I know but they didnt put such shift in some bigger games this season. But since they were the MAIN guys yesterday among all our bench teammates, it was great attitude from those two to take the responsibility and show good performance. Eden's running and tracking was absolutely unbelievable, he is turning into quite a working player. Pedro was excellent too after coming on. The more I think, the more I want Grizi here. This season he realy turned to a very hard working player (I always thought he is bit too fragile and couldnt play whole 90min in PL, but this season he improved so much). Never mind his composure and efficiency in front of goal. Imagine Eden Grizi and our striker run on counter attack, its goal guaranteed. And Grizi is such a cool guy too. Chelsea material attitude.

Funny game, happy almost everyone got chance to play. I didnt realy care about the result but after 3:1 and then 3:3 I hoped we can score one more. 90points, 29 victories and 80 goals scored with one more game to be played. Not bad season at all. Willian, Eden and late Pedro were electric for such unimportant match. Great attitude.

Cool lineup Conte, looking forward to see what they can do. No RLC too bad, was looking to see what he can do in full game with no pressure. At least everyone else is ready for party, gonna be interesting game no matter the result. Come on chels

Reading that and Eden coments is such music to my ears, thanks for posting that. With Cech, Lamps, Drogba, and soon Terry gone, we are truly entering a new era at chelsea and I was never realy sure if we will ever replace those players, that squad was just too good. And with all these rumours you never know whats gonna happen with our key players, but these comments give me lot of hope for our new squad. Its first time I genuinely think Tibo, Eden and others are on great course to become our legends like Cech or Didi one day. I always thought, they are top top players, but not realy true blue, because of certain departure one day. However I think its slowly but steadily changing. Im sure Tibo was planning to leave us at one point, but now he is leaning to make a career here. So is Eden. The titles they are winning here will hopefuly bond them together and we will have one hell of great team. They were top players for few years now. But if they start loving Chelsea like old guard, their performances will reach completely new levels. Its what true passion does. Exciting times ahead indeed

