  1. I liked battersea idea, but Im much more happy with this idea. Iconic and most of all, staying in same place. And decisions like this is reason why Roman is the best owner ever. He is a blue.
  2. Not sure why Bayern isnt in race for Turan tbh. Could cover or start instead of either of Robbery, fits Guardiola system perfectly and has similar style to Ribery.
  3. True, but if player is actualy good enough and not overhyped, they would play him. And we as Chelsea surely can arange for such deals. Like previously mentioned, KDB, Tibo etc. Some quite decent clubs nowdays like to loan players because they get talented player for almost free. And here is my theory. Most of our players (bought or brought from youth) are simply not good enough to play in decent clubs. Would love to see other way, but thats a fact. We overhype our academy alot. They are great on youth level (won youth league, youth PL etc) but they cant make transition to first team, that is even if they get loaned to Championship or vitesse, they flop in 90 percent. And even if they dont flop, they only played well in vitesse or championship which is miles away from Chelsea quality. They get loaned endlessly, becoming too old or simply flop on next loans. Vitesse is feeder club, so are championship clubs. Us loaning to them wont get our talents chelsea quality. But I understand, Chelsea probably has not two fucks given about players we buy like Nathan, Piazon, Atsu etc. They are bought to give us couple of more millions in the end. Period. But our youth team should be treated differently. If we have such talents as people hype them to be in Musonda, RLC, Boga etc, they should perform excelently in championship clubs or more importantly, they should be arranged for best possible loans they can get i.e. rumoured Marseille, but even if we loaned them to teams like AV, Burnley, Leicester etc, they should perform. End of. However the reality is that these players are just loaned and loaned to piss poor teams instead of being challenged and see what they can do. Im aboslutely positive, if Boga (for example) is good enough as people say (and from what i saw, he is promising) then he should have positive loan at team like Villa or Leicester etc...Not starter from first game obv, but eventualy he would break through. Or to france, italy, germany,...as long its first division and decent team. We managed to loan Bertrand to villa, Lukaku to west brom, and they did well, but aint world class talents. Not sure why Boga, Musonda or RLC wouldnt make it. If they are physicaly, mentaly too weak, then its our problem and they will never succeed at top team then. Aston villa type teams will want established players ahead of talents for sure, but if you throw them Musonda who is currently our best youth talent, we could arrange for a loan.
  4. You know what...IF we rate these kids soo much, why loan them to fucking vitesse and championship clubs etc? Make sure they get better loans. Think Matic who went to Benfica (was loaned to Vitesse, looked like another miss, but got better in Benfica), Tibo to Atletico, KDB to Werder...all improved alot. Rest who was loaned to vitese and second tier clubs never made it. And if the players themselves cant perform for teams like Aston Villa, Burnley, Malaga, Werder (just throwing some random decent clubs to where loans could be made without too much pressure and competition for loanees), well then they are simply not good enough if they cant perform in such teams.
  5. What happend to Guidetti? He looked promising few years ago at Feyenoord.
  6. If you think we need more young talents to win CL, PL again etc instead of experienced leaders...well...ok. Instead of overrated Sterling, Griezmann who is nowhere near as good on RW,...I prefer a player that will give balance and consistency in Turan. If you saw the player, you would know what he can do, instead of just pointing on his age, nationality or stats. He might be 28, but he uses brain when playing, not strenght, pace etc. I believe his hard working attitude will make fans to love him quickly. Only problem I see is that he has well documented problems with fitness. Apparently he completed (full 90min) only 25% games he played under Simeone, and was most subbed player of all atleti players last year due to some minor injuries. But that is bit misleading, he is also one of their top runners in their team, and has very hard working approach that tires him (for example Cesc makes alot of km every game, but he doesnt sprint half as much as Turan does). Plus whenever he plays for Turkey, where he is also their captain, he usualy plays for full 90min. His movement and play is exactly same like Hazard, but with less pace and flair, but more aggression. However he is not winger who stays wide, score goals regulary, or have runs in open space. I would understand if Bale, Reus or similar winger was available, we should target him, but they are not. We struggle against well organised defenses, here is where someone with good ball control and eye for pass will suit us more than some pacy winger with headless chicken attitude. Apart from Turan fitness issue (that could be solved with full preseason here, and our medical staff), we probably lack some killer finishers. Barca has MSN, Real has Cr, Benzema, Bale; Bayern has Robben, Lewa and Muller. We only have Costa and Hazard (who IMO isnt natural scorer, but does score alot due to high chance creation). But then again, WHICH winger that can score is available?
