Playing Ivan ahead of Azpi and Kenedy on LB says alot about this mans opinion on football.
-
Board will only realise what we had when he will shine for another club. They never learn from their mistakes wankers.
-
He is a winger not LB. You can put many players to LB but they aint actual LB. Barca deployed Pedro as RB too, saying Kenedy is most skillful LB is bit funny then. But anyway despite good game, Im dissapointed we have a manager who plays promising winger as fucking fullback AND also leaves Azpi on bench. About Kenedy, all respect to the lad. He doesnt complain, does his job. Realy good on the ball, overall raw player, but he has talent. And with his workrate, I have big trust for him.
-
Scored winner people still shit on him. Yeah he missed two great chances and I as any other was pissed. But in the end he scored that one goal for the win. He is striker he scored goal he did his job today. Wasnt good overall performance from him but one goal was enough. What more people want? When he doesnt do his job people have right to blast him, but when he scores thats it. I wish he improves, but those comparisons with Falcao, Torres, Chicarito etc and wanting him gone are ridiculous.

Good. Thanks chelsea for making my day. On second note, as much as I would love to see us fight for top place, I still enjoy these so called battle relegation games. Its never boring to be a chelsea fan.
-
What is with all the isco hype? He is good player but he is show player not someone you want when you play big team because he does fuck all in those games except for few nice tricks.
-
Legend at Chelsea...nice. If only 3/4 of the rest squad looked to achieve same and not fuck around all the time.
-
Yeah I heard brazil FA is corrupted, sponsors pick players etc...Nothing surprising when you see bunch of their players from china league, brazil league, etc meanwhile players like Alex Teixeira, Allan and similar dont make the cut...
-
The only real problem is his consistency. On his day he can score wondergoal, either free kick or from play, has good positioning. He is quite intelligent player, he tracks back brilliantly and connects the midfield with attack. Very versatile; basicaly he can do anything. But problem is that this happens once every 5 games or 5 games in row and then nothing for next three months. If he can get his consistency, he could be cracking player. I would take best Oscar over Ozils and Iscos anyday. Because he offers alot more than just final pass. He has age on his side, I would love to see into future when Oscar is something like 28. He doesnt rely on pace either so he could perform even in 30s. But so far he has been average and without real improvement for 3 years now. Not just for chelsea but brazil too (Imo he is even less important for them than he was). So my guess is that we wont see the best of Oscar until he reaches mid to late 20s. Only question is are we patient enough to wait or will he reach his best in another team.
-
Meanwhile with the form of Willian and Costa, Oscar will have damn hard time to get back in the first 11.Also, anyone knows why Allan hasnt been called up yet? He is doing realy well for napoli and brazil is lacking good midfielders. Think with his agressivness and skill, he could be almost perfect CM for them.
-
Martial is good what are you talking about? Yeah he was overpaid, but himself as talent is great. Probably best young ALLROUND striker atm. Talk of next Henry is pointless, and kid as of now isnt even regular scorer, but his play is amazing. Ball control, movement, passing. He put in some great displays for United and France. His character is spot on too. In few years I think he will be one of best in world but not under coach like Gaal IMO.
-
Imo Kevin wasnt a flop here, it just didnt work out. He wasnt brought for big money and no one expected him to be our next Lampard etc. Just one of many we bought and sent on loan. Depay and Di Maria were brought for big money and big expectations and they floped. Still Di Maria was a transfer flop at united because he already had great career, won CL etc. Meanwhile Depay could turn into football flop because as of now, he is far from being next Ronaldo...or even Nani (who turned flop aswell).
-
To all who think Cesc would work here in Pirlo role...one is forgetting little thing that we dont play in Italy but England where football is quicker and more physical. Oh and we dont have anyone like Pogba and Vidal to play next to Cesc. Matic is not as dynamic as Vidal and Ramires is not as technicaly gifted as Pogba. Good luck to your defence. And regarding 3 man defence. Its something for history books. Conte was playing Juve with 3CBs, year later Allegri changes to normal 2CBs plus 2FBs and look they reach CL final.

He is 1,90m or sth, should fit well into Mou plans being transformed into RB or CB.
-
He is proud that top clubs are interested in him, not that he is specificaly proud about chelsea. Big difference IMO.
-
This list is plain bullshit but if we ever sell Matic or Hazard (or anyone else) I expect club to buy proper replacements and by that I mean Javi Martinez, Bale, Reus etc. If we sell Hazard and bring in Teixeira or whoever similar just because Mou doesnt like the work rate of Hazard, Im gonna lose it.

