every talent bvb sold flopped so far. Sahin, Kagawa, now Gotze. I dunno why, but their players seem to work only in their specific Klopp system.
-
I wouldnt mind Nufc stay in PL. They had very nice squad back then with Cabaye, Debuchy, Tiote, Ba,...they turned into shit very fast somehow though. I remember sometime ago, they were serious contenders for top 4. Then they renamed their stadium into sports direct arena and been average since then. Certainly prefer them over Burnley, Qpr, Hull because newvastle can atleast buy few more players and improve quality of PL.
-
I realy dont know what is the hype about Christensen tbh. Everyone is pushing him to start vs West Brom, but I would give RLC, Ake, Solanke, Izzy, even Boga a chance ahead of him.
-
I wouldnt be surprised if this deal will be closed in upcoming weeks. Atletico is trying to improve his contract and we will have to act quick if we want him. That is IF we are realy interested and rumours arent just bullshit.

Mario, you eat what you seed...
-
Or Griezmann, Sterling, Isco etc...
-
IMO from what I saw Verratti is better in defense than Koke. He is more agressive and dynamic, thats why he racks up more tackles and interceptions. But Koke is more direct, releasese ball quicker and is generaly bigger. Hard to say stronger, because Verratti is one tough motherfucker for his size, and extremely balanced. That said, there is like zero chance for us to sign Verratti. He seems to enjoy there, PSG have absolutely no need to sell him unless he forces them. I wouldnt go into bid war with them just to get Verratti. If Verratti leaves, it will be Real to replace Modric I think.
-
Radio Praha says he is close to Arsenal. I only hope he doesnt go to any of PL rivals, that would be just sad.

I think market will be blown out this year. Real will be pissed after not winning single title, Bayern will be pissed about not getting in final again, plus they will want to replace older and injured players, Manchester will repeat last summer, Liverpool, Arsenal will surely spend big on at least one player, PSG is PSG, City will go mad trying to build new team, then you have Wolfsburg, Monaco, Valencia, Juve, Soton, Tottenham, Atletico, Inter, Roma who will certainly want a bit of attention on market too.

Im sure Juve will regain quite some money power (obviously not to compete with Real, Barca etc ,but enough to pay their players). And its not about money. Atletico, Juve, Bvb are examples of it in recent years. However its about project, club policy (profit or trophies) etc. If Juve can get their project to continue, they will eventualy earn reputation and players will want to play for them again. Obviously its no chance that Pogba will stay at juve (even Zidane left when juve were a massive massive club), but Juve growth will continue and key for them is to keep the level of quality in team (Bvb failed big time with replacing their key players with new ones). The rise they made in past 5 years is incredible. Playing in serie B and now in CL final, while you see Milan and Inter stagnate year after year is unbelievable. Btw Juve is doing bussines very well. They spent only 40m on Tevez, Pogba, Vidal, Evra, Pirlo etc. Its all about the project. Real has ability to buy Bale every year but this didnt get them past Juve this year. And only star Juve is facing to lose is Pogba. I dont think Chiellini, Vidal, Marchisio,Tevez, etc will leave, not to mention Buffon, Pirlo...but age is problem indeed. IMO people rate money in football way too high. Money is guarantee not to fall behind others, but it definately isnt guarantee to get above others. Many other aspects like team work, tactics, player-manager relationship, etc are more important than money alone. As you can see Atletico, Juve, Bvb (or Porto, Monaco,...in past) have reached CL finals, domestic success etc, but the hardest part is what to do after that. If you sell half of team and dont bring proper replacements, you fall. However I think Juve will benefit from either Pogba stay or 80m he will bring to them. Its also how you spent the money, not how much money you have. Who exactly can they sell now though? Pogba, Vidal and Morata due to that clause of all important players. Fact that they are interested in players like Dybala says alot about their future plans too.

I have been reading Bayern forum and one clever prick came with statement that we are robbing Atletico all the time, destroying them, taking all their hardwork blah blah. But he apparently didnt realize this is what Bayern is doing to whole Bundesliga for years now...
-
Vietto and Simeone worked before, so the move is very possible. And if it does happen, you can bet Vietto will be 40m+ rated in few years haha.
-
Whats going on with brazil players names? Why are there no more inho's and typical brazil names? Kenedy, Wallace, Nathan, Mayke, Marlone... Plus if we are going after all brazil kids, why dont we buy Gabriel from Santos who is the only worthy player we should target from brazil ATM.
-
Obviously he will leave at some point but I wouldnt be surprised if he stays for another few years at juve. Juve is playing in CL final, wins domestic titles every year and has good financial situation (even more money if they win CL). If Pogba would only want to be at big club, he would stay in United who was back then still among top 5 teams in europe. Besides i dont know why people still see Juve as second tier club? They are on rise, dont forget they were in serie B few years ago and are now in CL final. Bayern was quite shit in 2008, but now they are one of best teams in the world. If juve gets one or two top players for relatively cheap money (like they did with Tevez, Vidal and Pirlo, they will rival best teams in europe consistently for few years to come. What goes around comes around, Im sure juventus will once be as great as they were decade ago.

I think we will sign: Godin, he is 29, atleico will try to cash on him and they already have their replacement in Gimenez. You all know Mourinho, he will want to win cL next year and he will want experienced top CB to do it. Griezmann, who could be our "big" signing. He is ambitious and has release clause. We simply need a top RW and I think he is most possible to get. CM like Scheniderlin, Imbula or someone similar to add depth or if we sell Mikel. Average experienced GK. Koke, Pogba and Bale, Varane are unrealistic IMO. I think it will be suicidal going with Iva and Azpi as fullbacks, but Mou will stick to them anyway and its nothing we can do. Courtois Iva-Terry-Godin-Azpi Matic-Cesc Griezmann-Oscar-Hazard Costa Its not my ideal lineup but most possible one.
-
Yokohama doesnt look bad but Samsung is samsung.
-
I would take Godin ahead oh him any day if we are going after experienced player.
-
I wouldnt take atletico supporting the striker for granted. Mandzukic is struggling there a bit, so it isnt just that Griezmann has great support but is also top finisher who is taking his chances.Atletico is now alot more balanced team than they were with Falcao where all the play was to feed him because he was half the team. Apparently Griezmann is second most efficient finisher just behind Chicarito in laliga. Also, Griezmann was scoring for fun back with sociedad. Cant remember how many, but he was definately among top finishers last season. While I have my reservations over him as he will have to physicaly adopt to PL, his finishing is certainly impressive.
-
Just "realized" he actualy scored 22 goals already in laliga and as far I know he had very difficult start there. Its even more amazing because for example Falcao scored 24 goals in debut season. And Griezmann aint even a pure striker to begin with. I find it quite mind blowing as Falcao was regarded as one of best strikers back then. Griezmann does indeed play as striker or SS but obviously it isnt natural position.

Some rumours that Chelsea and Marseille could establish a loan partnership. That would be amazing, Marseille is a big club and playing for such club in ligue 1 is great step before making it in PL. Drogba, Hazard, Essien, Malouda, Anelka, Azpi, Makelele all experienced playing in ligue 1 and performed realy well for us to. Here are some links: http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/marseille-interested-chelsea-loan-partnership-5692183 http://weaintgotnohistory.sbnation.com/2015/5/13/8603287/chelsea-in-talks-with-marseille-loan-partnership