James is a classic CAM. He was never quick enough for a winger at Porto or Real even tho he played there. But Ancelotti played Di Maria-Alonso-Modric in his first season with Ronaldo, Bale and Benzema up. and then replaced Dimaria with James who never kept his place. I never particulary liked either James or Isco because they think they are some wannabe stars, they dont want to leave Real, but at same time they keep saying they will leave if they dont get more play time. What they need to do is perform on pitch, at least Isco is doing that recently (last seasons he was selfish, flashy dribbler and rather useless thats why he didnt play, now he is more team player). James meanwhile alright player, but to me he is far from what we need. He hides in big games, much like Cesc. Now Cesc is good player too, but for only against specific teams and we dont want another similar player. Now if we continue next season with the same formation, we basicaly need better Pedro. Striker alone is not enough to score goals, and while Eden scores quite a few, he is not natural finisher. Idealy we need either Griezmann or Sanchez, someone realy quick, efficient and direct with good finish. Im positive we will be playing on quick counters alot next season, moreso against top teams and trio of Eden-Morata?-Griezmann/Alexis would be deadly. But again, I value mentality over talent and for that reason Sanchez, James, Ozil and Isco never been high on my wish list, tho Isco plays much better these days. That said James would cost close to 70m, lol fuck that. Get Griezmann for 90 then or in Costa swap. If United ends up with James I wouldnt worry at all as long we get a top player too.
-
And play him where? RW? He is slow and doesnt have that close space dribbling ability. Isco has that and I think it could work in PL because he is like a slower Eden. But James wont work here in this formation.
-
He was cought on camera praising Chelsea. Isco or Griezmann if we realy want to improve that right side. If those two aint possible, Pedro is allright until someone is available. I dont rate Sanchez that much, while Mahrez had poor season and could either turn good or bad. Lemar wants to stay in Monaco. Silva is good to, but for that quoted price we can try Griezmann instead and add few more millions.
-
if Isco is available, we should get him. One year left on contract and Im sure we have all the chances (plenty of spanish players, good coach, regular spot, competition for titles, CL,...) to get him if he wants to leave Real. Thats a big IF tho.
-
He was still brilliant last season. For Real and in euros. On bosman and as back up option, wouldnt have against it at all.
-
Yes him going forward reminds you of Marcelo or Alves. Definately has that potential. His defending aint perfect for RB but would definately work as RWB and given the fact Conte would train him. I agree with Skipp, Nelsinho is only RWB we should be targeting. Having someone like him would allow our "RW" to completely focus on playmaking or scoring goals, because Nelson would provide great width.
-
I would love to pass 90points barrier, but hell give youth playtime. Seriously when will we play them if not in such games? Terry should obviously feature in some way, while RLC, Ake, Chalobah MUST get at least one start. Bats should feature too. We play two home games, against relatively easy opponents and with title wraped no pressure, there is no better time to give them some play time. Pls Conte, do dis.
-
Please the board must give him the players he wants. Im sure we can take another few steps forward to perfection if Conte builds his squad. PL, nevermind CL will be alot harder next year and we need to continue improving. There is a serious healthy competition between Manchesters, Chelsea and Spurs. It will benefit the english football and hopefuly we see more success in europe and bring english football back on throne. We have the perfect manager for the role, we just need wise buys. Contes Juve had some of best transfers of all clubs in recent years, hopefuly that will now be the case for Chelsea too.
-
2010 was the most enjoyable and all in all best. Then come back to back titles because those years english football was on very high level and we managed to win it twice. Then comes this season because we made it despite poor last year and against all odds since everyone expected manchesters to win it. Then 2015. PL is not as strong as it was 5 or 10 years ago. But I celebrated them all equaly. Title is title.
-
If you looked closely, you could see the batman signal in the sky just before Bats came on. Batman never dissapoints.
-
Thats football for you. Love it how things turn around, much like in life.
-
Yes yes yes champions champions Batshuayi well deserved...seems all the shit he went through was now rewarded.
-
Lost the last three games at home and 6 games without a win. I have good feeling we will win there. We are on fire atm and we have whole team available.
-
Not sure about Moses, but Alonso will certainly remain our first choice next season unless we pull some ridiculous signing like Sandro, Alba or Alaba. He has been that important for us.
-
I never realy liked his play even in his first season when we won title and he banged those assists left and right, to me his overal play was just poor. Couldnt shileld the ball, did nothing in defence, always got dribbled past, jogged around instead of chase opponents,...the epitome were poor displays in CL. Then came last season and he was even worse much like rest of team. But this season I must say, its first time I realy realy appreciate his contribution to team, despite not having as vital role. He plays more mature and has quicker responses, loses the ball less, but there were games when he was same old Cesc from 2014/15. Maybe he is still same old Cesc, with exception that he simply plays only against opponents that suit him and he can cover his weaknesses, but IMO he became better player under Conte. In current role, he is crucial alternative for our team and must not be sold.
-
Realisticaly, I would go with Morata, Nainggolan, Rudiger, Nelsinho and Bertrand. I would pick different CB because he is not my personal choice, but we were heavily linked with him and is probably on top of Conte's list. Tibo Azpi-Luiz-Cahill Nelsinho-Kante-Radja-Alonso Pedro-Morata-Eden Its not the ideal 11, but I can see something like this come next season.
-
Tbh I dont see Conte as man who would leave us for Real. Unless obviously things went south between our board, players and him. But as long he is doing good job and gets the support, I can see him for a while. Certainly until he completes his mission here, I dont see him leaving as soon as Real calls.
-
One thing Im glad we dont have Mou anymore is because he always sets defensive these days. Not just against best teams, but against anyone. WBA we lead at home 1:0, he decides to park the bus till end. Next game, same. With Conte, at least we push for killer goal to end the game. We keep playing our game. Sure we are still quite defensive against best teams, but it has to be said, we dont have a complete team and those tactics are completely appropriate. But not against small teams like Mou is doing.
-
Even if he stays, and I have nothing against it, we will certainly sign another striker, possibly Morata and sell Bats.

You realy cant point out that he scores against easy teams lol. He performed brilliantly in almost every juve game in CL, scoring against Real, Barca, Bayern, City,... Drogba wasnt 30 goals a season striker either. Hardly was he even a clinical finisher in true meaning. But he had physical and technical skill. And he was intelligent. Always performed against top teams. His finish was never as good lets say Lewandowski or Suarez, but his allround skill still got him to high amount of goals almost every season. Which is same for Morata. He is hard worker, quick, skilled with great attitude. If we compare between Morata and Lewandowski, obviously everyone picks Lewa. But when we compare with Lukaku, Morata is better choice. If Lukaku guaranteed goals against any opponent ok, but he doesnt. He is poor against better opponents. And what else he offers beside goals? If Costa was better on ball, our attack would be twice as deadly. Lukaku is same like Costa with less anger issues but poor mentality against top teams. Morata at least offers great linkup which would be very useful for Eden and Pedro/Sanchez. If he adds even more goals, he will be perfect for our system. Im sure Conte prefers Morata. I have no doubt. But the board might go for Lukaku. I will always rate players based on their attitude before talent. And Morata is miles ahead of Lukaku there.