  7. Why didnt I see this before https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9_vm3WxudN4
  8. Trust me, I treat them equaly, to be fair Lamps was more favourable to me than Cech when both were here. Thing is, Cech is in still in his best football years, said several times clearly that wants to remain in London and mentioned its better for his family. Lamps on other hand left club because he would get pay cut and wanted more money, despite being past it at 36. Then he talked shit about going to New york, and that he was ''forced'' to join City, despite never joining New york in first place. Its also fair to say, Cech was never given clear chance to compete with Tibo, so decided to leave, after all he is still in great shape, way too good to sit on bench. Lamps had nothing to prove anymore, was offered smaller paycheck and role (according to his abilities), but he refused it in order to get more money. Should retire or go somewhere to america, china or wherever, but instead he joined city, pretending like he is forced to go there, just to make good relationship with chelsea fans, but everyone knows what he did. Cech was at least saying he would like to join Arsenal from start. If he was saying he will move to france all the time, but yesterday joined arsenal, he would look like dick too.
  9. Yup if there will ever be Chelsea-Marseille link, some of our youth could benefit alot now that Marseille lost several stars and the spots are open.
  10. They are all going to United :ph34r2:
  11. People are mad because we are not linked with top players. But even if we were (like in past years), we never actualy signed 99% of those players because it was all bullshit anyway so I dont see whats the fuss. Mou said no transfers, so it would be stupid from press to report about us spending 100m+ like they talked about last year, year before and every year before that. Anyway its not even july when window actualy opens, so calm the fuck down. Mou was never open about transfers, so its possible we are doing some negotiations despite media doesnt report it (as if they ever knew anything). I rather wait till last week of August and sign a top player for decent fee than rush into buying decent player for top fee. Chill, Mou will get his players as he always does, wait and see.
  12. Only mentioned those two based on fact they eventualy joined rivals despite being chelsea legends. Reasons are different obviously. ----- As for Petr, I understand him completely. He wanted to finish career here, but Courtois complicated things. Last season it was clear Tibo is our first choice, but Cech hoped Mou will give the two a fair competition and see who is better. However Mou picked Tibo as first choice from game 1. Cech waited one season and saw there will be no competition between two, so he moved on, because he is still a top top GK. And he was open about where he would like to go for last few months. As for Lamps, that ''loan'' shit he was talking about was pure BS. To begin with, he was 36, past it and should accept lower paycheck and smaller role, and he would if he realy cared about club (like Giggs. Scholes did at united), but went to city because he doesnt give a fuck about anything except money.
  13. Oh so being most techical player, their key playmaker at atletico is useless. Fine. He aint fastes of the wingers, but to say slow is ridiculous. Also funny you mention him poor baby for complaining about working. Words are words he might say reasons why wants to leave, but if you actualy saw him play, you would know he is one of biggest warriors among attacking players. For that effort alone, a player is always appreciated. But people only want Iscos and such, cuz they have flair...
  14. How many talented CMs did Spurs waste? Sandro, Paulinho, Dembele, Capoue at least
  15. I hope Cech departure wont divide Mou and Roman...
  16. He was saying that for ages. Everyone knew he wants to keep things simple, stay in London for the family. Unlike Lamps who tricked everyone.... Anyway, I will be forever grateful to Cech, one of best GKs I ever saw, he is the main reason for the only CL we have so far. Im sad that he is going in Arsenal, but he has all right to go wherever he wants. We are losing great character and Arsenal are getting great player. Good luck and thank you for 11 great years Petr.
  17. Agree, but no way will they be able to replace Pirlo and Tevez. Khedira and Mandzukic arent half the players they are replacing. Not to mention they will have to change whole setup (like Alegri said) that will take a year at least to work out. People forget juve made several realy terrible signings in diego, melo, krasic etc. But they did well in recent years. However Pirlo, Tevez, Pogba etc were a true gift for them. You dont find such players every year, nevertheless all in same year. Also, they are focusing on bringing replacements, but they also need to buy wingers and right backs because they need them badly. Pirlo and Tevez leaving on bosman is also huge hit. With Vidal, Morata, Buffon probably leaving sooner or later. I wont be surprised if juve will struggle next year. Not so much because of departures, but more because of replacements. Mandzukic, Khedira are not world class and Dybala is very young. And as far I know they sold Berardi but can buy him back for 10m or sth Serie a isnt as difficult yet, so I can see juve do well there for some time, but they wont be competitive in europe for a while IMO. Realy didnt expect they will lose Tevez and Pirlo in same year.