Ash looks like one of those people who will never look old. He looks the same for past 10 years.

What would it take to turn the season around?
BlueLyon replied to bluephoenix's topic in Matthew Harding Stand
Bring proper LB, buy Gundogan, potentialy sell Oscar, play 4:3:3 with Matic, Cesc and Gundogan, Willian and Haz on wings, Costa striker. In big games bench Cesc play Ramires (or new B2B like Allan). Sell Mikel and buy DM or give real chance to RLC. Buy actual 2nd/3rd striker because what we have right now is poor as fuck. Get rid of Falcao. Bring good CB and dont spend 40m on kid while doing so. Play Kenedy more. 50% of that till start of next season and we will do some progress. -
Imo Griezmann is not even close to someone who will lead our line nevermind under Mou. Maybe it would work if we get someone like Guardiola but even that is a stretch.Yeah Griz is good finisher and good with ball but would he actualy suit in PL? He is lightweight and Im not just talking about his height or weight or workrate. He doesnt have the balance like Aguero for example. Imo Griezman in current chelsea would work like Cuadrado. His holdup play is nowhwere near suitable for PL and defenders. He would get crushed if he was our main striker with Haz, Oscar and Pedro or Willian behind. And Cesc in middle. We would be lightweight as fuck. And if people want to keep Mou, I dont know how they also want us to play fluid football with skill players like Griezmann. The only way to play under Mou ancient tacitcs is to get old school players. Barkley, Lukaku/Benteke etc. If we insist with Mou and his tactics only way is to get someone like Drogba. Someone who can push through defence and still has good ball play and finish to be good allround striker. Good luck finding one such striker. Football is evolving. You cant play Mou tactics with players like Cesc, Pedro, Griezmann. There is a reason we had workers like Lamps, Drogba, Ballack, Essien etc and not fancy playerd ala Kaka' Pirlo, Ronaldinho, Sheva,... Ffs if club is looking to keep Mou then bring players that suit him. We already missed on Vidal, Aurier, Otamendi, or even cheaper players like Allan.
-
Basicaly the whole team has to be accomodated to him and still he will be invisible against teams that can press with high intensity (when he plays for Chelsea atleast). Thats one and only truth. But yeah he can be good player and useful player if you dont count that part above.
-
What has format to do with manager adoptation? Atm everyone is playing in same system of CL. Some managers have done better some worse. But all are in same situation. Guardiola couldnt adopt to the situation in past two years of CL semis. Its my opinion that system is wrong, but fact is that all managers play in same system and some did better while some didnt. Guardiola was indeed naive because he didnt change tactics thinking real madrid was beatable like Frankfurt and Nurnberg and similar clubs Pep played week in week out in buli.
-
In couple years I can see him and Rooney play in WWE. Druglord vs Shrek.
-
From prestige, CL is certainly valued more, but for players, domestic leagues could have bigger role. Much more effort is put in there and consistancy plays huge role. I dislike the format of CL because one game in the end dictates who is the winner. Its very dramatic but not as fair imo. Everyone should play everyone and the one that makes most points at the end is the CL winner.
-
Laporte, Gimenez both better than him, not to mention there are more experienced CBs like Godin out there (for price). Im not sure how are you solving defensive problems if you bring 21 years old inexperienced player. Long term indeed, but right now we realy need some leaders and established players. Also young players and Mou are two terms that dont go together. Way too much pressure, lack of trust and confidence in young lads. But Stones is english and we need more english players.

We have so little true blues in our squad nowdays, I wish Kenedy gets the chance. He seems to genuinely like to play for Chelsea. People forget that despite money is controling alot, some players will still give more to certain team than others due to being loyal. For example Lampard who was lesser player than Kaka but he suited us much more due to his loyalty for Chelsea. Kenedy needs to be given chance. He isnt as huge talent, but sometimes will to perform for club you like is more than just talent. When big games come, you need warriors, players who would die for the club. Sadly we dont have many such players nowdays. Give chance to Kenedy, bring Bertrand back and buy another englishman. That would be proper start of rebuilding this team. Because at this moment, we are losing all the identity of what our club represented.