  18. I recommend to watch football outside Chelsea. If not for entertainment, atlest its quite usefull when we are linked with foregin league players...
  19. This thread Turan is by far better than anything we have in AM area bar Hazard. He might not be as flashy, but he is very consistent, reliable and would add alot of balance to our attack. People say he lacks goals and assists, but also has to deal with shit load of defending, literaly second RB at Atletico if required. Some think Reus or whoever would be capable to defend as Mou says and still attack in same way. No chance. He doesnt even have engine for that, despite not being lazy. Turan is what someone above said, a poor-man Iniesta. Neither has great stats, but pulls strings from behind and makes others perform better. Fitting into our team is another thing. He is hard working, and has decent body, so physicality wouldnt be that problem (unlike Cuadrado for example), but he is the playmaker. Much like Hazard. We probably need someone who is best at finishing, not playmaking. We seriously lack some midfield balance, but I wouldnt bring another winger/midfielder to solve that. A CM should be brought to add some balance in our mid and winger who can score goals. But if we get Turan, I wouldnt say no. He is far from shit, in his prime and actualy someone who performs on regular basis (unlike Oscar or Willian), Its all up to Mou, I think he knows what he is doing if he buys Turan. When you look this thread and Falcao, you would think Falcao is one of best and Turan complete shit for 5 years. Truth is, Turan would improve our attack 5 times more than Falcao could in any way.
  20. Too bad. Atletico will have hard time replacing Turan. They would replace Griezmann alot easier. 3-4 clubs; I would say barca, Psg and chelsea are certainly interested.
  21. I will try to explain; while Willian has good hold up play, when he gets under pressure, he almost never pulls something out of it. He might shield the ball, but wont make a pass, dribble etc to create opportunity. Thats why I think he is shit under presssure. He cant do anything but stay there and protect the ball. Hazard on other hand can despite being pressed, trick the opponent and run away/pass etc. Willian has his qualities, but when pressed he doesnt offer much in attacking sense. About Cesc, you are right. He has very good ball control and tehnique, but loses that when he is pressed.
  22. He is more intelligent and clever with ball (for example he doesnt do stepovers and then make back pass like willian). But I agree, he isnt one to change or decide the game. However, under pressure we only have Hazard, Matic who are capable of keeping it. Cesc is shit when under pressure, Oscar and Willian too. Arda is alot more reliable, much like Hazard to keep the ball, I think we would benefit alot. But its up to Mou. If we will keep possession more next season, Turan would be PERFECT, if we go on counters, Reus, Bale, Griezmann, anyone who is fast, good dribbler and has finish in him, would fit more than Arda. We have still struggled to break opponent defense, but improved alot since year before, but IMO our bigger problem is no natural finisher apart from Costa. Like I said, someone who pops more goals would do better. Maybe even Fekir, who is quite similar to Arda but has more end product in assists and goals (that said Arda had it too when he was playing in turkey). Its up to Mou. Arda will give us more balance in attack, but not pace, bite and power (Turan is quite strong player, but stands out in spain. english cbs are alot more powerful). Honestly speaking, our main weakness last year was midfield in big games. Adding another world class midfielder and go with 4:3:3 will elevate us on next level. Or some great player like Bale on RW to have nearly perfect attack. Mou should target that if he wants us to improve, not bring average players. One top CM or RW and we are set for next season.
  23. Obiang aint all that bad. Could do realy well for them
  24. Mou probably doesnt give single fuck about that. As far I know he is going to loan RLC sooner or later. His youth history is full of bullshit and I dont think RLC convinced him. Mou: Baker is our future, I will put him in first team to get chances...doesnt play, gets loaned out Mou: Ake is our future, puts him in first team. Gets good game in CL, doenst play again. Gets loaned out... By now, its pretty clear that no youth will play in our first 11, but in best case be used as someone to fill HG gap. Unless we find a great talent, that will stun everyone, but IMO Chelsea academy has no experience in that regard how to prepare kids for senior level anyway. We fill them with cash way too early, no point for them to work realy hard to succeed, thats why they dont complain about endless loans. Every talent who has at least decent mentality will refuse vitesse or championship loan, but demand a better club, chance at chelsea, or being sold to a team that actualy has faith.
